A woman was hit by a car during a police pursuit in Los Angeles and managed to walk away without serious injury.
Police say the driver carjacked two different people before leading officers on the chase. An officer rear-ended the suspect, trying to get him to pull over but the driver swerved onto a sidewalk and took out a street sign.
He then entered an intersection and opened his door when he was hit from behind by the officer again, sending him careening into the woman, who was crossing the street.
