okay so this video shows you how to get

a completely free vpn on your 4k fire tv

stick now this is in the uk in england

to be precise so i don't know if this is

available worldwide on the fire tv stick

but it's certainly available in england

in the united kingdom so here's how you

get it

so

open up your fire tv stick go to the

main menu then go to find then go down

to search and just type in the search

there

libra vpn all one word no spaces so

that's libra

and then once you've got that down there

just go down to it highlight in white

press the middle button on the remote

control and you'll see under apps and

games there is vpn libra or libra vpn

press the middle button and then press

it again to get it and this bit might

take a bit of time it just depends on

the speed of your internet connection as

well as the speed of your fire tv stick

so as you can see mine's now downloading

but it's going to take a few seconds i

think to download and once it's

downloaded then it will automatically

start to install so just be patient with

this part may take some time there we go

mine's now downloaded and it's now

installing and depending on the speed of

your fire tv stick

this might take a little while just be

patient with it there we go mine's now

installed as it says they're open so

just press the middle button on the

remote control to open it so here we go

once we're on this screen here all we

need to do is press the down button

twice so the orange circle goes over the

power button there then press the middle

button on the remote control and it says

and it's still going to connect anyway

now this because this is the first time

it's connected it says libra vpn wants

to set up a vpn connection that allows

it to monitor network traffic only

except if you trust the source

so a key will appear at the top of your

screen when the vpn is active so i'm

just going to press the down button once

so the okay is highlighted and then

press the middle button on the remote

control and it will now start to connect

so there you go it's now connected now

if i want to disconnect from the vpn i

can just again press the middle button

so press the down button on the remote

control twice to get the circle around

that press the middle button it now

disconnects if i go down to where it

says india there get the little orange

icon around it or the circle around it

press the middle button on the remote

control you will see there all the

different countries where there are vpns

available for so if i go into united

kingdom there there's actually two there

there's united kingdom one and uk

l so i can select either one of those

and again every time i select one it

asks us to accept to uh connect to their

network now i'm going to say cancel to

that press the middle button on the

remote control and as you'll see it's

now connected now what i'm going to do

is i'm going to do a speed test on here

so first of all i'm just going to

disconnect and just give you an idea of

what speed i'm getting without a vpn so

let's just do that so i'm just going to

go over to this testnet speed here that

i've got installed on my fire tv stick

and

let's run a test with that and i'm just

going to do a standard download test

okay so as you can see here i'm getting

a whopping around about 22 megabits

thanks to

open reach here in the uk and there we

go the eventual speed was

21.66 so that's without a vpn thanks to

open reach and their wonderful copper

telephone lines here in the uk being

sarcastic if you haven't noticed okay so

let's go back and let's just go into

libra vpn

okay and we're going to connect so

cancel that

let it connect as you can see it's now

connected that's quite fast i'm going to

press the home button on the remote

control go back into this test

speed net so let's just go into this

standard download and let's just see

what we're getting now so we're getting

around about 20.75

so they go it just it fluctuates a bit

there so as you can see not much has

been knocked off the speed it is usual

for one or two megabits on any vpn

either free or paid for to be knocked

off but this is pretty good for a free

vpn to be quite honest with you most of

the free ones that i've tried in the

past will probably only give you about a

quarter of the speed that you get so

there you go that is a completely free

vpn for your 4k fire tv stick available

in the uk in particular i know it's

available in england it may be available

across the world
