Developer fntastic (the team behind "The Day Before") has decided that 4 days after launch they will now cut bait, turn, and run away with the cash.
What was once a highly anticipated zombie survival mmo, (with hundreds of thousands of sales, and a multi-year marketing hype cycle...) is now a historic example of just how easily a game can be used to fleece its customers.
The Day Before will serve as a long remembered example of why marketing cannot be believed, and why Early Access video games are to be treated with caution.
