welcome back everybody so I thought we'd
pop back in today with a quick bit of
news uh regarding IPTV
um if you're interested in IPTV have you
ever considered selling IPTV this is an
interesting article about jail how much
time in jail all for IPTV so it's quite
interesting we're going to go into it
and we're going to move on to the
article and go through it and I want to
ask your opinion on it and a couple of
questions I've got for you so do watch
through before we do that though if you
can do remember hit that subscribe
button if you're brand new here I'm doc
squiffy but this is the streaming Club
where we talk everything streaming
whether it's your devices whether it's
news and we also taught movies and
upcoming stuff as well so let's get
right into it this one is quite
interesting so we're going to get
sentenced to five years in jail but is
run away
that's right they can't find him he made
a run for it so first question if this
was you if you were being sentenced by
PTV would you hand your hands up do your
time or would you make a run for it as
well
quick question that one okay so let's
have a quick look through the article
torment free bring us this one do check
out their website if you want to read
the article further Liverpool Crown
Court is sentenced a 54 year old
reseller of pirate IPTV so it was just a
reseller it wasn't his service he didn't
capture the streams himself he just
restart resold it to five years in
prison city of London Police applauds
the verdict but also causing the public
for help as the former IPTV salesman has
reportedly fled the country with his dog
with his dog as a bit John Wick style
are we offering piracy related Services
a serious offense in the UK for which
several vendors have received multi-year
prison sentences in recent years there
has been a few prison sentences over the
years but there was a key thing which is
similar in all of them which is actually
slightly different to IPTV and seems to
con sort of be a lot some of the reason
maybe why they go to prison we'll talk
about that in a second as we get to it
these sentences are typically announced
by copyright holders or the police as a
deterrent for those who might be tempted
to follow in the footsteps so obviously
the reason it becomes the media they
want to announce loud and clear to stop
other people selling IPTV
okay so the five-year prison sentence
city of London Police have just
announced that Liverpool Crown Court
today 54 year old Mark Brockley was
sentenced to five years in prison
police were alerted to properties
activities back in 2018 so that's five
years ago when BT reported the now
suspended Twitter account
um Infinity IPTV not sure if I've heard
of that one in connection with sales of
illegal IPTV subscriptions
so first mistake is all over a public
social media selling his IPTV no joke if
I put an article up with the words IPTV
on my Twitter I could be something like
just talking about an official IPTV a
legal IPTV service nothing illegal I
would have I could just put a football
post up and I guarantee somebody would
be trying to sell IPTV underneath it
no joke broccoli reportedly charged 15
pound per month for a subscription
expensive between October the 24th 2014
and May 8 2019. the operation made 5251
sales and generated 237
000 pounds of these sales 1400 directly
referenced IPTV and no taxes were paid
to the income so this is where we get
into the interesting stuff again
sometimes a bit more where they get done
for
so we've got all this money and no tax
was paid okay
police visited Brockton 2019 seized his
laptop a mobile phone which linked him
to the infinity IPTV Twitter account
based on this and other evidence
Liverpool Crown Court found broccoli
guilty of supplying articles for use in
Ford and fortunate invasion of income
tax so again here
the fortunate invasion of income tax
obviously the fraud side of things is
can be down to the selling of IPTV yes
but the evasion of income tax is where
he's not paying tax on the money he's
earned from it
city of London Police are pleased with
this outcome
the IPTV seller continued even after he
was interviewed by police so he
continued so he got the warning got the
thing and then he got continued selling
still idiot broccoli made tens of
thousands of pounds from illegal
activity and used some money to fund his
lifestyle despite being interviewed by
uh pipcu officers and knowing that his
actions were against the law he
continued to sell IPTV subscriptions
so again he's got a slap on the wrist
should have stopped and carried on doing
it
fugitive plus dog those are one major
unresolved issue in this case the ipt
sailor has disappeared and was sentenced
in his absence his current whereabouts
is unknown so they're actually appealing
for help to find this guy he's made a
run for him and again would you make a
run for it would you hold your hands up
these articles are quite good in a way
they do exactly what they're meant to do
they like to share it online to stop
people selling IPTV if you ever
considered sailing IPTV you know people
are getting jail sentences for that
stuff it's not official especially in
the UK is not legal there is different
gray areas around the world and whether
you can have it or not licensing is
different but majority of people who are
selling it don't own the rights to it
but it's very hard as a user to
understand what you're buying is illegal
or not but sometimes if it's too good to
be true and too cheap it's not official
and ideally you shouldn't be using it
but I'm not here to tell you what you
can and can't use that is obviously your
choice online not mine nothing to do
with me as you see we rarely cover
anything IPTV related on the channels
because obviously it depends if it's an
official IPTV app like I know itvx or
BBC iPlayer their official ipg phones
but unofficial ones is not something we
normally cover apart from the news
regarding it but if you are ever worried
about your information online and
anybody knowing what you were doing
online a good way to keep you safe
online whether you're doing anything
online this isn't specifically linked
with IPTV this is for your data safety
online at any point whether you're using
official apps whether you decide to use
unofficial apps whether you're just
browsing the internet whether you're
just checking out websites ipvanishvpn
