S. Iswaran charged: A round-up of the day

Former transport minister S. iswaran was handed 27 charges by the court on Jan 18, including corruption and obtaining valuables as a public servant. READ MORE: https://www.straitstimes.com/iswaran-cpib
This comes months after an investigation into him by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (cpib) was made public.
iswaran said he is not guilty and is focusing on clearing his name. The case is adjourned for a pre-trial conference on March 1.
