“A DATE - tells the story of how an unexpected friendship could change the lives of two strangers who are separated by culture, tradition and their languages. Karthik and Monisha who never should have crossed paths in their lives, have been brought together by fate itself and set them to go on a journey that changes the course of their lives in a single day.

Monisha, born and brought up in Delhi, betrayed by her own love, got stuck in her past relationship and struggles to move on, meets Karthik. A south Indian, simple, happy-go-lucky person, who is a traveler by passion, loves to explore the world, meet new people and learn new things.

When Monisha meets Karthik, they fight and try to depart. But something keeps them together. Soon Monisha is drawn towards Karthik’s passion for his travel and fascinated by his attitude towards people and their culture. Karthik takes Monisha to a whole new world she had never experienced before and shows lives that she never knew existed. He makes her realize what she lost in her life due to her past. Her lost passion for photography and her freedom.

When her past life comes back to haunt her again, will Karthik be able to stand and protect Monisha from the miserable life she tries to escape from? Can Monisha choose between being a slave to her past or the new found love with Karthik? Is she even ready for another love? sets the rest of the story.

This is not a love story. But a story of Love, Betrayal and an unexpected friendship.”

Shot in 25+ locations in & around Bangalore city, Karnataka state. Made by team of 5, this movie deals with deepest human emotions that could happen between two strangers.
