I'm fascinated by the over 700 comments in 24 hours since posting. And so many agreeing that the lump in the driver footwell was a deal breaker for them too. It's a major flaw on a vehicle that has huge potential. And while its got several other flaws, I would feel excited and challenged to overcome them. And I think I speak for thousands of prospective buyers; I'll stay away until its fixed. I hear that the lump was in the design from day-1, and the engineers were warned about it wherever they tested it, even with LHD drive cars! (I have my sources) They either ignored the advice, or had no work-around. My guess is, the latter is the truth. Could this decision be the difference between success and faIlure of the Grenadier? I look forward to a Mk2 Grenadier. I just hope it survives to be seen.
