Jon Romero discusses the importance of finding the right places to play and how it has now become the artist's responsibility to market each show and sell tickets. He says he views strategic touring as the most important thing that an artist can do because it’s where they “make those first true connections” with fans, which is so important because of the changing music industry landscape where the artist is responsible to market their shows and sell tickets.
