Published May 27, 2023, 3:20 a.m. by Liam Bradley

As a vegan, I often get asked what I eat when I travel. People are always surprised to learn that there are plenty of delicious and easy vegan snacks that are perfect for on-the-go! Here are 5 of my favorite vegan travel snacks that are sure to keep you satisfied while you're on the road.

1. Fresh Fruit

One of the best things about veganism is that fruit is always vegan-friendly! Whether you're snacking on an apple or a banana, you can be sure that you're getting a healthy and delicious treat.

2. Dried Fruit

Dried fruit is another great option for vegan travelers. It's easy to find vegan-friendly options like dried apricots, raisins, and dates. Just be sure to check the ingredients to make sure there's no added sugar or oil.

3. Nuts and Seeds

Nuts and seeds are a great source of protein and healthy fats, making them perfect for vegan travelers. I like to pack a mix of almonds, cashews, and pistachios to have as a snack or to add to my breakfast or lunch.

4. vegan Jerky

vegan jerky is a great option for those who are looking for a hearty, protein-packed snack. There are plenty of delicious vegan jerky options on the market, so you're sure to find one that you love.

5. Popcorn

Popcorn is a great vegan snack because it's light, airy, and easy to eat on the go. You can find pre-popped popcorn at most grocery stores, or you can make your own at home using an air popper. Just be sure to avoid any popcorn that's flavored with butter or cheese.

Whether you're looking for a healthy snack or a tasty treat, these vegan travel snacks will hit the spot. So next time you're packing for a trip, be sure to include some of these delicious options!

hi guys so we are in Hawaii right now

and we actually tried to film it Center

on the beach though super windy they

were already evident yeah we're doing a

video in collaboration with iron today

and we are making vegan-friendly

cold time exactly eating on train times

are savory we're no luck so we made

trail mix yes we made all of these

recipes actually for flight to Hawaii

excuse me so we thought it was perfect

timing for us to record the recipes that

we're making and share with you guys

because it's summertime I'll give you

some ideas for you guys I'm gonna click

on your road trip your plane ride all

the recipes can be found down below and

all the products we found on Eire calm

yep and the cool part is they're

available and 160 different countries so

yeah so wherever you are you can

definitely try out these products we did

recipes as well as a product idea that

you want to just order something and too

lazy to make anything and another cool

thing

everything can be filtered to vegan so

you can just click this yeah that's

actually what we did to figure out what

to bring you all the options right there

yeah so let us know if you guys like

this video give us a thumbs up and yeah

let's get started so first up is our

Creed Trail Mix and this is our healthy

take on a trail mix with veggies and

cashews so first off we're going to

start off with cashews and you're going

to pre roast these in the oven prior to

flavoring them so you just going to put

them in an oven at 400 degrees for 8

minutes in the meantime you're going to

put together your seasoning for the

cashews so you have some fresh lemon

juice and to that you're going to add

some maple syrup or coconut nectar or

your choice and then some salt turmeric

cumin curry and a little bit of cayenne

pepper and just whisk those until

they're smooth and once your cashews are

roasted you're going to toss those in

and make sure you wait till they cool

because you'll burn your hand but toss

those in and get everything that falls

out like me and just evenly coat them

then you're going to place them back

onto your lined baking sheet and back

into the oven for about 4 more minutes

pull your caches completely and add them

to a clean and dry bowl and to

you're going to add three drives veggies

so these are the key ingredient here you

can add one or two bags depending on how

many you want and you're just going to

fill up a jar

seal it keep it in a cool dry place and

you're good to go

next up is my easy peanut sauce with

veggies to dip we're just going to start

off with some peanut butter you can

choose smoother crunchy I chose crunchy

and to that you're going to add some soy

sauce or liquid aminos some maple syrup

and sriracha or any senior choice some

cilantro ginger and garlic powder some

water and rice vinegar and mix that

until two and all that's left to do is

put your veggies in a reasonable pouch

or container and put a lid on your sauce

and you are good to go

Xbox is my absolute favorite Chris's

chocolate banana peanut butter ball

recipe you guys gotta get ready for this

you start off with some peanut flour and

to that you're just going to add a touch

of water just enough to make it into a

dill like consistency you don't want

this to be peanut butter consistency

because then you're going to get it and

roll it into about keep occasionally

sized balls and continue doing that with

all the dough until yeah you're done and

then place that into a freezer for about

an hour

next up you're going to need a food

processor into that you're going to add

some rolled oats and my favorite item

for my herb is dried mulberries I'm

addicted some chia seeds cacao powder

and freeze-dried bananas make sure

they're freeze dried and not banana

chips and they're going to run this

until it's uniform and then to that

you're going to add your medjool Z and

then you're going to run that again

until it's smooth and added a little

water because when you did some helps

blending just depends on the moisture of

your dates but what you're looking for

is a dough like consistency just like

this you can speed this together and

form a ball you're going to get a

tablespoon size scoop and you're going

to flatten that and fill it with your

peanut butter that was in the freezer

I'm just going to roll it around it and

continue doing this with

all of your dough until all those peanut

butter balls are covered and then once

you're finished this is completely

optional but you can roll them in dry

coconut even chia seeds anything you'd

like but I chose coconut I love the

commo and I just want to recommend it

and when you take a bite just look at

that ahh filled with peanut butter so

all that I did is put it in a glass

container seal it up and I brought it

along playing with me next up is our

carrot cake bars we actually created

this inspired by our carrot cake cookies

and first thing you're going to do is

mix some chia seeds with water and

you're going to set that aside for 15

minutes to thicken and this is going to

be your chi egg next you're going to mix

together your dry ingredients so I have

some rolled oats peanuts flour some

baking powder cinnamon baking soda and

salt

and some walnuts and you can mix that

together until uniformed then in a food

processor going to add some rajul dates

some applesauce vanilla extract and some

apple cider vinegar and you're just

going to process that until smooth then

you're going to add in all of the dry

mixture and you're going to run it again

until that's smooth and then to that

you're going to add your Chia egg and

also some shredded carrots and don't do

what I did and try to mix it in a food

processor I definitely recommend you add

it to a large bowl so add all the mix in

there and knead it with your hands to

make it uniform and then you're going to

add it into a lined baking pan and press

it all in there I use my hands but then

I ended up using a spoon to make it

smooth and it works better then you're

going to bake it in an oven at 350

degrees for about 22 minutes and once

it's cooled put it on a cutting board

and then just cut it into your desired

size of bars so I cut mine in half first

and then I cut it into small bars and

once it's all cut up you can add it to

any reusable to-go container that you

want and you're good to go

so next is a banana blueberry oatmeal

Cup and this is super simple all you

need is a glass jar and to that you're

going to add some quick oats and make

sure you add quick not rule because we

cook way faster and added chia seeds

some powdered peanut butter and also

some coconut sugar which is optional and

freeze-dried fruit so here is key so I

added bananas and blueberries and you

just seal that up add hot water when

you're ready and it's good to go

and for premade snacks you have these

big brown rice snaps they're oil free

low in fat and baked and they have

really simple and awesome ingredients

perfect if you're craving something

salty next for something savory we have

these minestrone cups just add hot water

and you have a meal on the go super

quick super easy and super delicious and

then for your sweet tooth we have these

choco crunch sprouted cookies just four

simple ingredients for an awesome snack

and of course we have to add some

bananas into the mix here literally just

dried bananas perfect snack and all of

these can be found on IR so we hope you

guys enjoyed our recipes let us know

which one you like the best yeah comment

down below and let us know if you guys

want to do more videos like this not a

lot of fun and yeah so thank you so much

iron for collaborating with us on this

video and see in the next one
