know IPTV is completely illegal in most

senses there are forms that you can buy

online that are basically illegal to

some extent right like they allow you to

watch unauthorized content that somebody

else is rebroadcasting for a fraction of

UK organizations they're basically a

brand protector they use a lot of Scare

Tactics okay so you can see here illegal

streaming could cost you more than you

think right they do a lot to try to

deter you and they've done a lot to try

to prosecute both either developers

Sellers and stuff like that and I want

to be clear if you're a seller of IPTV

like it's your own risk you're you're

you're risking money for possible jail

time so what you're doing at the end of

the day if you're rebroadcasting

something it is copyright infringement

there's no way around it now as for the

end users it is a totally different

story and it really does depend now it

seems like after the most recent sting

fact and the West Mercier police who

were the ones that helped with the sting

operation are planning on doing door

knocks on people that were using this

service because they now have this

information and we'll talk about how

they have this information a little bit

so if you want to protect yourself I'll

pretty busy lately like there's a lot of

crime going on in West Mercia uh because

also take these people to court which is

so so petty and I've said so many times

this is just not the way to deal with

this there's better ways to deal with

people consuming content at a cheaper

price than to threaten end users that

like make 40 Grand a year you know what

I mean now uh one part of this article I

found really funny was one of fact

statements that they gave to torn freak

and I'm happy Torn Free kind of checked

them on this a little bit so I'll read

this first statement up here the overall

theme of the announcement is that

consumers of pirated streams are far

from innocent that's right you are a

deadly criminal according to fact

unauthorized activity can lead to

lengthy they had to use the word lengthy

prison sentence this is part of that

scare tactic in my opinion now they did

Millington were sentenced to a total of

16 months in prison for watching

developer but the fact that they they

put that in there just tells you they're

people are like oh my God I can't use

tracking your location well they use

your IP address your IEP address is

basically your digital location and also

some of these users might have flat out
