Let’s Make a DIY Barbie The Movie Inspired Bed | Plus Closet and Bathroom

and besties I'm Toya an adult doll

collector welcome to my mini verse we

are working on our super pink dream

house that we made in our DIY Barbie

Dream House video and a new Barbie the

movie trailer just dropped which is

totally feeding my new pink Obsession

our pool needs a slide right speaking of

slides we just put together the 2023

Barbie Dream House in a previous video

according to Good Morning America the

dream house has a makeover and now has

the tallest slide of the dream houses

but I totally removed it because it went

into the house and I wanted this room

for a living room I bought this because

I thought the layout of this house

looked pretty similar to Barbie's house

in Barbie the movie however I think

we're just gonna continue making our own

plus this house is super large and it's

not that easy for me at 5'3 to move

around for photos and while this house

does bring in some Barbie the movie

elements like the sequins bedding I

would have liked to have seen something

more like this but I do like those

chairs and this gives me some ideas for

the layout of the bathroom our rooms are

separate stackable units which makes it

easier for me to move them around today

I want to work on the bedroom and I

think I'm gonna change this wall right

here first let's remove the ceiling

which I didn't glue down yet so that was

pretty easy and now we're going to

remove this wall oh wow that happened so

I just completely demolished the whole

room but that's okay because we're going

to just glue it back together and we're

gonna take this box room that I made a

while back soften the glue with a hair

dryer and pull it apart I use a Dremel

to cut one of the boards in half and

paint it I'm going with light magenta

this is the color we've been using for

most of the house let's take the

shelving wall from that closet that we

made in this video I removed the pens at

the top and painted pink I take the

other half wall and we're going to paint

it light pink along with another

full-size board I painted four boards

White Two for the ceiling and two for

the floor in addition to the ones that

we already have head for the bedroom

let's take seven wooden dowels and two

one inch blocks we're gonna make our

columns that we made in our first DIY

Barbie Dream House video while those are

drying we can put the bedroom Back

Together by gluing on the back wall and

the new shorter side and touch up the

paint while waiting for this to dry take

the two white boards we painted for the

floor and glue them together glue the

shelving unit to the back of one side I

paint Three Wooden dowels gold while

waiting for them to dry I take the light

pink wool and glue it to the back take

the light pink half wall and glue it

between them I take the gold wooden

dowels and glue them onto the sides of

the shelving and glue the last one going

across the top to make a clothing rack

cut a piece of wood to the length of the

light pink wall paint it I'm choosing to

paint mine white I took the sink from

the bathroom in our doll loft apartment

that we made a long time ago it's a cake

pillar with a small plastic appetizer

plate I removed the original faucet and

we're going to take a little piece of

wood and frame the top cut a small piece

of a wooden dowel cut the end from a

coffee stir glue them together painted

gold paint the frame white glue it on

top of the bowl then glue the gold piece

in the back glue the painted strip of

wood to the back wall add a mirror this

one is from the dollar store I printed

off some tile on cardstock glue it to

the back wall add our sink a toilet from

the dollar store and a tub I added

hangers from Barbie fashion packs to

make a closet and a bathroom glue The

Columns onto the corners and add the

ceiling place the other room right next

to it to add more square footage to the

dollhouse

this is our bedroom area we now have a

closet with some shelving and a bathroom

when we made the original closet we made

this long mirror I'm placing it in the

bedroom against the wall or we could use

the dream Ella mirror let's take foam

board cut an 8 by 11 inch rectangle glue

strips around the edge to make a box

cover with fleece or felt then fabric to

make a mattress cut three two inch

strips of foam board then draw and cut

out a headboard cover it with felt and

fabric make small Cuts where needed and

pull tightly over those curved edges cut

and glue the strips to fit around the

mattress remove the mattress and cover

it with fabric gluing it on the inside

blew in the mattress and I glued mine so

there's about an inch of the match

interests above the bed rail then add

our covered headboard to make a new bed

for our room I take the make it mini

food tables and place them next to the

bed for a nightstand whoa that's kind of

short let's add another base to make it

taller let's bring back the original

bedding I bought LED votive candles from

the dollar store I cover them with vinyl

paper then glue them to the walls to be

working lights in the trailer Barbie had

this beautiful sparkly bedding I found a

fabric that I think is pretty close it's

a netting with lots of sequins sewn to

it I used it to make a blanket by sewing

another piece of fabric to the back

drape it over the bed add a pink throw

pillow add clothes to the closet add

Shoes and Handbags so our dolls have a

fully stocked wardrobe let's cut a fuzzy

fabric for a rug and our dolls have a

new Barbie the movie inspired bedroom

plus a new closet and a bathroom that we

will be adding to our stackable dream
