what's up everybody i'm seth fowler and

today i'm counting down the top 10 best

lifestyle running sneakers of 2019.

first off i want to give a huge thank

top 10 best lifestyle running sneakers

of 2019. every shoe mentioned in this

list is very versatile and can be worn

for both running and for just casual

lifestyle wear some shoes on this list

though are definitely designed more for

running than they are for casual wear

but they can definitely be worn for

either and if you feel like i've left

off any sneakers from the list it's

probably because i had them on last

year's list i did the same video for

2018 so if you'd like to check out that

list and see if there's any other

sneakers that you're interested in i've

left a link at the top of the screen all

the sneakers mentioned in today's video

are new for 2019. that said i picked the

order of this list based on my personal

preferences all the sneakers included in

this list are great shoes if you decide

to pick up any of the shoes on this list

make sure you're grabbing it because it

works best for you and not because it's

higher than another shoe on the list but

with all that out of the way let's jump

right into it number 10 the new balance

fresh foam laser hyponit v2 the recently

released fresh foam laser hyponet v2 is

actually the cheapest sneaker on this

list at 99 it's a neutral sneaker

designed mainly for lifestyle wear but

it can be used for the occasional run

the fresh foam midsole is surprisingly

comfortable underfoot and the laser

engraving on the midsole is not only a

unique feature but it also reduces the

look of creasing over time in order to

enhance comfort new balance actually got

rid of as many seams as possible on the

upper to reduce rubbing which i've got

to say actually really helps the mesh

upper is stretchy and pretty breathable

and feels good on foot if you're on a

budget or you just love the way the

laser hyponit v2 looks and you need an

everyday sneaker that's very comfortable

that you can wear occasionally for

running this is a great way to go number

nine the on cloud this swiss design

neutral on cloud runner costs 129

dollars and definitely has a unique look

one of the first things that caught my

attention was this slip-on design even

though it looks like it has laces this

is actually just one elastic cord that

wraps all the way through the eyelets

and allows you to stretch the tongue the

downside of this system is that the fit

isn't adjustable but i've got to say i

grab my true size and this shoe fits me

great this minimal upper is made up of a

breathable antimicrobial mesh that has

some padding around the ankle as you can

probably tell the main selling point of

this shoe is the very unique looking

cloud tech midsole this midsole is

extremely lightweight and offers

surprisingly comfortable cushion i was

actually kind of blown away in one of

the reviews that i read on this sneaker

someone said that it felt like running

on clouds i don't totally agree with

that but it is still a pretty

comfortable shoe and the midsole is

surprisingly springy if you're looking

for a very lightweight and springy

running sneaker that will definitely

turn heads this is a good way to go

number eight the nike odyssey react

flyknit 2. the odyssey react flyknit 2

is a neutral running sneaker that

usually retails for 119 but it's

currently on sale at

roadrunnersports.com so if you'd like to

in the description below this sneaker is

great for both lifestyle and performance

wear and the front half of the sneaker

actually is made up of full flyknit

which is very comfortable and very

breathable the back half of the sneaker

features neoprene which is very well

padded and actually reduces irritation

around the ankle the odyssey react

flyknit 2 features a full length react

midsole which is very comfortable

underfoot because it's very soft and

still responsive the shoe also features

a tpu heel clip which helps with

stability around the heel on the bottom

of the sneaker you have these dark navy

rubber pods for added traction and

durability and even though a lot of the

outsole is just covered in raw react it

doesn't actually wear down that fast and

the durability of the sneaker is

surprising if you're looking for a

budget-friendly comfortable everyday

sneaker that can also be run in the nike

odyssey react flyknit 2 is a great

option number 7 the nike zoom vomero 14.

the nike zoom vomero 14 is a 139 neutral

running sneaker the zoom vomero 14 has

an engineered mesh upper which is both

durable and supportive not only that but

the sneaker also offers an excellent fit

because the shoe features a flywire

lacing system in the mid foot which

allows you to customize the fit of the

sneaker to your liking flywire is

actually these little cables right here

that the laces weave through and they

run all the way throughout the upper of

the sneaker so when you tighten the

laces it pulls the entire midfoot of the

shoe together the zoom vomero 14 also

has ample padding around the ankle and

the heel and then arguably the best part

about this sneaker is the full length

air unit inside the midsole paired with

some react foam that midsole setup gives

this sneaker a lot of comfort and impact

protection while still allowing for some

ground feel and responsiveness the zoom

vomero 14 also touts an incredibly

aggressive traction pattern so if

traction is a priority for you this is a

great way to go number six the brooks

ravenna 10. the brooks rivena 10 is a

109 dollar stability focused running

sneaker this is a more minimal sneaker

with a one-piece mesh upper and an

internal booty construction the upper is

pretty comfortable and pretty breathable

and the ankle and heel areas are very

well padded the revena 10 features a bio

mogo dna midsole which provides a pretty

responsive and springy feel underfoot

it's definitely not a soft midsole but

that's because the sneaker focuses

mainly on stability the ravenna 10 also

has a guide rails holistic support

system which focuses on protecting your

knees the brook survena 10 is a

relatively inexpensive sneaker that's

good if you're looking for a stable shoe

that will take the pressure off your

knees number five the hoka onee oney

arahi iii the new arahi 3 is a 129

dollar stability focused running sneaker

the arahi 3 features an engineered mesh

upper that is lightweight breathable and

very comfortable now the mesh isn't as

stretchy as some of the knits that we've

talked about on previous sneakers but i

kind of like that about this shoe

because it really holds you in place

well while still being breathable the

upper of the araki 3 is very well padded

around the ankle and the heel which

gives you a lot of support in these

areas as well the hoka onee arahi 3

features a firmer eva midsole than the

arahi 2. that translates to a more

supportive and more responsive ride not

only that but the araki 3 also features

one of the widest footprints of any

sneaker on this list making it one of

the most stable i actually really like

this sectioned or ribbed midsole i think

it gives the sneaker a very cool

aggressive look if you're looking for a

lightweight very responsive running

sneaker that's mainly focused on

stability this is a great way to go

number four the adidas ultra boost 4.0

the ultraboost 4.0 is a 180 neutral

runner that's become very popular for

both running and for casual wear in my

personal opinion i think the ultraboost

4.0 is the best looking sneaker on this

list however i definitely wouldn't call

it the best running sneaker and i would

primarily wear this for casual use that

said it was still designed for

performance running and i think adidas

did a great job combining premium

materials both on the upper and on the

midsole to create a very solid sneaker

the upper of the ultra boost is made up

of this very stretchy and soft knit

material called primeknit primeknit is

very breathable and very comfortable on

foot and you could even describe it as

almost a sock-like fit although this

ultraboost 4.0 colorway is very colorful

there are lots of other color ways to

choose from and some of them are even on

sale one of the other standout features

of the ultra boost is the full length

boost midsole this midsole is incredibly

soft and offers excellent energy return

and comfort one thing to keep in mind

though is that it might be a little bit

too soft for some runners taste so it's

a shoe that you probably only want to

wear for distance running and not for

sprinting however if you're just gonna

wear this shoe casually like i do i have

like six pairs of these you can't really

get much better than this because it's a

good looking sneaker and it's

unbelievably comfortable number three

the adidas ultra boost 19. the 180 ultra

boost 19 is the latest ultra boost

iteration to release the ultra boost 19

features a couple performance upgrades

over the ultra boost 4.0 that we just

talked about however some people think

that this sneaker doesn't look as good

and honestly i tend to agree with those

people i don't think it looks as good

but it's actually more comfortable the

19 switched out the original upper

material for a brand new version of

primeknit called primeknit 360. this

version of primeknit offers a more

supportive and precise fit while still

remaining soft and very comfortable in

fact even though i love the primeknit on

the ultraboost 4.0 i think the primeknit

360 is actually more comfortable the

ultraboost 19 also switches out the

standard heel counter for a new version

called the 3d heel fit counter this new

version gives you a more natural fit and

honestly a little bit better lockdown

and then one of the biggest changes is

that they actually added 20 more boost

in the midsole which makes this sneaker

even more comfortable because this new

heel counter spills over onto the

midsole the midsole is now a lot more

stable so this is a sneaker that i

actually run in on a regular basis the

ultraboost 19 is a good neutral distance

runner and by far one of the most

comfortable sneakers on this list number

two the brooks glycerin 17. the 149

neutral brooks glycerin 17 is known as

brook's plushious trainer the glycerin

17 features a double jaccard mesh upper

which is breathable supportive and

comfortable the shoe also features an

interesting hexagonal pattern that runs

from the upper of the sneaker down to

the midsole it's a unique touch but one

that i'm not particularly a fan of that

definitely doesn't take away from the

comfort of this sneaker though because

the booty upper of the shoe is

unbelievably well padded and extremely

soft the dna loft foam midsole is also

very well cushioned and very soft and

i've got to say from personal experience

it feels great underfoot the outsole of

the sneaker also features pressure map

zones that disperse impact away from the

body the glycerin 17 definitely lives up

to its name of the plushious brooks

trainer number one the nike epic react

2. this neutral 150 nike epic react 2 is

the more premium take on the odyssey

react flyknit 2. the epic react 2

features a full flyknit upper which is

lightweight breathable and very

comfortable not only that but the epic

react is one of nike's flagship running

models which means there are tons of

different color ways available the epic

react 2 also features a thick full

length react midsole which is very soft

and comfortable while not feeling

unstable one of my favorite things about

the epic react 2 is that out of all the

sneakers on this list designed to be

worn both casually and for performance

running the epic react 2 in my opinion

does the best job of being a great

all-around running shoe while also

looking really good it's a pretty

lightweight sneaker while still being

breathable and supportive and while the

react midsole is very soft underfoot

when you're just walking around casually

it doesn't ever feel too soft or too

unstable for running in my opinion it

gives you just the right amount of

response and springiness for everyday

runs if you have 150 bucks to spend and

you're looking for a sneaker that you

can both go for a run in the morning and

then wear all day at work the epic react

2 has you covered but that pretty much

wraps up the list for today i would love
