welcome back to the channel and today

our friends at Super box are back and

they have sent out their S4 Pro this is

an IPTV box made to completely

disconnect from your current cable

provider and watch some free TV for one

price of the Box itself but this

actually comes in at 329 USD and you

have access to not only a bunch of

different channels but this also acts as

a streaming device as well so Netflix

Hulu things like that will also be here

now you do have to pay for the

subscription the course but the TV part

of it is what is the attraction so we

want to open this up and see what's

inside and again I've had a lot of

different S4 products or excuse me super

box products on the channel we did the

S2 the S3 and the S4 and there's a

couple different changes it's largely

the same as the S3 but there's been some

minor improvements like the UI the

different theme on the interface so

there's a couple different changes but

if you have an S3 you may want to watch

this video first before you commit to

buying the this so like we said this

have inside the box here so of course

you get the IPTV box itself it never has

been too big I do like the size of it

here not too bad on the quality you do

have a couple different connections here

you have a TF reader here USB one and

two a reset button as well it's on the

back of your DC in your IR Blaster if

you'd like to add one to there an AV

input HDMI Lan and then the spdif input

here like an optical cable of some sort

and then some vents for breathing now

you guys may know this the Dual antennas

here so there is an increase on Wi-Fi

speeds give you the best playback when

you're streaming services and you're

streaming your live TV you need to have

the best bandwidth possible to make sure

you get the best resolution possible so

we have dual antennas here for those

needs now that you provide you an HDMI

cable in here I believe this is 4K ready

so that you can watch your 4K streaming

services and as good a TV as possible so

you do have probably what looks to be

maybe a three foot cable inside the box

there and then of course you have your

power brick here with the DC outlet on

the other side

now the remote is largely unchanged as

well so we have all the buttons that

we're going to need to communicate with

this is also a microphone type of remote

so you can press that blue button there

and speak to the S4 Pro and navigate

your menus and get around it a little

bit easier a little bit faster so I

always like this remote it has enough

buttons on there you can program things

to set your app set your favorite TV

channels you can record things on this

it's really nice so pretty good size not

too big should fit in the palm of most

people's hands if you're having any

trouble at all they do of course provide

you with an owner's manual click start

guide get in there see what things do

and how to navigate them now their

customer service is really good so if

you do have any questions you should be

able to email them on their website and

get any of your questions answered if

you need typical support they have that

available as well so there are two main

questions I usually get when I make

these videos one is that how do these

things even get free TV how does it work

and then the second question I get all

the time is is this illegal well let's

start with the first question how do

IPTV boxes work well it converts

streaming signals received by the

internet protocols so it takes in TV

signals essentially and brings it to

your screen so that's how they pull TV

from usually around the world so many

different stations now is that illegal

the answer is no it is not illegal

because these services like super box

for example pay for the copyright so

they purchase this themselves so they're

not infringing on anybody or anything so

you can watch this safely and not have

to worry about the cops knocking on your

door all right so now that we've seen

the accessories and gone through this

little box itself let's head down to the

house into the theater and let's plug it

up see what we got inside all right guys

we are in the theater and we have the S4

Pro fired up plugged into the Samsung

projector really easy setup once you

plug it in the first thing you're going

to do is agree to the terms and

conditions like always and then you're

going to add your Wi-Fi or your land

connection once you've done that this is

what you're greeted to these are the

menus very similar to the S3 Pro just a

little bit nicer and this is an Android

based system meaning that you can

download apps just like you would on a

phone or a tablet from the Google Play

Store you guys see the bottom middle of

your screen so this is how you download

YouTube download Netflix Hulu Disney

plus all those apps that you want to use

you can download them from the play

store but let's get into the Nitty

Gritty we want to talk about that live

TV you guys see the big rectangular icon

on the far left corner of the screen

live TV it's not enabled right out of

the box there are a couple steps you

want to do to get your live TV when you

first power on your S4 Pro you want to

go to the blue square that says App

Store this is the S4 App Store not the

play store so the first thing you want

to do is click on the blue App Store

icon and it's at first going to ask you

to download the store it's not

downloaded yet so when you click on it

it'll ask you to download it and install

it once you do you can then click into

there and you're gonna see the App Store

itself it's going to load up and these

are the apps that you can download onto

your device different from the Play

Store there are two apps that you know

you want to download one is blue VOD and

the other one is blue TV and maybe even

blue the playback but blue VOD and blue

TV you want to download these are the

two apps that are going to give you the

live TV so I have it downloaded already

and once you have it downloaded you can

actually go back to the home screen and

click on live TV

and this will now show up blue TV and

blue VOD if it doesn't you can go to add

and you can add blue TV in blue VOD make

sure it's added to your list and now you

have access to live TV so I'm going to

click on Blue TV here and what you're

going to see is a channel list of all

channels that you are probably familiar

with with your cable provider see how

quickly that it loads up on my fiber

Wi-Fi I highly recommend it so I have AE

ABC News ABC West AMC and it's all

alphabetized you can go and see all

sorts of different TV now I'm gonna try

not to get copyrighted so I'm going to

fly through this but you can watch

Cartoon Network you can watch Bravo you

can watch things overseas things in

America whatever you want to watch your

CMT so it's all listed out for you in

channels and it's actually really nice

at the bottom right corner you can see

how quickly your Wi-Fi is getting this

information so you can get the best

picture qual quality the faster your

Wi-Fi the better the the signal will be

the better resolution you'll have

there's hbo2 we'll click on that and

you'll notice that on the right side of

all of these titles are stars you can

save your favorite show save your

favorite channels whatever you want to

do here's MTV so there are tons of cool

things in here so I'm going to go back

let me get out of here hit confirms we

right there real quick blue VOD I

haven't done this one yet let's look

inside of here and see what's inside of

this one so it looks like a lot of

different things here movies TV series

all that good stuff so check this out

can go through and see a lot of

the Covenant mother White Men Can't Jump

and then of course what's showing new

and then as you watch things there'll be

some recommendations here go back to

your history and watch what you really

like to watch so it's really easy and

simple to use we'll hit the home button

and now we're back to the home button at

the bottom you have the add icons here

you can add your favorite apps you can

add blue TV here Netflix YouTube

whatever you like to watch a lot you can

add it here so a really easy system to

use I've did the review on the S3 Pro a

couple years ago and I thought it was a

fantastic tool to watch anything you

want to watch TV related movie related

streaming services really easy and this

is an expansion upon that there aren't

too many changes between the S4 and the

S3 they just made some quality Life

Changes making the interface look better

maybe things response better some

quality of life changes so I really like

the S4 Pro and again there will be a
