A rare weather pattern is setting up through next week. Multiple rounds of severe storms with damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes will be possible through at least Sunday. An intense heat wave will send temperatures soaring into the triple digits across the Southern Plains into next week, with heat index values in excess of 110 degrees Fahrenheit. I also breakdown the tropics with Tropical Storm Bret moving into the Caribbean this weekend.
