Giusy Versace and the Language of Sport

Giusy Versace is an Italian sportswear designer and the founder of the Giusy Versace sport line. She is also a former professional volleyball player, having played for the Italian national team.
In an interview, Versace said that she views volleyball as a sport that is all about communication. "It's a sport where you have to be able to read your teammates, and understand what they're trying to say with their body language," she said.
This ability to read and react to the nonverbal cues of her teammates is something that Versace has used to her advantage in her career as a designer. "I think it helps me a lot in my work, to be able to understand people and what they're trying to say without them having to say it in words," she said.
In the world of fashion, where so much is communicated through visuals, being able to read and interpret body language is a valuable skill. And it's one that Versace has used to create a successful career for herself.
