so let's dive into it start off with a
deal of the day the Fire TV stick the HD
version is on sale right now for 19.99
this is a really good price for a backup
Fire TV stick or maybe you want to get
one for a Christmas present next year
you can stock up now you need a promo
code though I'll pull a link to the
story down below the promo code is in
there you need to use that promo code at
checkout to get this deal but if you
want the Fire TV stick 4K you can get
that right now for 34.99 Link in the
show notes down below for all the
details all right let's talk about IPTV
Services IPTV services are a generic
term for a live TV streaming service
that offers a ton of channels really
cheap a lot of these are not legal with
this and they argue that they are but
increasingly it's been proven in courts
that they're not and that's where one
owner has found themselves in the owner
of Gears TV or gears reloaded it's gone
by both names this week learned that he
will be spending
um time in jail and have to Forfeit 30
million dollars in assets both in cash
and in physical property this comes as
he argued that what he was doing was 100
legal for a long time and he operated in
a gray area we're lost in apply
found out that wasn't true now last year
Congress did make it very clear they
passed new law to clearly point out that
these IPTV services that are streaming
their content without the permission of
the content owners is not legal the FBI
and others have lot argued that no this
has always been illegal under the
copyright
um terms here and the intellectual
property rate terms when it comes to
this content
um he argued he had the right to do it
now the he's been found or end up
pleading guilty and getting 30 million
dollars have to pay back to the cable
companies and over five years in jail
not something that I think a lot of
people want
be careful when it comes to streaming
services there's a lot of streaming
services that will promise you
everything in the sun very very cheap
and often get questions are these legal
or not and for a long time people argued
wow you know it's a civil issue it's a
civil issue well increasingly this has
become a criminal issue and FBI and
other groups have gone after IPTV
companies for criminal charges for this
so keep that in mind I've also heard
from a lot of people not necessarily
with this service but with others that
when they get shut down if you prepay
for a year for example your service is
just gone and you're not going to be
able to use it and you're not going to
get a refund so just be careful when
you're using online
do your research if it sounds too good
to be true like your grandma says you
probably know how that ends but
be interesting to see what happens at
the peak here though he had about a
hundred thousand subscribers paying at
least 15 a month that works out to 1.5
million dollars every month that's a
very profitable business you probably
understand now why so many companies or
people are launching these illegal IPTV
Services because if you could just get a
hundred thousand people that's a million
plus dollars a month every month that's
a pretty good paycheck you can kind of
understand why people will want to do
that so keep an eye on it let me know
have you ever seen these have you ever
been tempted are you less likely to use
them now leave me a comment let me know
all right good news if you're a fan fan
of Major League Baseball and you are a
T-Mobile customer once again for I
believe it's the eighth year in a row
somebody leave me a comment if this is
wrong Major League Baseball will offer
MLB.TV for free now
um there's a couple days you have to pay
attention to if you want to get this
you're gonna have to go in the T-Mobile
Tuesday app between March 28th and April
4th and claim your MLB.TV
um deal this will give you free access
to allow Market games blackouts to apply
for in-market aired games but and also
it's not available for games that you're
on peacock or Apple TV so keep that in
mind but I've been getting a lot of
questions will they be doing this again
there's a lot of people wondering if
they would because T-Mobile launched the
Major League Soccer
um deal that's very similar good news
yes it is back you can get it those are
the dates if you want to learn more
check out the show notes down below I'll
pull link to this there
all right vidgo the live TV streaming
service has been getting a lot of news
recently they added a ton of new content
including the Tennis Channel and over 10
000 on-demand movies and TV shows has
now announced that they've teamed up
with Sony vidgo and Sony have teamed up
um to give Sony TV customers a 30-day
free trial of the service plus it's now
available on Sony Smart TVs this is
Sony's uh I think biggest partnership in
the world of live TV streaming since
they had PlayStation Vue who here is an
OG
and remembers PlayStation Vue it was
wildly popular live TV streaming service
that I think Sony badly mismatched a lot
of people thought you needed a
PlayStation to use it because it was
called PlayStation Vue when you didn't
and I think that really hurt it much so
other bad decisions that Sony made I
could probably do an hour-long lecture
and all the mistakes that Sony made out
with that but
go starts at 64.95 for its English
package gives you over a hundred
Channels with that package it's a really
good deal especially with college
football fans a lot of the college
football networks are in there check it
out but um again if you're have a Sony
TV you want to try a 30-day free trial
something you don't see a whole lot of
anymore is these lengthy free trials or
sometimes any free trial at all
right looking for new internet ATT has a
great deal right now 18t fiber is
offering up to 350 back in rewards cards
basically a little credit card gift card
you can use if you sign up and switch
over to ATT Fiverr details are in the
post but you need two promo codes to get
this you need at checkout to do two
promo codes and you can only do this
deal online not in stores so check it
out if you're thinking about
um switching ATT Fiverr 350 bucks back
is a pretty good deal with that
also if you're thinking about stocking
up another great deal of the day Amazon
is offering 20 off of Amazon basic
products when you pay spend 50 bucks or
more I was actually amazed I found in
there I was looking that they have razor
blades very similar to the Gillette
razor blades I use
and we'll give them a try they're less
than half the price of what gillette's
charging for their razor blades and
honestly I think it's cheaper than most
every
um Razer Blade company I've ever looked
at but it's got that flexible ball I
really like so I'm gonna give these a
try maybe I'll do a review of them over
on the breakdown YouTube channel we'll
see
and lastly roku's get a new CFO Chief
Financial Officer won the top commanders
in Roku is a former Amazon executive
joining the Roku team this will he'll
join in May the current CFO already
announced late last year he'll be
leaving in August so from May to August
they will work hand to hand to make sure
smooth transition but some change up in
the Roku leadership we'll have to wait
and see what happens
that's it for today I hope you have a
fantastic day don't forget to hit that
subscribe button hit that thumbs up let
YouTube know you enjoy what we do here
so YouTube recommends our videos to more
people helping us grow helping us
support our families and hopefully we
can help you break free from The High
Cost of cable TV until next time take
care be safe we'll be back again very
soon
