hey guys with the insane amount of

hacking attacks against not only large

companies but also unfortunately tons of

private individuals nor the VPN reached

out to me to make a video talking about

why you need a VPN these days and also

sponsor pretty sweet giveaways so thanks

Nord VPN you guys are a half a cup okay

so I've never really been much of a

tinfoil hat or even though I have the

close friends who are although they'd

probably call themselves woke I call

them paranoid seriously one of my

friends the type of guy who puts a piece

of tape over both the front and back

camera on his phone anyways I've never

really been able to justify using a VPN

until recently so here's five reasons

why I need and think you need a VPN to

reason one side for millions of

malicious websites around the world

tracking and logging your IP and

browsing data your internet service

provider does too and then sells that

data to marketing agencies or just hands

it over to the government of asked and

that's not cool there's been times where

I was curious about something that could

easily be misinterpreted as really shady

and if anyone knew I was browsing and

searching for these things I might get

myself put on a list which you know

would really really suck so how do we

prevent any of that from ever happening

while still having the freedom to search

for or download whatever the hell you

want well obviously you use a VPN

because to put it simply it encrypts the

data going to and from your computer so

not only can outside parties not see

what you're downloading or browsing for

your ISP has no clue either reason -

another issue with ISPs where a VPN can

and will come in handy as for those ISPs

that like to throttle your data when

you're consuming a lot of bandwidth like

when you're streaming for example so if

your ISP can see that you're streaming

from Netflix you know YouTube or Amazon

video for example they might throttle

your connection speed resulting in

crappy image quality with a VPN it'll

mask what you're using your data for and

redirect it through alternate route so

your ISP is automated system doesn't

raise a flag and throttle you pretty

sweet huh reason 3 lots of schools and

workplaces have internet restrictions to

certain websites or keywords in place

some of them make sense some of them are

just ridiculous however you install a

good VPN on either your phone or

computer and you can bypass those were

friction is no problem and as an added

bonus you might get a little kick out a

break in the rules

reason for public Wi-Fi and especially

hotel Wi-Fi is like no man's land a

couple of months ago I went on a trip

and wanted to do some online banking at

the hotel I was staying at just before I

logged onto my bank account I thought to

myself yeah this probably isn't a good

idea so I had to use my phone's mobile

data instead even though that's still

not nearly as secure as it could be but

if I had a VPN at the time I could have

fired it up and done my thing with peace

of mind and reason five accessing

websites and content that's restricted

from your ip's region location is a

bunch of BS and shouldn't even be a

thing but it is so let's say you're

visiting another country and want to

watch Netflix but you can't get any of

the shows you normally watch when at

home because those shows aren't

available in the region you're visiting

just launch your VPN choose the server

that's located in your home region and

fire up Netflix job done seriously it's

that easy

now there is plenty of other reasons for

using a VPN I mean I could easily turn

this into a 45-minute video but I think

for most regular folks like you and me

those are probably the most justifiable

reasons for needing a VPN anyways if you

are looking for or maybe already have

one but are looking to switch VPN

services I actually found Nord VPN to be

one of the best out there which is the

only reason I agree to work with them

they got PC Mag comms editor Choice

Award was rated 5 out of 5 on SEANET and

received the best VPN 2017 award from

best VPN com

they've got apps for every major OS

including phone use computers routers

and a bunch of other devices I've never

even heard of before nor VPN also used a

256 bit military-grade encryption comes

with Nord view cyber sect technology to

help block ads and malicious websites

that host malware trackers spyware or

other malicious software which is pretty

dope and they do double VPN so that your

data actually gets encrypted twice

before reaching its destination and the

apps have this neat auto kill switch

feature where you can add an app to a

list and if for whatever reason the VPN

connection dropped from save hide server

load Nord will automatically block your

device or app from accessing the net

from outside the VPN tunnel and

that's pretty damn cool Nord VPN also

gives you the option of choosing what

type of server you want to connect to

like anti-ddos dedicated IP servers

those double VPN service I talked about

you can even use the onion network over

VPN from maximum privacy so go check

them out if you want or need a legit VPN

service I'll have a special link in the

description you can click with the

coupon code that'll get you a nice

little discount now about that giveaway

nor gpn was feeling pretty generous so

if this video can get to 500 likes we've

got for $25 Google Play or iTunes gift

cards to giveaway to four of you lucky

buggers all you got to do is leave me a

comment telling me what your favorite

Nord VPN features and make sure you

subscribe to the channel and that's it

as usual I'll announce the winner on

Instagram and Twitter so make sure you

follow me on at least one of those but

not about Justin for this one guys

hopefully I didn't leave you too

paranoid if you liked the video show me

some love with that like button and if

you're new to my stuff don't forget to

subscribe to you videos every week but

thanks as always for watching everyone

and I'll talk to you on the next one

Cheers
