Omi in a hellcat is a major YouTuber and business man most known for running gears reloaded IPTV service. This service had a major following and was bringing in close to 200k a month. However it looks like all of that has finally caught up. The judge has decided his sentencing and amount of funds owed. It might not be what you expected.

so the flex King himself on on me

oh me in a Hellcat has been sentenced to

over five years in prison and honestly

it's not nearly as bad as I thought it'd

be now if you don't know him he was one

of the biggest IPTV resellers slash kind

of created his own service

um that was in the United States he was

making somewhere in lines of two hundred

thousand dollars per day and the amount

of subscribers you need to make that

kind of money is a lot and you can do

the math on how much that would be a

year but he was making the big bucks and

he's well known for uh flexing the money

online right like he had a crazy car

collection all of this

um but it all came crashing down in 2019

and today we're going to be talking

about what exactly he was sentenced to

how much time he got

um and you know everything really about

the case now if you're new to the

channel hit that subscribe button right

down below give this video a big thumbs

up and let's get into all this

information on homie on me okay let's

let's get it okay so this is the guy

we're talking about today he's not just

uh IPTV reseller whatever he was

actually a YouTuber before now I don't

know how big he was before the IPTV

stuff

um but his YouTube channel is pretty big

right like it's mostly just like uh

wealth thirst traps where you're just

kind of flexing and just like daily Vlog

stuff and uh [ __ ] like that it it's it's

really not it's just your classic like

damn look how much money I have which is

fair you know they got the guy clearly

has done pretty well for himself

um so he has a bunch of stuff going on

here

um but I want to start by noting that

like this guy even without the IPTV

stuff is going to be perfectly fine okay

and we'll talk about how much money he

had to pay back as well but he's done

pretty well for himself as you can see

here so let's get into uh the case today

so back in 2019 okay he was basically uh

shut down his service his service was

called uh gears reloaded

um a lot of you might have heard of it

at some point it was very big in the the

US even in Canada I knew people that

were using it so clearly this was a

service that was being used by probably

hundred thousand plus people a month

um and that obviously equates to quite a

bit of money

um so let's get into the case today

so previously they said that he could

get up to 500 years now obviously you're

never going to actually serve 500 years

and I'm going to talk about my opinion

on that in just a few minutes but let's

start with what he got so instead of the

15.5 years that the U.S government

called for uh he got just over five

years it was something like 67 months

around that line

um so yeah just over five years nothing

too crazy but he's also on the line for

what looks like 11 million in

restitution but most of that is actually

already paid for money that was seized

and he will owe more money to the to uh

tax as well so the IRS and that's

something I want to mention first it's

his biggest crime like always was not

paying taxes okay that's just the honest

truth

um the ipdb stuff whatever [ __ ]

corporations like [ __ ] their cable their

cable subscriptions I don't care about

that at the end of the day uh they're

not paying taxes is the one that they're

going to get you on that's the one that

the the government really care is about

now the TV providers were claiming close

to 167 million in Damages and I'm

assuming that's just taking the amount

of people that's subscribed and you're

just saying hey this is how much a

subscription costs this is how much the

average person spends this is what you

were taking out of the market right so

they're saying 167 million now that's

obviously an estimate because a lot of

those people aren't going to just go buy

cable even if they don't get his service

right but I I get where they're coming

from with that

um so with money already seized there

was a hearing 2 30 p.m this was around

two days ago uh with the judge and uh

even uh Omi himself uh said that the the

the the the the sentencing was very very

fair okay so he's even admitting hey I

got five years I'm gonna be out in two

or three which he will be because you

know I don't know what kind of prison

you're going to the U.S has some some

[ __ ] up prisons

but

um you're only gonna get so much time

with something like this right uh and

you're gonna be out early it's a very

non-violent crime uh it's a very uh

really you're not hurting anybody with

it and that's something I want to break

down with this case is

people think and I know it's not just

the government that this is such a

horrendous crime but in the grand scheme

of things it's really not you're not

hurting anybody you could say oh you're

hurting these corporations these

corporations make billions they're

a-holes they're the ones that want to

maximize profit they're the ones they're

the reasons why this industry exists

okay they're the reasons why he was able

to create something like this because

they're so greedy with their pricing and

I'm not just talking about a little bit

greedy they're very greedy with their

pricing one company sets the tone every

company follows and that's how uh it's

kind of anti-competition competition

where the more competition is supposed

to make things decrease but instead

they're just like nah just come in come

in just keep your price the same and

we'll all just make our money and that's

really how things work here so for me

sure a few years I think is fair more

for the tax evasion than the actual

crime of copyright now I do understand

you have to put some time on that or

else people are going to feel uh

embolded to do the same thing right and

I think that totally makes sense to me

but for me this is a a very non-violent

crime so let's get back to the article a

little bit here

so even he admitted uh that it was fair

now how much money is he gonna have left

he might have some money hidden it's

completely possible but they have seized

his car collection

um that was back in 2019 I don't know

how many he has now maybe he bought more

back

um I'm sure he has other Investments it

also sounds like they're seizing

multiple properties in Philadelphia so

that's uh that's obviously a pretty big

deal

um I'm assuming maybe some investment

properties whatever

um but what he does still have he has a

few years in prison

he's got a big YouTube channel which

actually gets pretty good views right

like 124k 94k 157 so he's getting 100

000 views of video plus a video not

uploading that often so he's making a

little bit of money there I don't know

how much

um well thirst trap uh cpms are on

YouTube but I'm assuming it's not bad uh

but on top of that he also sells stuff

on his website so he has a website I'm

assuming he does okay on this

um I was kind of peeking it earlier and

I was gonna buy a pair but uh I I can't

justify buying these Nike ass look at

this [ __ ] bro these are Nikes with a

lightning bolt for 200 bucks

come on man

come on bro come on bro come on at least

go the lamelo round and try to do

something a little bit different damn

this [ __ ] uh look at this they even got

the the Freddy

foreign

oh my God

oh no

oh it's so bad yeah I'm sorry man I'm

sorry listen I'll respect all respect

not great not great but anyways he's got

some shirts and stuff like that so I I

think he probably does okay off of this

so him himself is gonna be fine and the

question you really have to ask yourself

is would you risk

five years in prison three four years in

prison to create a giant wealth for

yourself

um and a ton of money

maybe right I think a lot of people

would if you could tell them that hey we

can get you out of low income

um you know poverty out of uh middle

class we would do it

and you know that that's just kind of I

think the the moral of the story I guess

if that's what we can call it but that's

everything for today guys thank you so

much for watching comment down below

what you think of the time he got and

what you think of the guy himself I

don't actually watch his stuff so let me

know thanks for watching and I'll see

you in the next one
