TorGuard VPN Twice as Fast as Windscribe? Oof!

today I wanted to do a speed test

between windscribe and tour guard VPN

first up as always you know here on the

channel we do a live speed test here is

a windscribes VPN connected to the best

available location with wireguard which

is their best protocol so let's go ahead

and refresh the cache and the page and

go ahead and test we're gonna be doing

Seattle servers for this test since that

is the best approximate location for us

and see which one of these vpns is

faster either windscribe or torguardvpn

alright guys so maybe this will help you

decide which VPN to choose if you want

and do it again to see if we get any

live speed test result as you can see

we're still connected and everything

like that here's tour guard it is not

currently connected not messing anything

up as well we are getting a little bit

better results than the last time this

can kind of be results of just uh doing

a speed test a couple times to make sure

but we're looking around around 400

which is okay I might get that around

3.5 to add a 5 for my speed results not

the fastest VPN not the slowest so

overall those are okay speed results and

we'll let this finish out as well

alright guys so it's going to be around

150 for upload let's turn that off and

directly connect the torque art VPN just

like with winscribe we're using

wireguard in the Seattle server and

we're going to refresh the page as well

just to see you know make sure

everything is fair with the cash and

refreshing the page page so we are

connecting now to tour guard give it a

second

there we go let's go ahead and refresh

the page

and see what kind of results we can get

now without VPN on I should be getting

around a gig however

um usually I get around maybe seven to

nine hundred is the perfect kind of

speeds that I can get if VPN can give me

those speeds that's exactly what I'm

looking for this least amount of

degradation we can get is exactly what

you want ideally anywhere between five

to ten percent is a sweet spot for a VPN

and let's see and that is performance

there so as you can see torguard is

clearly beating winscribe in this

comparison with my tests and throughout

the years this has always been the case

as well I remember even a couple years

back I was actually talking to the CEO

of onescribe we had a conversation we

were doing speed tests and uh yeah we

were I was showing him some live speed

test results and going back and forth

and I don't know what it is but

tourground has always just been the

faster VPN so if that helps you decide

between tour guard and winscribe perhaps

take that into consideration just as

climber I'm not an affiliate for

um but I am one for tour guard but as

you saw in this video there's no editing

fairly at all

um and that was a live speed test and
