Every single best VPN candidate claims to be the absolute best VPN - the safest, fastest, most reliable VPN option out there. But there’s no “one for all” solution. I’m gonna cover 7 of the best VPN picks – the pros, the cons, and assess if they’re truly worth it.

------------------

🗻 NordVPN - 100% reliable & best VPN in all categories ➡️ https://cnews.link/get-nordvpn_432/

Let’s start this best VPN list with one of the most established VPNs. Due to their focus on security and the fact that there are highly customizable features I’d actually put Nord as one of the best VPN for PC options. There’s also a pretty big server fleet, a modern interface.

🦈 Surfshark - one of the cheapest VPNs ➡️ https://cnews.link/get-surfshark_333/

Surfshark is on my best VPN list for a few reasons. I found a proper kill switch and a Multi-hop feature for a double VPN connection, as well as a dedicated IP option. In addition, the Surshark Nexus update is fighting any data leak possibilities. Functionality-wise, it’s among the best VPN for Android picks. I can enjoy the exclusive GPS spoofing feature. Surfshark is also among the cheapest VPN services out there.

🔎 IPVanish - VPN with great speeds ➡️ https://cnews.link/get-ipvanish_75/

Another best VPN provider candidate is IPvanish. In terms of the VPN experience itself, IPVanish apps are pretty easy to navigate. There’s a nice server fleet to pick from, and a map to find what I need. Plus, their speeds are on par with the best VPN options. Overall, the Windows version is their strongest app. IPVanish is a good best VPN service choice if you just want good protection and fast speeds.

🍏 PureVPN - constantly audited for security ➡️ https://cnews.link/get-purevpn_15/

This best VPN contender introduces a very nice unique, user privacy-focused thing - an Always-on audit policy. They also implemented the Wireguard tunneling protocol to remedy their previously not-so-great speeds. While I wouldn’t say PureVPN is the best VPN software there is, it’s a very valid option, at least for those who are looking for a super cheap VPN with lots of servers (6,500!).

okay let's start this best vpn list with

one of the most established vpns out

there nordvpn i found a clean privacy

policy and honestly one of my favorite

things about this guy is the ram only

based servers they're physically

incapable of retaining user data which

kind of solidifies their no logs claim

privacy and security are kind of the

main themes with nordvpn too

all the basics are there i can connect

to a vpn server quick and easy and then

i also have quite a bunch of extra tools

at my disposal here i can access the

double vpn servers or the onion over vpn

feature for some extra security

assurance but it makes my connection

extra slow too

you win some you lose some

however without all the additional

security layers the speeds are pretty

great i'll give them that with a

baseline of around 300 megabytes a

second i ran a few tests and i didn't

notice a difference while connected to

the closer servers connecting to more

distance servers is usually slower so i

ran a speed test on the japanese servers

as well but the numbers remain solid and

i didn't experience any buffering even

when testing netflix japan either so in

general streaming works pretty well no

matter if you want to browse foreign

netflix libraries or watch bbc iplayer

outside of the uk

now i did have a few error messages

especially with netflix but reconnecting

to a different server usually fix things

right up okay so the general stuff works

how are the apps themselves though i'd

actually list nord as one of the best

vpn for pc options there's a pretty big

server fleet a modern interface and

plenty of other customizable things like

two types of split tunneling for example

and there's the standard stuff like an

ad blocker with obfuscation capabilities

their mac app is pretty packed which is

quite rare for a vpn truth be told just

make sure to get the mac os app from the

app store and not their website the web

version lacks nord links you know the

more modern and faster tunneling

protocol and also the kill switch can

get a little wonky it only works for

specific apps but i didn't encounter

these problems with the app store app

now nord is not the cheapest vpn out

there but it's still more on the

affordable side especially with their

longer term plans also you can always

save a few bucks with exclusive discount

deals which hey i got a few for you and

yeah i left them in the description

below feel free to check those out when

you decide to get yourself a great vpn

alright so anyway all in all i'm liking

the direction nord is going in

increasing security in different areas

and not just rushing into it either now

i'm not only talking about the vpn but

about the whole flotilla of nord

security products like their password

manager because that's the thing nord is

not just a vpn service it's a whole

security company take a deeper look at

surfsharkvpn one thing i always address

is their jurisdiction and some users may

have concerns about it the netherlands

is part of the 14 eyes alliance and it's

an intelligence sharing country so

should you be concerned well not really

as far as jurisdiction goes it's

important to assess if the provider logs

any data and if so what kind of data

honestly i don't have any concerns after

looking at their privacy policy surf

shark doesn't log user data and even if

they wanted to they don't have the means

to do it yep thanks to those ram based

servers once again to the rescue i love

them and their app features only add to

the privacy and security i found a

proper kill switch and a multi-hop

feature for a double vpn connection as

well as a dedicated ip option

additionally the surfshark nexus update

is fighting any potential data leak

possibilities by putting all of

surfshark servers into a connected

network it's also bringing tools to

combat cross-site tracking like the ip

rotator

so as far as the vpn performance goes i

also got some great results when testing

around 270 megabytes for download speeds

which is great for casual browsing again

the speeds you're going to get are going

to depend on the server and its distance

but the drop-off percentage should stay

about the same speed wise the biggest

download decrease i got was only 23

percent i got great speeds even when

testing in the far away lands of

australia it even unblocks the

australian netflix library and well from

recent testing surfshark actually

unblocks the most netflix libraries out

of any vpn on this list so

hats off to you guys for that

with all of these features i'd expect

high prices but surfshark is actually

among the cheapest vpn services out

there and functionality wise it's among

the best vpn for android and best vpn

for iphone picks as an android user i

can enjoy the exclusive gps spoofing

feature and while iphone users don't get

anything exclusive they do get a solid

well-rounded vpn app with things like a

proper kill switch and a built-in ad

blocker all important stuff

okay but maybe surf shark doesn't quite

hit the mark for you for whatever reason

so let's bring up another best vpn

provider ipvanish

first of all their jurisdiction the us

of a doesn't exactly shine but ipvanish

went through an independent audit to

prove their no logs policy so can't hold

that against them everything else is

pretty standard here there are no ram

only servers no super advanced security

features so gosh what else sets ipvanish

apart well that my friend would be in

performance

now ipvanish might not always win

against other top vpns in a speed race

the closest server didn't show

spectacular speeds just a solid wire

guard based result but when testing more

distant locations oh i was pleasantly

surprised now it might be due to the

lower server loads but if you often need

to browse through far away locations

then this one might actually be one of

your best options

and while i tested speeds i ran

streaming tests too ipvanish didn't

unlock netflix japan but it got me

through to libraries in canada and the

uk bbc iplayer also worked but it didn't

get through to the zone amazon or disney

plus so

i guess there's room for some

improvement huh

in terms of the vpn experience itself

ipvanish apps are pretty easy to

navigate there's a nice server fleet to

pick from and a map to precisely find

what i need and there's also one

specific feature that makes my life so

much easier on demand it connects me to

a vpn service with pre-determined cases

like whenever i jump on public wi-fi so

in my humble opinion the windows version

is their strongest app while the mac

version is not super customizable and

the mobile apps lack some things like a

dedicated kill switch but overall

ipvanish isn't the very best vpn service

out there but it's a good choice

especially if you just want good

protection and fast speeds

alright next up is purevpn this best vpn

2022 contender has one very nice unique

thing going for it an always-on audit

policy and that means third-party

security companies can just

spontaneously perform an audit and check

their no logs claims that is a fantastic

step since in the past

they did have some issues with handing

data over to authorities

and improving their privacy policy is

not the only thing purevpn did they also

implemented the wireguard tunneling

protocol to remedy their previously not

so great speeds during my test it didn't

show the fastest performance out there

but i'd say purevpn falls somewhere in

the middle with decent speeds that will

still be suitable for browsing and

streaming

now while you might not be able to

stream platforms like disney plus with

purevpn it does handle bbc iplayer and

the us netflix library since they have

over seven thousand plus servers i'd

expect them not to struggle with many

streaming platforms

so yeah streaming is not their strongest

suit but there's even one more thing

that bothers me a little more some

features don't even work when i'm

connected to the wireguard tunneling

protocol for some reason like split

tunneling or the dedicated ip option

hopefully they'll just patch it and fix

it all up in the future

also i'm not liking the fact that split

tunneling is only reserved for android

users while most other vpns already have

it as an option on their windows apps

but in general the apps are nice and

neat simple enough to navigate even for

beginners and on top of that their

pricing is one of the most affordable

options out there i wouldn't say purevpn

is the best vpn software there is but

it's a very valid option at least for

those who are looking for a super cheap

vpn with lots of servers oh and speaking

of not paying too much yeah let's take a

look at iva cvpn it has a solid no logs

policy and operates within the singapore

jurisdiction

it's not a 14 eyes alliance country but

i would still like to see at least a

third party security audit it's nice to

know that the no logs claims aren't just

you know vapor anyway while reviewing

the app i found a very solid amount of

servers in a surprisingly large amount

of locations that's nice but in my

humble opinion iva c could put a little

more focus on the user experience

instead because it is not the easiest

app to use the interface could use some

work like for example i have to

disconnect from the server before i can

change the location and the same goes

while tweaking the settings come on

now as i said it's quite cheap so yeah i

guess you get what you pay for right but

with performance i've see vpn speeds are

all right they implemented the wireguard

tunneling protocol like every other vpn

on this list so naturally the speeds i

got were pretty good

way better than what they had with the

open vpn protocol good job

but despite the performance results

ivassey streaming capabilities aren't

great apart from us netflix and bbc

iplayer i could not manage to unblock

anything else

just like with purevpn even the amount

of servers ivasey has i was expecting a

bit more in terms of geoblock streaming

options

but hey it's not all disappointing

there's one thing that i actually like

to talk about with this provider their

secure download feature it concentrates

on the data that you're downloading and

monitors it for anything potentially

harmful so if you're somebody who tends

to download stuff from questionable

sources

not me of course

well this might save you from a lot of

trouble

well this might save us from a lot of

trouble

otherwise iva see vpn has a ways to go

so unless you're on a very tight budget

it's not going to be my first

recommendation that said atlas vpn might

be a better option from this

budget-friendly providers list while i'm

not particularly fond of their usa

jurisdiction i'm not that stressed about

it either they have an audited no logs

policy

then when looking at their app well it's

nice and neat especially the mobile

versions the kill switch works properly

i also found split tunneling on android

devices and some other standard stuff

like an ad blocker there's also safe

swap their ip address locator just like

the one surfshark has an atlas was

actually the first one to implement it

so props to them for pushing the real

innovations

but what about performance is it a fast

vpn oh yeah it's got the wire guard

tunneling protocol and on average i got

about eighty percent speed retention

which is pretty impressive

that means no buffering when streaming

and yes this one actually works well for

streaming i was able to unblock 114

netflix libraries and got through to bbc

iplayer but sadly the zone didn't budge

come on design

overall atlas vpn is a great choice for

beginners it could also be considered

the best vpn with a free trial there is

a free version but it's very limited so

i can only recommend it as a trial or as

a way to just get baseline vpn

protection

now let's go ahead and just sum this

whole thing up for privacy focused folks

my best vpn recommendation is nord

thanks to its solid privacy practices

and an abundance of features surf shark

is going to satisfy those with a smaller

budget while also bringing a bunch of

useful features ipvanish is great for

those who just want solid all-around

protection and there are a few super

budget friendly options to pick from but

my personal choice being atlas vpn

alright i hope you found what you needed

in this best vpn 2022 list if you're

looking for those special deals click

that box on the side and no matter what

you do i'm gonna see you in the next one
