Looking for a unique and stylish way to display your TV? Check out this tutorial for a diy floating media console. This stand is easy to build and is a great way to add a touch of luxury to your home entertainment setup.
If you're like most people, your TV is the centerpiece of your home entertainment setup. But if you're looking for a way to add a touch of luxury to your TV viewing experience, a floating media console is the way to go.
A floating media console is a great way to add a touch of class to your home theater setup. And the best part is, it's easy to build! With this tutorial, you'll be able to build your own floating media console in no time.
Here's what you'll need to build your own floating media console:
First, use the table saw to cut the plywood into two pieces: one that is 30" wide and 48" long, and one that is 30" wide and 24" long. Then, use the hole saw to cut four holes in the 30" x 48" piece of plywood. These holes will be for the L-brackets.
Next, use the jigsaw to cut out a notch in the 30" x 24" piece of plywood. This notch will be for the TV cord. Once the notch is cut, sand down the edges of both pieces of plywood.
If you want, you can now paint or stain the plywood. We chose to leave ours natural, but feel free to finish it however you like.
Now it's time to assemble the floating media console. First, attach the L-brackets to the 30" x 48" piece of plywood using the screws. Then, place the 30" x 24" piece of plywood on top of the L-brackets, and use the washers and nuts to secure it in place.
Finally, use the wall anchors to secure the floating media console to the wall. And that's it! You now have a stylish and unique way to display your TV.
