Coach Michele's facebook marketing: home care agency business

When you think about marketing your home care agency business, the first thing that probably comes to mind is online marketing. And while online marketing is important, it’s not the only type of marketing that you should be doing.

In order to attract new clients and grow your business, you need to have a comprehensive marketing strategy that includes a mix of online and offline marketing tactics.

Here are some offline marketing ideas that you can use to market your home care agency:

1. Network with referral sources.

Referral sources are a great way to generate new leads for your home care agency. These are businesses or individuals who work with seniors or their families and can refer them to your agency.

Some examples of referral sources include senior living communities, hospitals, doctors’ offices, and senior centers.

Make a list of potential referral sources in your area and reach out to them to introduce your business. Attend networking events and trade shows that they are involved in. And make sure to stay in touch with them on a regular basis.

2. Get involved in your community.

One of the best ways to market your home care agency is to get involved in your community. This is a great way to build brand awareness and show potential clients that you’re a business that cares about more than just making a profit.

have found is that a lot of you are

putting a post today maybe a post

tomorrow maybe one post a week and

you're considering that as advertising

your business guys it is not it is not

is it important to have presence on

social media

absolutely this type of business can

potentially do very well on Facebook not

necessarily on Instagram however I do

recommend having your business on

Instagram Instagram is really for you

know selling things right image type

things not necessarily this type of

service based on my experience right so

I'm not an Instagram guru by any means

but I can just go by my experience and

my success that I've had on Facebook and

continue to have on Facebook what I've

noticed thing what I'm noticing is that

when I have conversations with

individuals they're saying and I say

what is your marketing budget and how

much are you investing a month and

advertising and where are you

advertising and the majority of the time

people that are not making money say yes

I am marketing yes I am doing online

advertising yes I am doing digital

marketing yes I am doing search engine

optimization and guess what Facebook is

none of the above

right Facebook is a platform which

allows you to communicate now can you do

some of those things within the Facebook

platform absolutely however just simply

going in and putting a post saying you

know ABC home

agency specializes in this let us take

care of your mom we are hiring that is

not giving getting you the exposure that

you need to grow your business now you

may be saying oh yes it is I have five

thousand friends okay you have five

thousand friends let's talk about your

friends right or do they consist of your

list friends consist a family right

family that's what most of us have

family are your family members buying

from you Duke are they utilizing your

services are they referring you are they

sharing your post on their social media

page what are they doing friends same

thing right and their friends are

friends right so a lot of people say oh

I have five thousand friends and my

friends have five thousand friends and

it's getting everywhere guess what the

algorithm on Facebook is changing all

the time

and at this particular moment all of

your friends are not even family and

friends are not even seeing your post so

that's not necessarily considered

effective marketing so now when we think

about Facebook facebook allows you to

boost of facebook allows you to go into

the ad manager and create ads and then

monetize those ads they allow you to go

in in invest funds and have X amount and

you know money going out per day per

life of the ad you can target specific

people who by going into the interests

and creating a custom audience and

things like that however most of you are

not doing that so I just wanted to come

here real quick so you guys are not

spending unnecessary time thinking that

your marketing your business with

actuality you're not you're helping to

build brand awareness right and even if

you go into the ad manager and Facebook

there's a specific campaign that's

called brand awareness so brand

awareness is just simply getting the

name out there getting your company out

there and it's

creating brand awareness and then there

are specific ads the way you can target

individuals target you know different

type of interests and and job titles and

all type of things you could really get

into with Facebook it's a it's a very

tedious process in but it can be done

and you can have success with it we have

success with it so it can be done

however just going in posting even what

I've noticed is that a lot of you are

not consistent a lot of you are not

posting every single day some of you are

posting once a month right so we want to

be consistent because if there is

someone that's looking at you on

Facebook and they want to see that

you're consistent that you're serious

about your business and that is truly a

business and see that consistency and

when you're posting you want to educate

so you don't want to just sell sell so

you want to educate the consumer as well

and a potential client or his or her

loved one right and then with the

Instagram it's good that you connect the

two right so if you're posting on

Instagram then you want to make sure you

have a business Instagram account if

you're posting on Instagram you want to

make sure that it's sharing right it is

public and is sharing to your Facebook

which is going to alleviate some of your

time spent going from place to place and

then there's different type of software

like HootSuite different type of

software apps and things out there that

will allow you to post multiple places

scheduled and things like that so again

I'm not an expert in social media but I

do know quite a bit about it so just

wanted to come to you guys and share

this information that you're not

necessarily marketing advertising your

business just simply by putting a post

on Facebook every now and the day again

even if you do it every day even if you

do it twice a day it has to have a goal

right so even when you're going in and

you're creating campaigns that's one of

the requirements what is your goal so

what is your goal when you're posting

there are you posting because you're

busy hahaha right some of us get stuck

doing busy work I need you to do things

that are going to be productive and

you to do things that's going to solve

and be a solution to someone's problem I

need you to do things that are

money-making activities yes money-making

activities so you're gonna do all of

those in a very conclusive if you will a

very methodical right you want to think

it out we're gonna have a system in

place there is also the option of hiring

a social media manager there is also an

option of hiring someone that

specializes in search engine

optimization or digital marketing that's

gonna give you a full marketing online

digital profile and package right so

again just to reiterate cuz I want to

make sure the people in the back here

this is that just by posting on Facebook

is not considered marketing your

business effectively right so we can

tell I will mine that but when it comes

to generating right so whenever you're

doing something that you're marketing

your business it doesn't always have to

have money a monetary amount associated

with it however it has to have a goal

and then it needs to show results and it

needs to be measurable okay so those are

some things I want you to take away from
