subjective concept

active winters while others would
declare that they are at home in the
scorching heat of the desert

be an equatorial climate
the capital lilongwe is located at 1 100
meters above sea level and has mild
temperatures ranging from 23 degrees in
november which is the hottest month to
14 degrees in july
many other towns in malawi are
characterized by the same but more so in
high altitudes it rarely gets above 30
degrees in the lobby though it can get
almost freezing cold in winter malawa's
climate is very placid and enjoyable
making it one of the best places in
africa to chill out and enjoy a fresh
temperate climate

subtropical climate characterized by
three distinct seasons a hot and dry

with the highest mean daily maximum
temperatures occurring in the lunar

the coolest area overall is the high
naka plateau in the northeast on the
border with malawi
during the cold months june and july the
area west of the line of rail is the
coolest with mean minimum temperatures
mostly about seven degrees celsius

eight rwanda
rwanda is known as the land of a
thousand hills for a reason it is full
of hills and mountains that moderate its
climate being near the equator
because of its high elevation rwanda has
a temperate tropical highland climate
with lower temperatures than is typical
for equatorial countries
kigali in the center of the country has
a typical daily temperature range of
between 12 and 27 degrees with little
variation through the year
rwanda's relatively high altitude
provides it with a remarkably pleasant
tropical highland climate albeit one
with plenty of rain

seychelles
the sheer beauty of seychelles lies in
its status as the premier tropical

be mountainous but the breeze from the
ocean moderates the temperature

26 degrees celsius in july and august 27
degrees in january and 28 degrees
celsius in march april and may which are
the warmest months
the temperature however varies little
between night and day and season it
rarely exceeds 33 degrees during the day
and drops below 22 degrees at night
the country is also very green due to
the heavy summer rains and an abundance
of coconut trees all over the islands
the lush greens and crystal clear waters
make the islands a marvelous sight to

many places in tanzania have
temperatures that really go beyond 27

two kenya
kenya is a country in east africa that
is on the equator you'd think it would
be blistering hot right that is not the
case due to the fact that the majority
of it is mountainous and located at a
high elevation mount kenya africa's
second highest peak is found here this
mountain's impact on the climate is
evident
the aberdare ranges mount kilimanjaro
mount kalal nyamine hills mount elgon
and cherungini hills among others help
to temper the weather this means that
the majority of kenya is higher than
1000 meters above sea level with an
average daytime temperature of a
pleasant 23 degrees celsius if you enjoy
balmy tropical conditions kenya's
shoreline will not disappoint you
kenya's coast is one of the finest in
africa with mildly warm temperatures and

one south africa
at number one in south africa south
africa has a beautiful climate patchwork
of warm coastal sub-tropics hot desserts
human highlands snow-topped mountains
and an enclave of mediterranean weather
in the southwest
the high altitude of south africa's
interior means the country is generally
much cooler than southern hemisphere
countries at the same latitude such as
australia
the region around the cape peninsula
including cape town has a mediterranean
climate cold and miserable rain in
winter balanced by glorious clear sky
summers
south africa is one of the few african
countries that actually four seasons and
it even snows it is a country of
glorious rainy summers and beautifully
cool winters with the average
temperature being a cool and comfortable
24 degrees celsius
