In dreamworks animation's home, Oh (Jim Parsons), a loveable misfit from another planet, lands on earth and finds himself on the run from his own people. He eventually forms an unlikely friendship with an adventurous girl named Tip (rihanna), who is on a quest of her own. Through a series of comic adventures, the two unlikely companions try to find a way back to Oh's home planet before it's too late.
home is based on the 2007 novel The True Meaning of Smekday by Adam Rex. The film is directed by Tim Johnson (Antz) and produced by Bonnie Arnold (How to Train Your Dragon, Toy Story 3).
