Spider-Man 4 Release Date, DCU Batman Update, Mortal Kombat 2 Full Cast & MORE!!

hello wonderful movie fans of the world

I've got movie news to discuss so let's

get into it some of the things we're

gonna be discussing here today guys is

it looks like we have some official

dates by Sony giving us an idea when Tom

Holland's Spider-Man 4 could release we

got what looks to be a completed list of

the cast of characters for Mortal Kombat

2 letting you know if your favorite

character made the cut for the sequel

that along with Andy muschietti being

confirmed to direct Batman brave in the

Bold should we be excited or scared that

along with so much more time Stamps will

be in the description or you can just

take a peek to see what else we're

talking about just real quick a couple

of updates on the channel I will be

posting my spoiler review for The Flash

later today really looking forward to

ranting off about the things I liked and

disliked about the movie I saw the new

Pixar movie Elemental so expect a review

of that movie on the channel heck it

might already be posted aside from that

stuff coming to the YouTube channel guys

twitch has reached out to me about

wanting me to stream on their platform

coming out might just do a whole stream

dedicated to spoilers on the flash with

chat but okay with all that out of the

way let's dive into our first movie news

story here today some real exciting

stuff man cause Bambi she be getting her

own live-action movie

is Bambi a girl

The Hollywood Reporter has it here that

Sarah Polley in talks to direct a

live-action Bambi movie all of us here

have just completely fallen in love with

every single Disney live-action remake

that's come out right it makes total

sense to make another movie with like

zero human characters except the guy who

kills Bambi's mom you're gonna give him

a whole origin and backstory show us how

he's a misunderstood villain that was

actually supposed to kill the mob to

control the deer population in the

forest you know what I'm actually down

for this movie now okay joking aside as

someone who used to like be okay with

these live-action Disney remakes always

coming out I've hit my burning point

with them I just don't get that excited

for them and a lot of the times the best

thing that comes out of them is just

they're okay something like the

live-action Bambi movie yeah I'm sure

you could do something great but I think

you'll still run into that problem that

I've been seeing with these live action

remixes when you take these creatures

with humanistic features like large eyes

exaggerated mouse that gives them real

expression in animated form that lets

you you feel and attach yourself to them

when you translate it into a real deer

all of that goes away and then it just

becomes an awkward almost laughable mess

to look at just again that scene

involving Bambi's mom dying that is a

heartbreaking scene that is sad how is

that gonna be as heartbreaking looking

at a real dead-eyed animal like that's

just not gonna hit the same the only

other real conversation we could have

about this is it gonna get the

theatrical treatment or is it going to

get the dump on Disney plus treatment to

me this has the feelings of ending up on

Disney plus I don't feel like this is

big enough to go to theaters although

I'm sure a lot of people love Bambi this

feels like a straight to Disney plus

live action remake but again I'm always

happy to be proven wrong this could be

one of the better ones out there and

I'll eat my words and tell you guys

honestly once I see the move how are you

guys feeling about a live-action Bambi

movie moving forward something that I

definitely found real exciting here is

we've got a list of casting characters

joining Mortal Kombat 2. this will be

the sequel equal to the 2021 Mortal

Kombat movie that look I know it gets

hate I know people think it's terrible

and yes it is definitely flawed I had

fun watching that movie heck I'm even

someone that didn't mind Cole young but

here deadline lets us know a full roster

of the casting characters and your

favorite one might end up on this list

so going through some of the actors

that'll now be playing these iconic

characters from the video games starting

off here with Martin Ford as Shao Khan

this guy is definitely beefed up to play

the role I see the vision and I approve

of this we have Desmond chin as king

Jared this isn't a character I'm

actually too familiar with anasu nuin as

Queen sindel this is a character a lot

of people are hoping to see in the

movies an interesting choice you have

Damon Herman as Quan Chi I think he's

gonna play a significant role in this

movie especially when we talk about some

other returning characters the deadline

article even goes as far as to reiterate

some information that was kind of iffy

last time we talked about it Carl Urban

is gonna be playing Johnny Cage this is

a official this man is our Johnny Cage I

love Carl Urban Johnny Cage is my

favorite character of the series I am

very hesitant to see how he plays the

character but I'm gonna remain

open-minded Adele Rudolph as Katana and

tati Gabriella as Jade now along with

some of these new faces the article also

confirms some returning faces from the

previous movie that'll be coming in some

aren't really a surprise like Sonia

blade Raiden Jax Liu Kang characters we

expected to return but some that kind of

stood out to me were of course Sub-Zero

Kung Lao and Kano the reason they stood

out is because spoilers those characters

died in the first movie and it looks

like here in the sequel they will be

brought back and I think a lot of that

will have to do thanks to Quan Chi if

I'm right with my basic knowledge of

Mortal Kombat from what I remember

playing all these years Quan Chi is

known for resurrecting characters that

have died in the lore and then

manipulating them or coercing them to

work for him and I think that's

something deaf definitely we're going to

see play out in the second movie so

really I'm excited man I'm looking

forward to this I can't wait to see some

footage I'm sure they're gonna have a

bit of a higher budget they changed

writers on here and that was really a

lot of the problems I had with that

first movie some of the writing was very

flawed and weird I'm gonna remain

positive with this movie and all I need

them to do is entertain me and give me a

bloody fun time for some of you more

die-hard Mortal Kombat fans how are you

feeling about this cast and with these

specific characters can you speculate

what the story will be bringing us over

here to talk a little bit about DC

because we just got a major confirmation

about Batman brave in the bowl now if

you've been living under a rock you

might not have heard that James Gunn has

confirmed there will be a Batman in his

new DCU it's not gonna be Robert

Pattinson's Batman but he's not going

away anytime soon he's gonna continue

having his own franchise in an else

World separated from the DCU where Matt

Reeves is free to make sequels and

spin-offs about that specific Batman but

here in the DCU Batman we are also

promised the inclusion of Robin

specifically Damien Wayne I would have

really have liked it to Ben Dick Grayson

as the robin but that's fine as long as

I'm getting a Batman and a Robin

together in a movie for the first time

since my childhood I am so excited the

biggest question has now just been who's

directing this movie man who's gonna

make it it's kind of a big deal when you

get a new director for a Batman movie

let alone one that is going to include a

little Robin well of course with the

flash premiering this weekend and the

Rumor circulating that Andy muschetti

was gonna be the director it got

confirmed variety has it here that new

Batman film Brave in the Bold lands The

Flash director Andy mushieri the article

is even able to get a direct quote from

James Gunn so you know it's a hundred

percent official where James Gunn and

saffron both told this to variety we saw

the flash even before taking the Reigns

at DC Studios and we knew we were in the

hands of not only a Visionary director

but a massive DC fan it's a magnificent

film funny emotional thrilling and

Andy's affinity and passion for these

characters and this world just resonates

through every frame so when it came time

to find a director for the Brave and the

Bold there was really only one choice

luckily Andy said yes Barbara signed on

to produce with us and we are on our way

they're an extraordinary team and we

couldn't have been better or more

inspiring Partners as we embark on this

thrilling new adventure in the DCU okay

so a couple of things on that first

let's talk about the internet reaction

because for one you would have been on

the internet maybe like two three weeks

ago everybody loved Andy muschetti

everybody was praising him hyping him up

going man we really got to see the flash

even though Ezra Miller is a big problem

we gotta support it for people like

Annie muschetti and Michael Keaton and

Sasha Kaye but now people have turned on

Andy muschetti and they're really

talking bad on him sort of the same way

people turned on Sam Raimi once they

started seeing Multiverse of Madness and

going this is the guy who made the

iconic Spider-Man movies really it's

kind of sad to see something like that

happen but I guess it's understandable

with all the negative things the flash

is attached to you're just gonna have

people being extremely negative with the

film jumping into my own personal

opinion as someone who has seen The

Flash and a lot of Andy muschetti's work

with the it movies I'm actually pretty

excited to see his take on Batman I

think the Batman aspects of The Flash

are some of the best parts of the film

and those are very minor Parts even

though the marketing would have you

believe most of the movie is Michael

King Batman or Ben Affleck Batman

they're a really small part of it but

their parts were awesome Andy muschetti

was not afraid to let Batman use his

gadgets it was also of two very

distinctly different Batmans you had Ben

Affleck doing his large adventurous

explosion stuff and then Michael Keane

was able to kick butt but then he even

used gadgets of his time don't want to

say too much more because I don't want

to spoil the movie for you guys but the

thing I liked about the flash that Andy

muschetti did is he leaned into the

comic book aspect of the character The

Flash and I feel like that's what you

need for Batman brave in the Bold is a

director who isn't hell-bent on trying

to make Batman as realistic grounded and

if like he actually existed I've

mentioned this so many times I love what

Christopher Nolan did with the Dark

Knight I love what Matt Reeves did with

Robert Pattinson's Batman that is still

my favorite Batman movie to date but as

someone who grew up watching over and

over in movies like Batman Forever and

Batman and Robin there is something just

so fun and interesting about a Wacky

Batman who isn't afraid to do some weird

stuff I'm not saying I want movies in

that tone again but I think if you take

that exaggerated realistic tone and took

it seriously you could have a really

awesome Batman movie where you don't

always have to focus on making them feel

realistic give us a Batman who has to

fight a clay face we were asked to fight

a Man-Bat a Killer Croc I think Annie

muschetti could be able to do that

especially he was a horror director

there is some horror Vibes with Batman

you can attach in his Rogues Gallery if

I had to be honest on some of the things

that hold me back about Andy muschetti

is how quick he is to you use VFX I

understand that with the Flash and maybe

even Pennywise with some of the scenes

that happen in those movies but in both

those films there are sequences where I

felt like CGI wasn't definitely needed

and man do the Matt Reeves and Nolan

movies just look so breathtaking

cinematography wise I'd be afraid of the

cinematography here I mean this was a

guy who let Batman be shot in light

twice with Ben Affleck and Michael

Keaton I don't really want to see a

Batman that's going to be fighting crime

in broad daylight but again those are

just kind of like my minor in a picture

worries maybe you guys have other ones

but I want to remain optimistic because

I mean these are characters I love and

want to see over and over on the big

screen so I always want the best for

them what do you guys think about any

muschetti directing Batman brave in the

Bold especially if you're someone who

saw the flash this weekend all right

moving it over here to talk about some

Sony and Spider-Man properties here

we've gotten a couple of updates in the

Sony Spider-Man universe and heck it

feels like we've been talking a lot of

Spider-Man this past couple of weeks

which always makes me happy and the

specific thing we have right here is

Sony making announcements and

adjustments to their release calendar

that give us a hint on where Spider-Man

4 could release it makes sense that Sony

would do this update right after Disney

and Marvel had their major release date

change and shift everybody was wondering

about the Spider-Man stuff but only Sony

can announce stuff involved with

Spider-Man and here we got two release

dates so the rap here is reporting that

first an Untitled Sony Marvel movie will

be released November 8 2024 so that's

pretty much in a year then we have an

Untitled Sony Marvel live action movie

that'll be released June 27

2025. that's the release date a lot of

people are thinking could be Tom Holland

Spider-Man 4. it's a summer release date

that's been the pattern with all the Tom

Holland Spider-Man movies 2025 seems

like the right time frame for them to

eventually start the cameras rolling

next year do all the preview effects

Market it and then release it for 2025.

but we really can get our hopes that

that high because these release dates

could be other things now for one that

November one that's coming out next year

there's a very good chance that release

date is for Venom 3. there was a report

a couple of days ago before this Sony

announcement that said Venom is looking

for an October 2024 release and that's

kind of in this ballpark range but if

it's not Venom 3 fans are also noticing

why did Sony specifically name this one

Untitled Sony Marvel movie and named the

other one Untitled Sony Marvel live

action movie that's a little weird a lot

of us have been dreading that maybe the

March 2024 release date for Spider-Man

beyond the spider verse isn't going to

happen and they'll have to delay that

movie November 8th could be maybe the

new release date at least it would still

come out next year so if that happens I

wouldn't be that sad about it going back

to the 2025 release day you also gotta

think Sony has so many spin-off

Spider-Man movies in the work it is

crazy they have the El muerto movie

which is the Bad Bunny as a rest Alert

in the Spider-Man world there's even

reports that they're looking to film

that at the end of this year which I

still can't believe they're going to do

that movie we have the Donald Glover

Hypno Hustler movie based off like the

relatively unknown villain in the

Spider-Man universe we have the

Spider-Woman movie coming up we've been

told there's maybe a live action Miles

Morales movie coming genuinely so many

things in the Sony Spider-Man universe

your guess is as good as mine if I had

to put like money down and take like a

real bad guess on what's gonna happen

I'm going with Venom 3 for that November

release date and Tom Holland Spider-Man

4 for that 2025 release date the last

thing I'll end off with with this Sony

Spider-Man universe talk here there's

been a photo floating around from Craven

the hunter the first R-rated Sony

spin-off Universe movie where it gives

us an idea of the pre-craven costume now

fans have been going crazy about this

going wild acting like this is the final

design for the craving the hunter suit

when I'm like guys this is technically

An Origin movie it's a prequel to

craving the Hunter her of course he's

gonna have some like BS looking

pre-craven suit I mean we're about to

get three Venom movies in and he still

doesn't have the white spider we're

getting to the point where fans are just

accepting Venom can be Venom without

that white spider and that kind of hurts

my little heart so really it doesn't

matter to me this just lets me know

there's a craving the hunter trailer and

it's coming very soon y'all where is it

but that is all the movie news we
