on a brand new season of my top five

morning guys and welcome back to

my channel welcome back to another vlog

you know honestly I think I've been

surviving vlogtober by doing all the

content that I can do from a sat down

perspective because it makes it 10 times

easier whereas when a vlog is involved

it just takes up so much of your time

and so much editing that sometimes you

never even get around to doing it if you

know what I mean like there's so many

elements I'm going to Vlog you need to

Vlog your whole day what you do what you

get up to

and at times that can be extremely

tiresome so I am really tired okay

finally got my nails fixed yesterday I

was supposed to Vlog that but I really

don't want to because it's still like

more or less the same thing that I do on

a daily daily basis but

I decided to Vlog and to be really

honest with you I'm feeling so groggy so

sluggish so tired and that's because I

took two sleeping pills yesterday so I

was at work yesterday I was at conka

doing my job as per usual and I came

back at one o'clock in the morning

I was so exhausted so hungry

and essentially I

I didn't really get to you know eat

while I was on set so I was just feeling

very fatigued as soon as I got home

I made some eggs with Avo at two o'clock

in the morning yes yes yes my addiction

to eggs is getting worse with the day I

made two eggs and some apple and I went

to bed

telling myself I went to bed around

three o'clock because obviously there

was a lot of Red Bull in my system so

the Red Bull I was it wasn't wearing off

so I did get into bed I did kind of

struggle to fall asleep and then I was

up this morning so obviously it ends the

extreme tiredness

but yeah today

um is going to be a very simple Vlog I

don't know if I might take you guys with

me uh to do like some birthday shopping

because there's a friend of mine whose

birthday is in about two days

and I want to go see if I can try to get

him a gift I want to go chicken like

Hydraulics or something

but um y'all I want to go get this

camera fixed and hopefully go do my hair

so a lot of you guys

if you follow me on social media you

will notice that I've been wanting to

kind of change my hair for some time now

kind of make my uh try braids

um I don't know if I'll get time to do

them today obviously because braids do

take some time but I do want to find out

if it is possible for me to do braids or

some sort of braiding hairstyle today if

not I will go tomorrow I'm gonna see if

my lady is available because a lot of

people suggested like Zumba hair salon

you know they suggest the things that

are so far out for me like in the North

and stuff

and honestly I don't want to have to go

that far if I know a lady the side in

the South whom I've trusted with my hair

for some time I would want them to try

and let me know if they can do this

hairstyle or not and another thing with

braids is that the the hair piece I get

so if your Casper it's seen next

time but

um anyway I want to try upgrades for the

first time so I don't know if we'll be

able to do it today

but I will take you guys with me to see

if we can do today then we're doing it

today

but anyway let me drive um first of all

I'm going to put food right now I'm

going to a meeting with this upcoming uh

brand uh kind of like esthetician Clinic

they really wanted to kind of work with

me on a couple of projects so I'm gonna

go meet with them now and hear what they

have to say so yeah I'll talk to you

um so I'm here I'm walking in I'm a

little bit late I'm hoping that they can

be very forgiving of that

just to give them a heads up that hey

dude I had a tough time finding their

place only because the address was

giving me next door which is now like a

school called the duvo's it actually

used to be MGI so now I'm walking in

hoping that they can squeeze me in

and just have a quick meeting with them

it's going to be super brief I just want

to get to meet them know who I'm working

with you know kind of know what their

expectations are of me and what I can

obviously provide to them so

it's a black owned company

and it's owned by two black women so I'm

really excited to get to meet them and

kind of know who I'm actually working

with so yeah guys let me get in I have

my meeting as you can see walking in

right now

I just moved in and this lady beautiful

lady right here she's ready for angle

she looks gorgeous I'm gonna steal her

they are such amazing people oh my gosh

this car is so dirty it's stressing the

it's so dirty whoa okay guys so I just

got in the car I'm getting ready to

leave but I just want to say meeting

them has completely changed my

perspective you know when I came here I

wasn't a bit of a Down spirit and then I

got to meet the ladies and I just lit up

again like I just realized that you know

what guys I miss this part of my job

where I get to help another brand you

know kind of get the numbers go where

they need to go like in terms of where

they want to see themselves I miss this

element of my career and it's so nice to

see ladies who are still showing their

kind of appreciation who are still

showing that hey we really love what you

do we really like to work with you and

kind of really valuing what I do because

a lot of the time hold on you know what

guys a lot of the time I think now my

job had gotten to a point where

I was just kind of I don't know I think

my job had just gotten to a point where

working with Brands had become so Stone

Cold like there's this one brand I'm

working with right now and the working

environment has been so horrible like

especially the lady

whom I'm working with they've been so

pushy like everything is so Stone Cold

you know sometimes when they when they

present a brand to you versus like the

brand expectations that's not what it

used to be so

I miss the honesty and the

soft-heartedness of working with smaller

Brands where we all get excited when we

see a win we're already happy when we

see the outcome of what's happening I

miss

like you know the gratitude that I would

get from smaller Brands when they saw

like one new customer coming in and

saying hey dude I saw you on a lady's

Channel and these three ladies

they they just evoked that emotion in me

like where

where I missed helping other brands who

were to value my help as opposed to

working with big brands or probably just

using me from my numbers point of view

I think that's where my passion really

lies in just it's not even the money

aspect it's just knowing I've helped

someone you know

so yeah it made me pretty emotional

I'm even getting emotional now as I

think about it that like you know I just

I just miss this part of my job I missed

this part of my career where

finding small black brand women owned

helping them you know kind of sitting

down developing a structure what are we

going to get out of this and seeing our

vision and our hard work pay off

so they're so sweet because these ladies

they are so sweet I'm actually even

scheduled my appointment for tomorrow so

you guys will obviously see it on the

next Vlog tomorrow they did want to do

like a demo with me today but because I

was under the weather and I still want

to go get this camera fixed in randburg

I was like you know what let me

obviously not waste too much time and

make my way to randburg as soon as I can

so yeah make sure to follow them on

a lot and you guys will be seeing the

um from start to finish on my YouTube

channel because obviously you guys know

I would never want to sell you guys

something I've never tried out and I

want to see if it works on me and I want

helped many other people and a lot of

the pictures they've taken have been

from one session so I just want to see

that the one session will help with me

um I'm so glad that my camera works you

know the curlies we are operating anyway

today's the second day and I'm really

excited because today is the day that I

have my first procedure with the Evian

Clinic that's based in bedfordview

I'm excited I'm nervous I really want to

see the results I know yesterday I came

back home it was very gloomy I gave you

guys a little bit of like an update on

my um

my airfryer but I can't really show you

much yet because I really do want to

have like a separate unboxing for it

kind of really sit down give more about

what's going to happen and yesterday I

just wasn't in the greatest Spirits you

know what I mean so I didn't really feel

like vlogging when I got home I wanted

some mooses I got home I ate some mooses

and I was just like you know what I'm

I'm done I'm not vlogging anymore but

today today I'm coming to vlogging

because I feel 10 times better

um I didn't take sleeping pills I just

naturally try to fall asleep which is

why I think I have more energy

and in about 30 minutes I'm about to go

to Every young Clinic have my procedure

they said it's going to take about two

and a half hours and then after that we

are gonna go birthday shopping for a

friend I'm probably gonna go to sandton

City because that's where they have the

hydraulics

some of our friends clothes are

experience you know what I mean like

some of our friends clothes are

expensive look I'm not gonna buy him

anything too hectic but it is his

birthday

um tomorrow so I really would like to

get him something nice this Vlog will

probably go up on his birthday I just

want to give him a nice gift you know

I'm really big on gifting so yeah so

in some coffee and then talk to you guys

mentor has been since blocked over began

initially when I positioned this video I

was sitting because the lighting before

obviously it started raining and while

it started getting dark

the lighting was looking 10 times better

from that way I wanted to end this video

but about how vlogtober has been on like

my mental state right

so

I've been

tired to say the least

you know I'm one person who believes in

giving you guys a real-time content

right I know I look I look crazy why am

I wearing a sporty in the house that's

because I was wearing it to begin with

you know

but

honestly vlogtoba has been a great

experience but it's also kind of been

very

taxing on like my mental Wellness in

terms of a lot of good things have

happened this October but then also hold

on I guys I tried I tried look my lights

are fairly dark like my house is fairly

dark because it's like components of

like Browns and whatnots and you know so

okay

um

I'm gonna have a quick chat about what

my mental state has been like since I

took on Vlog turban

and honestly

it's been

taxing to say the least taxing

taxing in the sense that it's been a

great experience you know vlogtober

requires a whole lot of mental and

emotional preparation because you're

releasing a video every single day look

I mean you can obviously prepare

in advance once you prepare for it you

don't really have to suffer the

consequences of what I'm doing right now

but when I'm someone who generally

enjoys uh Vlogs in real time I don't

enjoy a vlog that she recorded three

weeks ago and it's coming out now

especially if

I follow you on social media and then I

see it three weeks later to me doesn't

it it just doesn't correlate for me but

some people are okay with that and

that's perfectly fine

um there are some people whose content I

watch even though I saw the content that

they released on their socials like a

month ago but I'd still watch it but I

don't necessarily like it because it

doesn't feel like it's something I've

never seen before

so

yeah it's been emotionally taxing

mentally texting alongside the fact that

I am working on not one but two TV shows

yeah guys I I really I I

don't want to say anything until the

show actually premiered on TV or at

least until the promo dropped

but your fave got another TV show so now

I have two TV shows

been the greatest blessing to be able to

search out and know that my career is

taking such a different but exciting

turn in the sense that

I've always prided myself on being a

YouTuber I've always prided myself on

being a digital content creator but it's

nice to know that there's another

potential Avenue for me that might

completely change the scope of my career

as a whole right

but also in the same breath

it's been emotionally challenging

alongside the personal issues that I've

had nothing too bad look I'm not even

gonna cap guys I've been focusing on

work work work work the thing about

vlogmas and blocktuber is that I

completely cut everybody out and I focus

on me well I focus on my subscribers

those are the people that come first

during those two months vlogtube and

vlogmas I don't what's the word

compromise because a lot of that time in

the other months I will compromise some

days I won't release in four days and

whatever and I've always told myself

that I would develop a schedule but I'm

just one person as a creative I don't I

don't really enjoy working on schedules

I'm not someone who enjoys working

Monday Wednesday Friday and Tuesday

Thursday Saturday like no I released

when I want to release and if I want to

release five videos in that week I

release and in that week if I'm

releasing two videos

what is that shot

that's right

so

I've enjoyed vlogtoba this month because

I really feel like I committed to it yes

I I have said back just a little bit

like I'm behind five six videos but I'm

happy with the progress that I've made

this month as opposed to the other

blockchain but that I did and the other

vlogmas that I did because I don't feel

like I really committed

excuse me as much as I have now oh

updates I've been taking so much dumps

since I've came back from ever young

they did say that I would experience the

urge to pee quite a lot but I've been

taking so many damps and I think

I think right now in in one sitting I

think I've went to the traded Thrice and

like not just like go to the toilet but

like I've been sitting on the toilet

like scrolling on Twitter also in the

same breath kind of like you know

but yeah guys I'm really grateful for

October I think it's come with a lot of

blessings but it's also come with a lot

of strenuous activity of campaigns at

work it's this it's this I never really

get a chance to rest a lot of people are

feeling like I'm really isolating myself

but I've been choosing myself and I I

don't I don't feel bad for that under

any circumstance like I just I don't

feel bad for it at all

I just feel like

I wish I could catch a break you know

um

for many reasons

um

I'm just tired

but for something a long time and I'm

tired and you know someone made this

comment saying oh when you do something

you're passionate about you go back to

work a day in your life shut the [ __ ] up

you work dog you work you're working for

the rest of your life because it's the

one thing you're passionate about is the

one thing that's making you an income so

of course you have to work to make sure

that you never go broke you know

so

I'm exhausted I'm exhausted I'm really

oh my God this flower is giving me so

much

I'm exhausted I'm feeling

I'm feeling a little bit demotivated

like there are some days I wake up and

I'm just like I don't I don't want to do

this

but then I'm just like oh my God it's

the promise that I made to my

subscribers like you know if

don't do something if you're gonna wake

up one day and decide that you don't

want to do it anymore and like I also

call it a pet peeve and this is

obviously not to shade any other content

creator you know because hey dog we all

we've got problems all of us okay

but I just sometimes don't like when

people don't adhere to like the essence

of things like don't adhere to luxury

about vlogmas but then like in blocktube

I only really set five videos

in vlogmas and and then title them as

like blocktube and vlogmas like don't

get me wrong

look I think we're all different in that

way you know

um

I I can't judge people for not releasing

at the rate that I'm releasing but as

someone who watches other content

creators as from a subscriber point of

view so like I'm completely removing

myself as Melody the Creator and I'm the

lady the subscriber to Eva's Channel and

I see in in a week like only a video is

released by this title of October I just

get the ick I get the X so bad because

I'm just like [ __ ] I want a video every

single day you know

so sometimes I feel like I overwork

myself

sometimes I feel like I have really high

expectations

um sometimes I feel like can I actually

do this but then I tell myself I can I

can do this you know

so yeah I'm just in a very weird place

right now I'm just in a very weird place

oh no not in regards to like vlogtobas

like in regards to me personally in a

lady

there's just a lot that's going on right

now there's a lot of people who are

feeling like

um I'm not really devoting time to them

and I'm really sorry but like

my career comes first

my career comes before England's

feelings my career comes before anyone's

opinions my career comes before anyone's

anything really like this is my career

this is what I fought for so you can't

come to my space and I expect me to

change parts of myself because it's not

really connecting with the person you

knew like a month ago or two months ago

like

this is who I am when I work okay

and it's also making me question if

is it the right time for me to be in a

relationship right now

you know I've played with the question

in my mind for weeks four weeks where

I'm just like

God is oh I think if I sit back

God is really Blessing Me Right Now with

a whole lot of career opportunities but

those career opportunities forced me to

choose between

being a selfless person that I always

was so being like naledi being very

selfless or okay maybe the head must sit

like this

or being selfish and saying you know

what I want to do this for myself

because this is for my future and this

is what I want and this is what I see

myself in a year's time

and I see a lot of people that I I

care about and connected with kind of

falling off because

we're not mentally connecting when it

comes to that kind of you know

and I've even seen quite a lot of people

just want to be very selfish with me

like they want to be selfish with their

time when it comes to me and I'm just

like I'm not interested period

I'm not interested but any advice to the

YouTubers are doing vlogtoba it's not

easy guys it's really really really not

easy like I I commend

um YouTubers who are still kind of you

know pushing even if it's not every day

like even if I'm gonna get peeved as a

subscriber as a subscriber to your

channel I understand from a content

creator point of view how difficult it

actually is and how much it takes out of

you you know

and that's another thing I want to tell

my subscribers who are also like jumping

into YouTube and feel this need to wanna

perform at these excessive levels

another thing about me is that I'm very

tough on myself I'm hard on myself

excuse me I'm trying to have a very

personal conversation with my

subscribers

okay so [ __ ] me huh

I don't know if um you guys will be able

to hear me now but

yo don't be hard on yourself you know

um

vlogtoba is honestly something that

requires a lot of preparation you know

it's it's it's it's it's not going to be

easy YouTube in general is just not easy

and I want people to jump onto the

platform but I understand when people

have their reservations and they have

their fears like I've gotten a lot of

emails from people who are just like

hey I really want to jump into the

YouTube space but I feel like I'm not

brave enough I'm not courageous enough

I'm not this I'm not that and I'm just

like it's okay to feel like that because

nobody ever feels confident enough to do

YouTube You're exposing yourself to a

whole lot of criticism you're exposing

yourself to a whole lot of negative

potentially negative energy but you're

also exposing yourself to a community of

people who might get along with you

you're also exposing yourself to a tribe

of people who might be really connect

with you you know I don't want you to

lose sight of the good because the fear

is kind of overwhelming you know

so yeah this is where I am

um the fatigue is really like hitting me

that's why when I record I can record

three four videos in a night and then I

just edit and release them over the

series of days

but yeah it's a lot guys it's it's a lot

it takes a lot out of you but it's

totally worth it when you get to a point

where

first of all the AdSense is worth and

I'm laughing I'm not for the cap like

I'm not gonna cap that since in October

is with it

I will tell you guys at the end of

October how much I've made from October

I was gonna do that video and let you

guys know how much I need

but I'm gonna close this video off

because this rain is getting stronger

for reasons being that I really like I

said I want to give you guys Vlogs know

what I'm doing in the day of some days

are a lot shorter than others but

today's just one of those days where I'm

going to work so from the last thing

that we spoke about on this particular

Vlog is that

um I have a new show

I don't really want to say anything

about it before the promo actually

launches but like I said if you follow

me on social media then you would have

seen that I am obviously shooting a

brand new show on the the home channel

the only channel That Matters channel oh

baby let's get it let's go oh yeah

so I'm shooting on I'm shooting another

show for channel so I've asked you

I've asked I've gotten a new presenter

show

Grill that's a big restaurant it was

really nice people used to come here
