seemed to make him happy anymore

and once the drought hit he needed me on

the farm

not on the ball field

but i wasn't going to set my dreams

aside like my dad had

i wanted to play in the majors

maybe even find my way into the hall of

fame one day

no matter what it took

i would fight for the life that i wanted

the life that i knew would make me happy

the victim is in critical condition do

well the suspect is a juvenile and we've

individual has been charged with dui

aggravated assault with a motor vehicle

investigation and when will you be

releasing more information deputy as i

said we have a full investigation

the coney county sheriff's department

will make no further comments until

we've completed a full investigation

media apparently the victim's a highly

regarded individual in this town media

paramedics stated that milton had to be

cut from his seat belt

which means he was wearing his seatbelt

at the time of the accident

now here

due to the improvements in seat belt

safety thank goodness

we rarely see these types of injuries

when victims wearing seatbelts

especially when wearing them properly

it is almost impossible for milton to

sustain

this type of blunt force trauma to the

head and arm

in this accident

the milton did

not sustain this injuries in the car

accident

it is very likely

these injuries were sustained outside

the vehicle

prior to the truck entering the ravine

has

radial nerve palsy

or wrist drop

now radial nerve palsy is a neurological

condition that causes

curved or bent fingers

curved wrist

sometimes

in certain cases it can be corrected

with surgery

often it is permanent now i just want

you guys prepared for everything

milton has one of the more severe cases

that i've seen

that's just my opinion but

it's likely that milton will have

limited function of his right hand for

the rest of his life

that's milton's pitching arm

oh for god's sakes we just buried his

father

severe arm injury

that will require extensive rehab and

most likely surgery
