for someone who gets something new for example we can tell someone who has a new haircut

Congrats on the new haircut or on the new car or on the new job

This is a kind of unique blessing for new things in Hebrew that as I said can be said about a very large

variety of things many times we hear the same about

Clothes, congrats on the new clothes and so on

So here we have two more things to understand first Clara is Rona's dog

And Yehuda says he brought kabanos it is a kind of sausage that can be found in supermarkets in Israel

and in fact Yehuda brought it as a snack to the dog, Clara

Here again we have two words from Arabic and I mentioned one of them in the video about the words

which came to Hebrew from another language

So this first one is "Walla" that in this case it expresses wonder at something

That Yehuda did not know had happened he did not know about what happened to Clara

so he says "Walla" , meaning, I did not know about that And the second thing is "Bassa"

which is also in Arabic which expresses disappointment or sadness about something that happened

Here Yehuda says "Oy va voy" which is a pair of words that comes to us from Yiddish that it comes to show

sadness or amazement at something bad that happened

We say it on something not good There is by the way a British band by that name too

And the last thing that Rona says to Yehuda is "I am vegan"

That means she does not eat any animal product, no meat, no milk, no eggs, no honey

so she says to Yehuda that she will throw the kabanos in the trash
