Is time travel to the future possible? Brian Cox explained | science | physics | universe

According to world-renowned physicist Brian Cox, the answer to this question is a resounding yes! In fact, he believes that time travel is not only possible, but that it happens all the time, every day.

Cox explains that the reason we experience time is due to the fact that we are moving through space. He likens it to watching a film; the faster we move through space, the slower time appears to move. So, if we could move through space faster than the speed of light, time would appear to stand still.

While this may seem like a far-fetched idea, Cox believes that it is theoretically possible to build a machine that would allow us to do just that. He says that such a machine would essentially be a time machine, as it would enable us to travel to the future.

Of course, there are many challenges associated with building such a machine. But, as Cox points out, the fact that we don't yet have the technology to do it doesn't mean that it's not possible. After all, we once thought that flying was impossible, but now we have airplanes.

So, while time travel to the future may not be possible just yet, it's certainly an exciting idea to think about. Who knows, maybe one day we'll all be able to hop in a time machine and visit the future!

listening to this broadcast I imagine

those sat here and imagine a clock

would run slow relative to us it's not

just we'd see it run slow it would run
