man i got to give you the advice

you've paid the bucks you haven't been

cheap with me so i'm gonna tell you

exactly how i feel the seiko five

ditched that piece of that is a not

a winner's watch gonna get loser germs

viking garbage

three eight six one sapphire yes

beautiful watch

that's lower middle class aspirational

watch good watch for lower middle class

customers the breitling i love the

breitling breitling is is actually one

of my favorites

in my opinion a little bit more than the

amiga good piece

the rolex winner winner chicken

microwave dinner absolutely

fantastic so

the seiko and the bambino you just

forget that that's that's not going to

work you that's for the bad

neighborhoods in town

now questions should i wind my watch

every day when not using them or let

them sit until i wear them

i see mixed opinions on this subjects

okay so it depends on the watch itself

there the

uh you've got a nice little ensemble

i would tend to say in my opinion

the we've only got three watches the

seiko we've already said is garbage

the seiko five urchin the fiat sorry the

orient bambino is a piece of

so there's no point wasting time on

those pieces of

the omega that's a great wind and wear

if you're not wearing it let it wind

down doesn't hurt it

wind it up and then set the time

the navi timer i love another you know

they're a beautiful

watch

and the rolex

um look

it doesn't really matter i would

probably put that into the rotation

i'd put it into the rotation

uh would i get a winder look

the problem with a winder is you can't

put it in your safe i always recommend

people i'm more scared about

robbery and burglary than i am about the

the winder situation

my best advice is you can always

alternate

from

say your amiga to your breitling you

know because they they will last a bit

longer

it's not a good idea to

manually wind them to keep the charge up

that actually runs the gears really fast

through them on delicate watches like

paddocks and vacherons and aps

i was talking to a watchmaker he said

the worst thing to do is just to keep

winding it manually every day so don't

do that don't do that

so

nothing wrong with letting it stop and

then when you want to wear it again

winding it and setting it

uh but

i my honest opinion is

uh you've only got three decent watches

there so

you you could keep them going by

uh

you know alternating them every day or

second day so that's that's what i would

be looking at doing

number two will shining a black light on

the dial to charge the loom harm the

watch

look i don't think it's a good idea to

put any bright lights on anything no

it's not going to harm the watch uh

you're not bright lights it's more the

heat is the problem if you're putting

hot bright lights on it the heat is more

going to be damaging than the light

content itself

who cares about loom that's not the

reason we buy these

just use them as they're expected

there there if you want to get a lumi

watch you get a quartz that's

to add a rolex datejust 41 to tone

jubilee no you need to get the steel

because otherwise you're going to look

like a rat with a gold tooth

it's not the right thing you're only 34

so no i would not be doing that okay

i'd go for more of a white dial

uh that that would be my preference

the day date 40 uh now that's a very

much a

uh that's a bit of a confrontational

very good but you'd wanna you wouldn't

use that every day that's a special

often because people get jealous
