To create your own DIY motivational quote wall hanging, you'll need:

-A piece of wood (I used a 1x2)

-A saw (I used a hand saw)

-A drill

-A hammer

-Nails

-Paint (I used white paint)

-A paintbrush

-Stencils (I used a large number stencil and a small alphabet stencil)

-A level

-Tape measure

-Scissors

-Paper

-Pencil

First, you'll need to cut your piece of wood to the size you want your wall hanging to be. I cut mine to be 24 inches wide and 36 inches long.

Next, you'll need to drill holes for your nails. I drilled 4 holes, one in each corner.

Then, you'll need to paint your wood. I painted mine white, but you can paint it whatever color you want.

Once your paint is dry, you'll need to stencil your quotes onto the wood. I used a large number stencil for my first quote and a small alphabet stencil for my second quote.

To stencil your quotes onto the wood, you'll need to tape your stencils in place and then use a pencil to trace around the stencil. Once you've traced around the stencil, you can remove the stencil and paint over your pencil lines with paint. I used black paint for my quotes.

Once your paint is dry, you can hammer your nails into the holes you drilled earlier. Then, you can hang your wall hanging on a nail or a screw in the wall.
