If you're anything like me, then you love food. Not just any old food, but good food; delicious, healthy food that satisfies both your taste buds and your nutritional needs. And while I enjoy indulging in the occasional junk food, I always make sure to get my fill of nutritious eats as well.
But just because I'm health-conscious doesn't mean I don't enjoy a good time. I love to have fun, and I love to play with my food. And I'm not just talking about making funny faces with my food. I'm talking about using food as a form of entertainment.
There are countless ways to turn meal time into play time, and I've experimented with many of them. One of my favorites is to create edible works of art. I'll take a blank canvas (a plate or a bowl) and turn it into a masterpiece using healthy ingredients like fruits, vegetables, grains, and proteins.
Not only is this a fun way to eat, but it's also a great way to get your daily dose of nutrients. And it's a great way to get your kids interested in eating healthy as well. So next time you're looking for a way to add a little fun to your meal, think about using food as your entertainment. You might be surprised at how much you enjoy it.
