Shraddha Kapoor is an Indian actress and model who made a name for herself in the Hindi film industry. Her nickname is Chirkoot, and she was Born on March 3, 1987, in Mumbai, India. Shraddha Kapoor's father, Shakti Kapoor, is a renowned Bollywood actor who has acted in over 700 films. Her mother, Shivangi Kapoor, is also a former actress who appeared in a few films in the 1980s. Interestingly, father Shakti Kapoor is a Punjabi and, mother Shivangi is a Marathi. They are a total of two siblings in the family, the only younger brother, Siddhanth Kapoor is an Indian actor, and Director.

Shraddha Kapoor comes from a family with deep roots in the entertainment industry. Her maternal grandfather, Pandharinath Kolhapure, was a classical singer, and her aunt, Padmini Kolhapure, is a well-known Bollywood actress, who has acted in several successful films.
