When I was younger, I never imagined that I would end up making a career out of travel. It all started when I took a gap year between high school and college to travel the world. I started in Europe and then made my way to Asia and Africa. I had the time of my life and realized that I wanted to continue traveling and seeing new places.

After college, I started working in the travel industry and have never looked back. I love my job and am so grateful that I get to travel for a living. If you’re thinking about making a career out of travel, here are a few tips to get you started.

1. Find a job in the travel industry.

There are a lot of different jobs in the travel industry, so you’re sure to find one that’s a good fit for you. You could work as a travel agent, a tour guide, or even in a travel-related job like customer service for an airline.

3. Network.

It’s important to network in the travel industry because it’s such a small world. You never know when you’ll meet someone who can help you get your dream job or offer you a great opportunity. Attend industry events, join professional organizations, and connect with people on social media.

4. Be passionate.

If you want to make a career out of travel, you need to be passionate about it. Show your enthusiasm for travel in your cover letter and resume, and let your passion shine through in interviews.
