the aisles putting their creativity to

the test we've chosen to go out to prove

to their judge if there's some of

YouTube's watching you're watching DIY -

today we are getting two of the

craftiest people on the internet the

opportunity to compete face to face in

the DIY - challenge our first contestant

is known for his adventures blog style

videos but let's see how he does under

the DIY pressure Luke come on out hey

guys what's up I'm ready to get crafty

my name is Luke or Luke horns and I make

my life pretty fun our next contestant

is a fashion and beauty youtuber and I

cannot wait to see what she comes up

with Natalie come on out girl I'm so

excited to be here but Luke you're going

down that's debatable

you'll see hey guys it's not only Tasha

also known as Natalie Tasha Thompson

from YouTube and I create beauty and

fashion videos I hope you guys are ready

because there's no DIY show like this

one you don't even have to up your game

or you'll go down in flames

Luke and I go way back and he's pretty

competitive but I think I got it in the

bag for your first challenge you'll be

creating a phone case amazing enough to

go viral

I love virality a viral phone case but

there's a catch you're only allowed to

grab three items from the store and you

have to use them in your craft three

items that's it really however you will

be allowed to use two items from the

Handy strap boxes I will provide you so

you will both start off with two minutes

on the clock to go shopping but here is

your chance to gain some additional time

by answering this DIY question correctly

trivia - oh God in cave in glass I love

to be displayed make sure you don't drop

me or else I will break

I like to be a picture at a pitch art

art wait art dealers well you're given

that you said like the first no you said

yes oh my gosh yeah

Natalie you won 30 seconds to your two

minutes to go shopping so what do I do

in the meantime think about my failures

going into the shopping around we have

Natalie in the lead with two minutes and

30 seconds and in second place we have

Luke with two minutes

ouch okay so I'm gonna give you guys

some plastic phone cases these are not

included in the three items that you

have to shop for you better be grateful

because I never give anything out okay

this is the first time I do this

now I know it seems simple but I want

you to go crazy I want something

creative and if it's not gonna go viral

I don't want to see it it's a lot of

pressure that is a lot of pressure that

went viral so me all right Natalie we're

gonna put two minutes and 30 seconds on

the clock

ready set go my first thought for viral

phone cases I mean I don't even know I'm

freaking out I don't have enough time

what's going on right now I've never

been in a store before I'm just gonna

have to run around and figure it out

okay I have no idea what I'm gonna need

um there's some colors here well how do

you even make a good phone games with

those paint

maybe sharpie or something but these

aren't like we're coming up on two

minutes

Ready Set I go okay I don't know what

I'm doing I don't know what I'm doing

what am I going where am I going

we're allowed three items in total in

this store and even just looking around

I'm overwhelmed by pencils I got it I

got the perfect idea

this is gonna work luckily viral I got

viral butter what does she want

what does she know she wants but how did

you know I wanted this this is exactly

what I wanted for my process taking but

I okay okay okay that's just over 1

minute 30 seconds excuse me I'm so sorry

I'm so disrupted I think I think that's

a small invitation definitely

disqualification

so Natalie tricked me she deliberately

tripped me

that customers qualification - okay wait

these are cool stickers whew I know what

I'm gonna do okay

oh you knew that you kids you wanted to

tell me one of the taste one minute was

only a minute left since I have

absolutely nothing a little bit stressed

out here animals of course

okay so there's cats cats are viral

things aren't they I'll just go with

cool paper

that's what love is there's a lot of

options I'll just go this one this one

looks good we got a nice beautiful lady

in the front let's go let's go let's go

let's go oh yes no yes no no I don't

need I don't need it I don't need it

thirty Seconds freaking out now I'm

running out of time get some help please

okay oh god I feel accomplished them

sure I got some stickers and I got a

cave and I got some pretty paper and I

dropped my worker what'd you get it I

got some paper and some totally radical

host cards that I will use okay to their

full extent I'm sorry well I'm gonna be

honest I don't know where you guys are

going with this but I said viral and I

meant it so I'm expecting it so like I

told you guys earlier you won't have

access to the box of scraps in front of

you but you can only grab two items so

choose wisely okay wait I have a

question though I got a pen that I don't

need so can I trade it out for something

else that's in my box I'm in a good mood

right now cuz I just ate but it's okay

I'll let that slide

so Kareena gave Natalie permission to

take something extra out of her box a

little unfair if you ask me three items

from your scrap box but you cannot use

that markers so if you think of

something else and you want to use it

too bad you guys have ten minutes on the

clock

I'm gonna step out and come to check on

you guys your time starts now

oh wait no gosh okay I'm gonna need this

case this is gonna come in handy you

just wait my DIY actually makes sense

from the start so I have to have this I

want to use the glitter but I don't know

how I would gotta think outside the box

that's what we're gonna do outside of

the box sorry oh no I wasn't gonna make

a mirror phone case because I think this

is pretty cool but as for actual

artistic design I'm just having trouble

cutting out this cat without without

amputating some body parts I don't I

hate cats okay well you just offended so

me

I like dogs better I mean I'm not gonna

play favorites here but I agree red flag

this is too small so basically you mean

it's too small you see they're the

perfect size I don't want these little

like flat okay I'm not helping you know

Luke's asking me for advice and help no

but I thought we were working as a team

no oh no I made it too big oh but it

looks awesome

how much time do I have I need a couple

minutes to like meditate my ideas first

five minutes what's your favorite animal

fun you guys have five minutes and you

guys haven't even gotten it on to the

actual because this is so difficult is

so difficult why youtubers do this why

would you take them well I'm a little

worried for you guys but I hope you pull

it together because you're running out

of time so yeah maybe karena it doesn't

really know what I'm doing this my phone

case but I know I know exactly what I'm

doing I have the plan deeply embedded in

survivor hold for your camera Luke well

I don't have time for that this this

glare totally messed up my creative

process it made mine better I wanted it

to be a mirror like yours I like that

idea but it was too hard to spread even

how are you gonna make a mirror out of

glitter because it's shiny right

time's up step away from your project

all right Natalie tell me about your

project what were you thinking well I

made a phone case out of this really

like glittery paper not glittery a

mirror mirror yes so um so you can kind

of like see yourself through it and then

I used stickers to write play because it

was like obviously when you look at

yourself in the mirror it's like

Playgirl Wow two in one yes tell me

about your whatever this is whatever

this is I think it's beautiful don't you

I like the cat I understand that you

prefer dogs or cats right so naturally I

switch the genetic makeup of this cat

and it can talk dog Wow and if you're

talking about virality if we agree that

is a word this would definitely go viral

if a cat could indeed talk like a dog I

think that would go viral my friends but

it's the Corina cannot be falling for

this sure he has a good story but look

at the gaze I love the fact that you use

a stationary cards that's very creative

and I love the whole story about your

cat no but I feel like it's very messy I

don't know what you were thinking with

that glitter I feel like you saw

Natalie's in glitter you got a little

bit jealous

you don't even have a hole in the camera

but A for effort Natalie it's just

really creative because it's basically a

mirror but also a phone case I love it

I did it I won I mean let's be honest we

all knew that one was coming it's a cute

cat I feel like you would have had a

chance if you didn't add the glitter yes

like yeah hers looks way better than

mine and she had the whole style down

paths and she had the aesthetics wired

into everything she was doing but you
