humber’s Sport Management advanced diploma program prepares you to manage the business of sport.
You will develop a thorough knowledge of the structure and functionality of the Canadian sport industry including specific responsibilities and governance structure of organizations, rules and regulations governing sport, coaching standards, tournament hosting and scheduling, and sport sponsorship development. You will also learn the practical, organizational, business, human resources and administrative skills needed to pursue a career in the industry.
Courses are designed with industry collaboration, ensuring the program is current and relevant. You will learn from full-time professors, managers and directors of sport organizations. Classes are diverse and include guest speakers from organizations such as Maple Leafs sports & Entertainment, Tennis Canada, Ontario Basketball and various games organizing committees. The program also includes field trips and practical training.

level I joined the sports Band program
because for me I love sport it's been in
my background for such a long time and I
think it really opens up a lot of doors
and a lot of ideas of what I want to do
for my future coming in I thought like
your job is in sport would be like a
coach or a general manager or a trainer
and turns out there's like endless
amounts of opportunities there's
hundreds of different aspects you can
get involved with Sport and this gives
you a little feeling of a lot of it so
that you can really decide okay I want
to go this path or I want to go that
path within sport if it's working for a
financial sport organization or a
national sport of body or down in the
minor leagues and recreational right
there's all sorts of different aspects
of that Humber makes the best place to
do this program because of their
Athletics I'm a scholarship student here
for the softball team and Humber is one
of the best colleges in Canada to play
sports and that is where you're going to
get the most effects for sport
management I think the best thing that
the the Humber sports management program
has taught me is that it showed me how
to turn a passion into a career
opportunity and from here I can kind of
see where I'm going to head after this

related so a fan an athlete just even
business then this program is definitely
for you and to be connected with your
