Kodi (XBMC) - Super Simple Guide to Setup TV/IPTV Streaming and Update Channels

this is a super simple guide to watching

TV shows streamed the codis built in

client software I'm going to show you

how to set up the client add a channel

listing and then if the channels ever go

bad show you how to find new channel

listings now let's get started select

system TV under general select enabled

to activate the TV functionality

Cody will automatically recognize that

you don't have any add-ons enabled with

the TV functionality selecting ok will

bring up Cody's built-in client software

select PVR IPTV simple client select

configure

under m3u playlist URL add this

pastebin.com URL copy paste this from

the show notes below to make it easier

uncheck cache m3u at local storage

select ok

select a navel now the add-on is ready

to go next step is to restart kodi for

it to recognize the TV stations

what's Cody has restarted you have a new

home screen option called TV under TV

select channels now you see your list of

channels from the pastebin.com URL to

start any of the channel simply select

the channel and it'll automatically play

selecting the channel again we'll move

to fullscreen

unfortunately channel links tend to go

bad over time so in this guide I'm going

to show you how to get a new channel

list from the pastebin comms website

in the browser type in pastebin.com

in the search field type in IPTV select

one of the IPTV links

choose the raw button

copy the URL back in Cody you want to

update the client channel listings go to

the home page select system add-ons my

add-ons PVR clients

Peevy our IPTV simple client configure

under general tab select m3u playlist

URL copy the paste bin comm / raw URL

select ok make sure you restart kodi so

that the channel list can load

after Cody's restarted select TV

channels and you'll have a new list of

channels available to you for easier

navigation a lot of the TV channels will

break the channels into groups as you

can see this channel listing breaks down

USA news TV movies and sports channels

select any of these to filter the

channels

now you know how to set up your own TV

streaming service using Cody's built-in

software to watch any TV network you

want
