iOS 16 bypasses VPN when connecting to Apple services

This video shows that iOS 16 does not tunnel all network traffic in a vpn connection. For some apple services, iOS ignores any established vpn connection and sends network traffic directly to apple servers. In addition, iOS skips the DNS settings of the connected vpn and uses the iPhone's default settings instead. We used Wireshark to capture the network traffic and highlight the connections that bypasses the vpn tunnel.
