think as a club it's necessary to be
honest
you know we we do respect every
competition we play in but
if you would have asked us this time
last year would you want to finish fifth
we would have all said no and same again
now would we want to finish with next
season no we want to be winning the
league we want to be challenging and
being entitled races and in Champions
League football so you know to not be in
that next season is disappointing and it
shows we had a disappointing season even
though we finished on quite a high it
was yeah it was a disappointing season
so
um no like I said we respect every
competition but we want to be playing in
the early competitions year in year out
it's just consistency I think
throughout the season we had good
results against the big teams but we
dropped points and and sloppy points
um away from home especially so you know
those are the things that we've all
naturally thought about you know we need
to correct we we know how to win we know
how to win the league we know how to
challenge City and go Toe to Toe with
them and you need to be near perfect
throughout the season
so for us that's that's where our heads
are no one knowing what we need to do
and going and applying that and doing
that top players I think um exciting for
the club exciting for the team
um you know it is always exciting when
we sign new players to to you know to
see how they come in and and how they
adapt and what they're like and I'm just
you know sure they they already know we
can see from the outside they're all
welcome inside welcoming team and it's a
good dressing room and um you know you
come in do you wear and
um you know get results that's all
that's all we ask of players is to buy
into what we do and buy into the plan
and um don't be willing to to work hard
and sacrifice for the team so I'm sure
that the lads will do it and on top of
that to you know technically excellent
excellent players who can receive the
ball and and play with the ball so you
know for players like me you who enjoy
passing all the dream players I had them
