Arts & Crafts Pit Stop

all right it's time to say goodbye for

now to michigan

so we are in the car oh my gosh michael

was wrapping things up in the hotel

and um chelsea and i took eddie for a

run in the grass

it was 30 it's 32 right now but it was

31.

whoa and then we jumped in the truck

and i jumped back out and i had to turn

the truck on now get it

starting to warm up michael goes out and

i'm like

i've been running around all morning so

i'm like my body's warmed up and i'm

i'm completely comfortable well i run

warm anyway like i'm

always warm so usually it feels good

like when i came out earlier this

morning to walk eddie i'm like oh it

feels so good

and but just now we were out there like

for

a while waiting for michael so we're all

like

we're freezing there's ice on the car

and everything

boy doesn't it feel like we were just

here oh

wait we were technically we were on the

bottom level

oh top level so we're driving through

cincinnati right yep

and here's the big bridge

and we'll be crossing into kentucky so

this is the side i showed

before look at the big bridge over there

so today is halloween halloween and

since we're going to be on the road all

day

oh goodness we're actually postponing

our

halloween but say trick or treat

say trick-or-treat chocolate unless you

want to snickers i don't want eminem

you want snickers what else do we got

anything just stickers

snickers or i got dove no snickers

all right i'll get you snickers you guys

did you say trick-or-treat

okay guys one pit stop we're excited

about is the kentucky artisan center so

they have

it's like a welcome center but they have

um

local artisans like art on display and

where you can purchase some of it

and it's just so beautiful it's really

unique to see

some of the different wasn't open oh

i hope it's open but on the way

up to michigan we were like oh we need

to try to remember to stop there

and we did just stop and get gas and use

the potty and everything but we're like

we really want to go and see if we can

hopefully go inside and check it out

again uh we try to stop here

every time we can when we're driving

through so it's been a while

cool look at the chairs are like uh

wrought iron i guess hands oh there's

some lilies

my favorite mommy's excited

over foliage here we go

this will be the first that she'll

remember of this really cool

table oh look at the peacock

oh that's pretty

pretty neat huh

look at the huge horse

doggy dog bowls

these are pretty

coral holding a nut a giant

nut what you see

a lot of like

how pretty

they're little cat clocks and their

tails move are

they cute

and then here's one of the bird oh

there's a feather as

the second hand and butterfly

and the bumblebee okay so i've seen

these on like online before or something

i've never seen one in person it's a mug

with a guard for your mustache so when

you drink

you don't get your drink and your

mustache isn't that cool

that's pretty funny

it's got a honeycomb in it can you see

it oh that's

really cool isn't that cool let's see

the big comb on the inside

they have a giraffe

that's funny

some definitely unique things wow those

are beautiful

wood wall art oh i like that one

window see the wire horses

these are really neat

it's finding all kinds of stuff

what'd you find cows

you found cows holy cow creamer

oh look at the little cupcake soaps oh

they're so fun

they're smell like cupcakes too

all right so we did pick up a little

souvenir it wasn't anything art

as much as chelsea fell in love with

everything and wanted to buy everything

but everything because it is art and

it's very special

can be quite expensive um but chelsea

picked out this

popcorn paradise pop gourmet popcorn

in sea salt caramel caramel caramel

caramel however you want to say it so

a little snack a little sweet snack are

we gonna have this now

or are we gonna save it for later after

dinner

taste test it you wanna taste test it

okay all right daddy

there's a little hole in the corner oh

that's not going to stay

down the side oh you know what i have

big zip locks oh look at eddie he's like

hey what you got what you got daddy

how is it pretty good yeah yeah chelsea

is struggling with her seatbelt here

you want to try some of course

oh yeah this girl loves her popcorn and

her sweets

i'm going to make caramel apple corn

all right apple pleasant syrup

and i wonder if you can put some of that

in your mouth and take it by apples it

tastes like caramel apple

crunchy caramel apple nope

looks like a popcorn apple popcorn apple

apple flavored caramel apple

popcorn the salt of the popcorn and the

popcorn flavor come through too strong

to like get the caramel apple taste

oh yeah because that is pretty salty

it's salted caramel

yeah so it's pretty salty tasting did

not work

well worth the try that stuff is really

good

we have a gorgeous bridge

in person of course it doesn't show up

as bright on camera

so pretty and truck

okay guys we made it to our last hotel

for this trip

you can take your mask off if you want

all right

here is the bathroom very nice

all right we got two beds again so mommy

and chelsea will be over here daddy and

eddie will be over here

that's just how it's been this trip and

little desk

yep and um this is the same hotel

chain or whatever you would call it as

our last hotel so

uh our last hotel it was so nice i was

like okay this is the company we need to

start

staying at every time we can so oh we

are on the third floor we might actually

have a view

it is freezing cold in here
