HOW TO CREATE A CUSTOM M3U * TUTORIAL

today's video in today's video i'm going

to show you exactly how you can

create a customized video on demand and

3u list that you can put your sports

your movies your tv shows and make it

customizable in different folders so you

can actually share it with friends and

family now this method is for

educational purposes only a couple weeks

ago i did a video on how i was able to

put the m3u list together and share it

with you guys but due to how many people

i had to take it offline just for a

little bit uh i'm gonna be working on

another project so kind of like the same

method but just on a bigger scale with

uh on custom apps so i'll talk to you

guys about that one later this is going

to be coming for spring but for today i

want to show you how you're able to

customize your own m3u and be able to uh

what does it take to actually create an

m3u and what it what an m3u is so an m3u

is a is a digital form a video file that

that contains music videos uh

photos and stuff like that so a lot of

developers use m3u's to put their movies

on it and be able to share with their

clients but this method it's going to be

100

um 100 free for you guys to use unless

you guys have the only thing that you're

going to have to purchase today if you

guys don't have one is some form of

cloud server dropbox app box um seed box

or even uh open drive this method is for

a smaller scale so if you're trying to

use a cheap you know like a cloud server

or some sort uh depending on how many

users you allow onto your list will

factor in playback if you're trying to

scale this to thousands of people i

highly suggest that you get yourself a

dedicated server i'm not showing how to

do a dedicated server today i'm showing

it to most cost effective and how to get

started with this method so uh go ahead

and get yourself a pen and paper ready

because what you're gonna need today is

a computer pc or a mac is completely

fine you're gonna need to download uh

the video player vlc it's 100 free a

cloud server of your choice i like to

use open drive and or app box videos

need to be formatted to mkv mp4 or mov

those formats will work the best

to get content make sure to use a vpn

when downloading and i suggest

downloading to your content straight to

the cloud server uh also you're going to

need the thumbnails for the movies or tv

shows also

or for sports

i suggest using jpeg or png and then

last and final that you're gonna need is

a script i already wrote out this script

for you guys this script is very easy to

work with this is a basic script when it

comes to m3 use this is something that's

super super

easy for you guys to pick up right away

if you guys have never worked with cody

before or worked with creating

applications this is m3u 101 100 okay

also i wanted to touch on a part before

we do get started with this uh when i

did talk about the things that you're

needing is also the vpn the reason why i

said using a vpn only because if you

were to download the content onto your

guys's computer you're going to be

attaching any type of tracker from that

torrent

onto your ip address so make sure to use

a vpn uh this is not a sponsored video

to uh to make money on vpns there's

there's one in the description below if

you guys would like to use one i suggest

picking one that you guys are

comfortable with i use ipvanish for

myself normvpn is also really really

good so i do suggest and last and final

i promise we'll get started with this

tutorial is that i suggest downloading

the torrent straight to your cloud

server using a bitclient so we'll touch

on that in a little bit but the reason

why i suggest doing it this way the

reason why i want you guys to do it that

way is because that content will never

touch your computer it's never going to

download your computer you take the you

take the torrent you send it right over

to your cloud servers and it just goes

there you don't need a vpn at all okay

and i'm going to show you guys a couple

things here on the computer a little

step-by-step tutorial this is super

simple i hope you guys enjoy it here we

go all right put these guys on so i can

see uh okay so uh the first thing is is

go ahead and downloading your vlc so you

guys can go to the links inside of the

description uh you'll be able to

download it you can just search the vlc

on your device just make sure it's on a

computer pc mac um so go ahead and

download it okay uh so once you have vlc

go ahead and have that open

i'm gonna have this currently open over

here off to the side i'm gonna show you

guys how to create your m3u

another thing that you're going to want

to get is your cloud server so the first

one i'm going to talk about for the long

term for for a little bit better

playback

get yourself open drive open drive is

really really cost effective there's no

limitations when it comes to open drive

opendrive cloud server is super easy to

work with the only the only things that

you can't use is bitcoins to it they do

offer different links for playback so

what let me so when you take your video

file so when you take your video file

and you drag it over here um

you're going to drag it on to your cloud

server and they will say i have just a

couple videos that are in here once you

i'm going to just use this as a as an

example

uh you're going to take your video

file this is my mp4 and you're going to

drag it onto your cloud server and then

this one is already on there would you

like to overwrite it

no

so it's currently right here

you can open this up and show the links

and here is the links for it so you can

play the video back

and it plays back fast so this is

it takes a little bit longer for the

video file to go on to your cloud server

uh but you do need to have it there

hosting somewhere so people can

can't connect uh to it

so i like this one just due to the uh

the way that they do the links so you

can use this one as your streaming link

and then you can use one as your

downloadable link you're gonna use it as

streaming link okay we're going to go

and show you app box i'm just giving you

a rough demonstration

of i'm going to give you a rough

demonstration of another uh way of

getting your client so with open drive

with this open drive you have to

download it to your computer get the

file and put it onto

uh open drive now if you're wanting to

torrent and not download to your

computer i suggest using ultra seed box

or app box i have box uh they're a

little bit more expensive it's about 12

dollars it comes out to but you only get

about a terabyte

it's plenty of space for you to

get the files and then go ahead and

delete i'm going to show you this one

right now

this was completely different what i

like about app box is that you can

download different applications onto

your cloud server so you can download

stuff like file run which we're going to

use today next cloud is kind of like a

dropbox uh you can connect ftp so if

you're wanting to

connect to

an upload to an actual server

this will give you the ftp

ip address with port

and then you have your username and

passcode so you can drag and drop

and use it with like filezilla there's

so much stuff that you can do with it

for your torrent client i use

transmission so what does this mean

you can actually take a

torch so like let's say you want to go

in uh

find a torrent from say you go to yts

you go and you find your torrent that

you want you're going to go to

you're going to go and copy

location

and you're going to copy the link

location and so now you have the magna

file so if you this is a super long

um

and then you can open up your

transmission and download straight to

your uh so this here's my transmission

so now that you have so we copied this

magnet

copy the link location you're gonna go

over to your

transmission and then see or enter the

url you can enter the url right there

and then you can click upload

right there so now now it's torrenting

it's not going onto your computer that's

just another way of actually getting

your torrent so i'm going to go ahead

and end that i don't need it i already

have this movie so this one you don't

have to torrent a client

uh with open drive but with app box you

do

so let's go ahead and let's i just

wanted to give you guys that quick

example let's go ahead and open up our

vlc so let's go ahead and close this guy

i'm going to show you guys the script

that wrote

so here you open up your vlc and we're

going to create our first m3u so once

you open up your

uh

your vlc there's no files that are

currently in here but we need to uh we

need to get it

into a file format so what we're going

to do first so we can actually write the

script into the

m3u so you first step open up vlc

you're going to go ahead and save

playlist to

my

first

m3u so now we just named it the file

format is going to be extended m3u and

we're going to save it right here on our

desktop and we're going to click save

now we have this file right here that is

our m3u this is our playlist we're going

to load it and there's nothing that's

going to do there's nothing that's

that's happening because there's nothing

in it yet so we're going to open it up

we're going to control

click

and we're going to open with a text

editor you can use a code editor or just

even word

any text editor

this will

open up with i use text edit

i'm going to open that with text editor

now we're all inside of text editor

so now we're going to write our script

inside the m3u

we're going to go ahead and copy this

which is inside the description below

this is my code

and you're going to paste it under the x

extn 3u

paste

okay

now let me

share

let me share with you what this means

so we're gonna name it tvg dash name

here's the quotations the quotation is

gonna be

the name

of movie okay

and then there's gonna be a space here

to here needs to be a space

then it's going to be t v g

dash

logo

and then this is going to be your

logo

image and then it's going to be another

space and then this is going to be the

group title so remember i was showing

you the beginning of the video how it

had all the different uh categories well

all these different categories are going

to

be like 2019 movie 2018 movies horror

movies comedies netflix whatever

categories what sports sections that you

want this is going to categorize it so

when you put your movie or your title

name in here uh it's going to categorize

it all into

this folder okay

so

this is going to be your text and this

is going to be

2019 movies so all the 2019 movies need

to have this group title

then after it's going to be a

comma after the comma this needs to

match this so you copy your

movie title and then you paste it so

this will match here believe trust me

when it comes to perfect player and tv

mates all these other applications that

pull the m3u m3u players uh all these

other m3u players um

read it differently so

you need to have it two times

so let's just summer up so it's tpg dash

name and the quotations boom name of

movie

and then you got your logo image so

let's go ahead and fill

fill this blank

okay

so let's go ahead and open up

i'm gonna use app box now that we're in

this is file run now we're gonna create

our uh downloadable link

we're gonna make our streaming link so

we're going to go into our storage

we're going to go into applications

we're going to open up apps

we downloaded all of our torrents

through transmission

we're going to open up the

torrent folder we're going to look at

completed

and then let's go and

open up folder one

let's find a movie that we want to do

we're going to do gardens of the galaxy

we're going to make it

shareable

right here git link

and right here is going to be our

shareable link so we're going to copy

this

so this is our link that's been hosted

on the server

and we're going to paste it right under

under the whole thing

now we're going to name it galaxy 2

we're going to copy this now

and remember we're going to paste it

after that comma remember

boom so now this

in the commas is matching after this

comma

now we need the logo i have all my logos

in this one

so i'm going to go to pictures real

quick

look at all my pictures

i mean you don't need to do exactly what

i'm doing

here's guardians one guardians two

i'm going to get my link

my downloadable link

i just happened to have it i was just

using this as a demonstration but i have

a lot of my stuff already in open drive

so now we're going to go ahead and copy

our logo

now that we pasted our logo make sure

that it is in between those com

those quotations

and then our group title 2000 movies

or we can name

it um

marvel marvel movies

so our group title is going to be all of

the marvel stuff

marvel

movies that's going to be the group

title

okay

so um once you have that

if you want to add another movie

make you take your script

and you post it right under it you can

make the group titles another category

we're going to go ahead and download it

so you can always just save this in

there it's not going to hurt it you can

just do this

script

and then you always copy and paste it

we're going to save

now that it is saved we're going to

close it now we have to upload it to our

hosting okay

so now that our first m3u list is being

is is done

we're going to go over to our video

and then we're gonna drag our m3u into

our hosting

now that it's completed

see that now it's been uh our m3u list

is being uh our m3u is now on our cloud

to where people can access it but you

need to give people a link right so

we're gonna open up the three

create a link

make this downloadable

so now we have the downloadable link

but

you don't want to have someone

write you don't want to have someone

write all of this you want to make it

short so we're going to go to bitdo bit

dot do

enter

now we're going to take that link and

paste it

and then we're going to name it

my first

m3

u okay

we're going to shorten it

now

this is your link

that you can share with your friends and

family once you have a huge list

so now we can copy that

now let's go open up our fire stick now

we can open up our perfect player

wait for this to load

we're gonna go over to main menu

go over to settings

to general

now we're going to add a playlist

so now you can type in your url that you

made with bitdo

bitdo

forward slash

you guys remember what we wrote i don't

all right here we go it's all lower case

so it's always going to be case

sensitive so make sure you have um

you make sure that if it's capital it's

capital if it's lowercase it's lowercase

buy first

and

three you i mean you're gonna make it

whatever you guys want

okay now we're gonna click next

you're gonna name it i'm just gonna

leave it as that

you're gonna make sure that your uh m3u

is um highlighted and also video on

demand is highlighted okay

click ok

now you can click back

click back now it's gonna update the

list

now i downloaded one file now what file

was that that was the one that we that

we created

okay now we're going to go over to the

folders go to video on demand

now look

marvel movies you click on marvel movies

it's got guardians you click on

guardians it's going to play and then

also it has the thumbnail there

you can fast forward it

you fast forward it it's playing

boom you just successfully created your

first step for you just right there

and then you can create your huge list

i'm just going to show you

okay now i'm going to pause that we're

going over i'm just going to show you

that you can make your list fully

customizable based off

it's going to be completely based off

what you categorize your stuff as you

can have fun with it

so now we're just gonna have mine get

loaded i'm now this is currently offline

guys because just due to how many people

watch my videos and how many people

follow me uh it just there's so many

people and you guys are going to

freaking wreck the cloud server i mean i

tried to do it for a little bit for you

guys it's just due to how many people

is just not going to have a good user

experience

so i definitely don't want you guys to

miss out but i am currently working on

something that's new

and then you can make yours

however customizable that you want i

have this currently offline right now so

don't go ahead so we're back here on the

computer because when you do update your

list you have to update everyone else's

list so when you update to say when you

add new content let me show you mine

look at this

this is what my list looked like at one

point

and that's me typing it all in here

when you update your list you have to

update it for everyone else so this is

something that you definitely want to

pay attention to so you say you do

something you add and you add new

categories and you're adding new movies

and tv shows uh you always want to make

sure you go over here

you click

save

once you have it saved

you then would have to re-upload that

list without changing that url if you

change the url

that everyone else that is trying to

load onto your m3u is going to have a

completely different code so pay

attention

here's my itrestream

m3u i have to click on it and then

replace it so you're going to replace

this file

with one that's on your desktop so i

updated it and then you click that and

then you upload it so that will change

the the url so when you uh take it over

to bit.do

once you make one you can't ever change

it so make sure you make an m3u

name

that is for you

that you don't change it so when your

friends and families go and update their

list

with new content that you didn't change

the url uh this is something that i've

been wanting to share with you guys for

a while i hope you guys enjoyed today's
