FLIGHT ATTENDANT LIFE | How I Stay Healthy | 2 Day Trip

As a flight attendant, I have to be careful about my health. I can't afford to get sick while I'm working, so I have to take care of myself. Here are some of the ways I stay healthy:

1. I eat healthy foods and avoid processed foods.

2. I drink plenty of water and avoid sugary drinks.

3. I get enough sleep and rest.

4. I exercise regularly.

5. I take vitamins and supplements.

6. I get regular checkups and screenings.

7. I avoid stress.

8. I stay away from sick people.

9. I clean my hands often.

10. I follow the company's health and safety guidelines.

By following these tips, I stay healthy and avoid getting sick while I'm working.

good morning everybody it is currently 4

30 in the morning and come on luna i do

have a flight attendant trip today but

long story short lately i've just been

feeling a little stressed and i think

that's normal i think it's you know

pretty normal for people to feel

stressed about things that are out of

their control and whatnot but anyways

today i really just want a reset and i

just want to do things that make me feel

good and happy and so we're starting our

day off early and little miss loon right

here she's always up with me no matter

what time of day it is rain or shine

she's always by my side this is going to

be a two-day flight attendant trip and i

did some meal prepping yesterday so let

me show you what i'm going to bring with

me these two

from there excuse me pure protein bars

that i can eat

throughout the day or for breakfast and

then i also have some fruits i have some

blueberries right here and these little

mandarin oranges i have two little

containers of chicken and fried rice i

think i'll do this for lunch today and

lunch tomorrow and then for dinner

tonight i have some leftover steak

mashed potatoes and broccoli so i'm

going to put all of that into my

lunchbox so i have these two at the

bottom and then i'll take these

ice packs and throw those on top where's

my other one over here so i'll just put

that there

just on top of that and then i'll grab

my fruit

just throw that all in there and then

i'm gonna drink this in the car after my

workout on my way to

work and then we'll see if i end up

needing this or not it's just like an

energy drink but i'll throw that in

there just in case i'll throw some more

ice on here and voila we are good to go

almost forgot my protein bars i do not

want to

miss out on those there we go i have a

little note that i'm going to leave for

eric i always try to leave him little

notes when i leave the house it's

actually something that i have done

since college is i've always just left

him little notes to say have a great day

or whatnot i have my gym bag with my

uniform and stuff in it and then i also

have all of my flight attendant luggage

luna i'm sorry baby but it's time for me

to head out of the house

i love you all right it's time to go

back to bed with dad

so i actually just pulled up to the gym

and i realized that i probably could

wait until i'm at my layover hotel today

to work out but honestly i really just

wanted to like wake up and get in a

really good workout um as most of you

know i was a gymnast oh

my phone is like playing music sorry um

but anyways as most of you know i was a

gymnast for 17 years so i've always been

like a really active person and i feel

like the gym is just that place where

for just one hour a day i can just give

all of my effort and really put that

time into myself and focus on not only

my physical health but my mental health

as well so this way i know that no

matter what else happens throughout the

rest of the day i accomplished something

i went to the gym and i got that done

with all of that said i'm gonna head

into the gym and get in a great workout

which will be an awesome way to start my

day and i think i'll probably just like

shower and get ready for work here so

anyways let's get in a great workout

while i'm working out this morning i

wanted to talk to you all about the app

i have been using for a year now for all

of my workouts the app is called copilot

and it is a one-on-one fitness and

nutrition experience how it works is

based off of your specific fitness needs

you will pick a coach have an onboarding

call with them and then start working

out from there some of my favorite

copilot features are how you were able

to track your movement and progress with

the app using the technology you will

actually receive feedback from your

coach during the workout and they also

walk you through the exercises step by

step you can also see exactly what

exercises you are doing and how you're

supposed to do it because each exercise

also provides a visual demonstration you

can complete the workouts from an actual

gym a hotel room your own home or

wherever in the world you are co-pilot

also allows you to communicate with your

coach daily as well as adjust your

workouts which has been very important

for me as i am on the road for work a

lot i am finishing up my workout right

now with some stretching but something

that i love about copilot is that i've

noticed over the past year of using it

is that i have just stayed so much more

consistent with my workouts as well as

having like a much higher focus on my

nutrition and i also love how through

the copilot app you can complete daily

habits like one of mine is walking i

really like too how after each workout

you can see the amount of time that it

took you the calories you burned the

muscles that you used and then you can

also see your peak and average heart

rate as well i also wanted to highlight

to the dfw airport it is currently 705

a.m and i feel great i honestly feel

like i have more energy now after

working out than i would have if i just

rolled out of bed and came to work

although i'm pretty sure i will be tired

later anyways so today we just have one

flight and super easy day it's from dfw

to orlando but before we head into work

today i want to start the day off with a

positive quote and today's is it is

never too late to be what you might have

been by george eliot i like this one

because it's just a good reminder that

no matter what age you are or what stage

you are at in life you can always make

changes and you can always like

accomplish and do things that maybe you

put on the back burner before so um like

morgan freeman like some like really big

actors they didn't even start acting

until they were in their 50s and look at

them now i think it just goes to show

that you know anything you want in life

you can achieve if you go after it also

do y'all see this today will be my first

time ever going to work without

pantyhose because they are no longer

required for us and to be quite honest i

am very excited about this because those

tights are really uncomfortable and

especially in dallas with the weather

being so hot

yeah i am very happy about this change

so i think that is awesome but i think i

might need to find some different shoes

because these without the tights i don't

know they're just not super cute it

definitely feels really weird right now

not wearing the tights so we'll see how

today goes and i don't know if i like it

i won't wear them and if i want to wear

them again then i'll change my mind

tomorrow maybe

i just got settled into my hotel room

here in orlando i just microwaved my

food downstairs i'm so excited to eat

i'm really really hungry i'm gonna have

some of my chicken and stir-fried rice

looks delicious it's like steaming now

uh the flight over here was a little

over two hours and it was good but

really busy i feel like flights to

orlando are always super busy because

there's always a lot of kids so i always

try to bring my own food on flight

attendant trips when i can because

eating out all the time gets really

expensive and i just feel like the food

that you can bring from home is

oftentimes a lot healthier too although

i do think i'm going to dinner tonight

with my friend ally i'm sure a lot of

you know her she is also a flight

attendant and a youtuber and she lives

here in orlando right now i'm waiting

for my video for maui to finish

uploading on youtube and then i'm gonna

make that live but in the meantime i am

just eating my lunch and it is a

beautiful day out here in orlando

all right so the video from maui is now

of my favorites from this year i have

loved traveling to hawaii over the past

few months and i'm really hoping i can

get more layovers there this summer i

changed into some shorts and decided to

come outside for a little bit to this

cute little outdoor area there's not

really anybody out here it's pretty nice

and peaceful i am definitely a sunshine

girl the more time that i can spend

outdoors especially on my flight

attendant layovers the happier i am and

something about just

laying in the sun feels so good

especially some days at work like if

i've been in that metal tube airplane

for eight hours like i just really

really want to get outside i feel like

especially days like today where i have

the chance to spend some time outdoors i

need to take advantage of it there is

some cloud coverage right now but it

still feels really nice i'm just going

to sit out here read and relax for a

little bit before i get ready for dinner

you can ignore the mess that i have made

but i just changed into this black dress

for dinner i love this dress for the

summer because it's super casual and

comfortable and the best part it has

pockets ally just texted me she is on

her way so she should be here soon look

so right now we are heading into disney

springs and what's the name of the

restaurant that we're eating oh i have

to check i can't remember she made the

reservation yes i'm in the reservation i

have to check i can't even remember

paradiso 37 okay paradiso 37 and is this

the mexican place no it's not that one

as soon as i try to make the reservation

somebody got it oh yeah okay well you

know what we're gonna have fun no matter

where we're at

we're having some dessert before dinner

like cheers really good

well done actually not a little donut

this is a big donut

it sounds like almost as big as my head

it's so good though i feel like i'm

making such a mess though

i just got back to my hotel room and it

was so much fun

getting to see ally and just hang out

and catch up dinner was great it was

awesome getting to see her but i have to

laugh because i told you all about how i

meal prepped for my trip so i wouldn't

eat out and then i ended up eating out

like a burger and a half a donut but you

know what life is all about balance told

eric that i am saving half of this donut

for him tomorrow i feel like this was

the perfect layover because it really

was a good mix of getting to go out and

do fun things and also resting and

relaxing i really need to take a shower

and start getting ready for bed

good morning everybody it is currently 5

56 a.m our hotel shuttle time is 6.05 so

i do want to leave my room in a few

minutes but last night after i got off

the phone with eric i listened to a

meditation to help me fall asleep and i

fell asleep during it so it did exactly

what i had wanted it to do i slept the

entire night i slept like a rock i did

not wake up again until my alarm went

off this morning it was a struggle like

i did not want to wake up this morning i

wanted to just hit snooze and keep

sleeping obviously i can't do that

because i gotta go to work but today is

day two of our two day trip so that

means i do get to go home tonight we

have three flights the first is from

miami to excuse me from orlando to miami

yes we're currently in orlando so

orlando to miami and then miami to

nassau bahamas and then from nassau back

home to dfw so that last flight is going

to be pretty long so today is going to

be a pretty long and busy day but

hopefully a good one as always i will

talk to you all throughout the day if i

have time but if not i will see you when

i'm back home in dallas

we are two flights down we flew from

orlando to miami and then miami to

nassau both flights were between 30 and

35 minutes as you can tell it is a bit

cloudy out here and i guess it's been

storming here all week this is

definitely somewhere i wish we could

stay but who knows maybe one day i'll

get a lay over here but we just have the

one flight home to dallas and i think

the flying time is about three hours and

45 minutes or four hours so i will see

you when we get home

eric made me some pizza dough do you

can flatten it what do i do if i just

i like my pizzas thick so

after my trip today i got an email from

my manager

and was saying that someone wrote like a

customer passenger wrote a letter about

me to the company saying that i did a

great job and that

i had like excellent customer service

and provided a good service and

definitely

made my day

i feel like

you shouldn't go looking for recognition

but

when you get it it's always really nice

all right is that too little or whatever

you want i always forget how like big it

gets an oven like i always feel like i

make it way too thin

very good it's like in oh i messed up a

little bit it's like in

the tv shows and you just see people

like fling it let me just do the back of

your hands

is that the back of your hands oh

you literally said that and i did it

pretty much

okay cooking sheet

so that it slides off so we don't own

one of those little paddle things yeah

okay so now sauce pizza seasoning that

is in this sauce i knew i made this

sauce right yeah

it's in here though okay

oh okay so eric put them in like little

jars the

pizza seasoning and i got this pizza

seasoning in napa so if you guys

remember that i went on with my friend

tiffany

is that enough sauce

pizza i know but you're better at making

them than me yes we are pineapple on

pizza eaters

i know it's a hot debate every time too

i think some spilled i spilled some i

like tried to break one and i spilled it

where's lupe i don't know

uh hotel right there on the floor get it

i have that song from stranger things

stuck in my head again it was out of my

head for a few days and then i heard it

again

yeah now it's back like that like

no tomatoes huh i'll do something online

then oh well then well okay maybe now we

can have two different light pizza

styles

i'm running up that hill

with miss luna ah so this one is mine

and this one is eric so far on a flat

bread only difference is mine has

pineapple

and his is gonna have tomatoes luna

good morning everybody so i have some

exciting things going on this upcoming

week one is i have my annual

requalifications training as flight

attendants we do have to re-qualify

every year so i have that this week and

then also i'm getting my hair done and

then my parents are coming into town to

celebrate my birthday they'll be here

for the whole next weekend so that'll be

really fun i am currently editing right

now and i have a helper down here hey

luna you always just hang out with me

down here when i'm editing but something

that i was thinking about last night and

kind of throughout the past few days

while i've been filming this video is

about how social media really is like a

highlight reel and while i try to be as

positive and optimistic as i can on my

channel which is my true self like i

don't ever want you guys to think that

i'm faking that because i'm truly not

but at the same time i also just want to

be real and authentic with you all and

with that said i feel like i've just

been having these feelings of inadequacy

lately and that's kind of like my own

fault because i will look through other

people's social medias and even me

having a youtube channel and like being

on social media i look at other people's

social medias and i just think about oh

my gosh like their life looks you know

so much grander and better than mine or

you know they're prettier than me or

this or whatever like whatever

insecurities that i might be having at

that time like i definitely still

compare myself to other people on social

media and i just feel like that's kind

of been like stressing me out lately and

also i just feel like i'm at that age

too where you see people buying houses

and having kids and sometimes i just

feel like they're way ahead of me in

life but i have to remind myself that

everybody is on their own timeline and

eric and i have obviously had many

discussions about our future and what we

want it to look like and our own

timeline for ourselves so i've had to

just kind of like take a step back and

remember that things will happen in

their own time when it's meant for us

and that i can't rush through everything

because i feel like that's what i've

been doing it's like i've just been

trying to like rush into things yeah i

probably sound like i'm rambling but i'm

sure you guys can relate to this too to

be honest eric and i don't know if texas

is our forever home so we're definitely

still considering it but we're

considering other places to move to

within the next year or two but then we

also have to think about financially

like what can we afford what would it be

like to live somewhere else and that's

kind of been stressing me out too so i

feel like for the rest of this month

especially i just really want to live in

the moment and be happy and grateful for

what i do have and then

when it comes time to make those

decisions we'll make them but worrying

about that right now is not going to

benefit me in any way i feel like when i

am stressed though i just have to put

that extra effort into doing things that

help me manage it and just help me feel

better which include reading meditation

working out being outside having little

date nights with eric like cooking our

pizza together and just i don't know

finding things that make me feel really

peaceful and happy and good about myself

so that's one of my goals for the rest

of summer is to just really put that

focus on myself and doing the things

that i enjoy even through the stressful

times life really is a beautiful thing
