Brother, I have booked two IMAX 4D tickets,

today we will have full fun, for the first time we will experience 4D.

I have heard that heroes come out of the screen.

Ok, Let's Go..

By the way, which movie is this ticket for?

Hey Bro, "Kisi Ka Bhai Sabki Jaan", Sallu Bhai will come out of the screen.

If you have ever tried to book movie tickets online, from book my show or PVR.

So you must have seen that there are so many options for the same movie

like 2D, 3D, 4D, IMAX 3D, ICE 3D and Screen X.

What is going on with all this?

In movie theatres, many shows of the same movie goes on at the same time.

For example, 3D format is playing on screen 1

and IMAX format of the same movie is playing on screen 2.

So what is the difference between 3D and IMAX and in which

theatre one can get the best audio experience of the movie

or in which theatre the viewing experience of the movie can be better?

Which theatres will have screens all around

or which theatres will have ghosts coming out from below..

No it won't happen, I hope it doesn't happen.

So here as I go to book any movie tickets online.

And here it shows me movies, I chose Fast & Furious 10.

And here I got all the formats like 2D, MX 4D, IMAX 3D, Screen X, 3D, 4DX 3D,

that too of the same movie.

Now which one of these tickets should I book, which one is best for me?

And there is a lot of difference in their price, as tickets start from ₹ 240 to ₹ 900

So if you want to know why there are so many formats of every movie

then you have to understand all of them.

At the end of the video, I will also tell you which experience is best, IMAX or 4D,

but after understanding the format, you can also decide for yourself.

So let's go to the tech used in movie theatres.

So first comes our standard 2D format.

If you are watching this video then you must know what is 2D format?

Two Dimensional Movies Theatre.

And this is the most common format used in any theatre,

which has been running since the old time theatres.

But today's people are not happy in 2D, they want a stronger experience.

So that's why three dimensional movie theatre was made for them.

Yes, this is the same where black coloured glasses are given

and you are made to sit saying that the

actor will come out of your screen and give you autograph here

and it will be a great experience.

But this was only for some time, now even in 3D people do not enjoy it much.

But the tech behind it is very interesting.

Two images are projected by taking two polarise projectors,

in which the polarise direction of Both are different from each other.

That's why the character standing behind seems more behind

and the character standing in front seems more forward.

And the glasses that are given to you are also polarised glasses,

otherwise you would see something like this without it.

But I want to know for a long time whether the people who wear spectacles

put these glasses on top of their spectacles or they remove the spectacles.

IMAX, which we call Image Maximum

and like its name here the image is shown to you in maximum size.

26% larger screen than standard screen and this screen will be up to the

top of the theatre, so you will get to see a very good viewing experience.

Somewhere the IMAX screen is also curved.

If any movie comes, you must have seen IMAX advertisement that here you do not get to

see big black bars up and down,

you get to see more details and information in the movie.

And to be honest, this happens because IMAX movies are shot with IMAX cameras

and the format of that camera is like this.

And very big movies or movies with high budget are recorded with an IMAX camera only.

And in today's time, many movies are being shot with IMAX camera, such as

Brahmastra, Avatar 2, Avengers Endgame, Fast & Furious and many more movies.

And in IMAX theatres, you really get to see more up and down.

And while researching this video, I came to know that Ranveer's mother shown

in Brahmastra movie was Deepika and this has been found only in IMAX theatres.

Man, I had also gone to watch but I do not remember this scene.

But on Hotstar you can see this scene clearly.

Now I don't know whether I don't remember

or it was not really in theatres at that time.

Make it clear in the comment section

whether you also noticed this or I forgot the movie.

But leave all that, come back to IMAX theatre, here you can also get scammed.

It is not necessary, if you have taken IMAX ticket,

then you will get to see the same big screen.

At some places, IMAX is shown in some theatres, but it is only a wide screen.

Don't know why we are lied to in the name of IMAX

and people call it LIMAX and not IMAX.

So always check the IMAX ticket thoroughly before booking it or go with IMAX 3D.

After that comes Dolby Digital Cinema

and it is the best experience ever for any movie.

You go and watch any movie in it, from the image production

of that movie to its audio, you will get to see the best here.

Because the projectors used here in 2D and 3D are 2K.

But here in Dolby dual 4k projectors are used.

Where you get more sharpness in movies.

And having dual projectors means brighter screen, deeper blacks and more details.

Dolby also features HDR which is also in our phones and PCs these days.

High dynamic range, which means that where there is black, it will be completely black

and where it is bright, it will be very clear bright colour.

But that's not all, Dolby also has better sound system, Dolby Atmos.

And I am tired of listening to their ads in every movie.

Rest of the Theaters use surround speakers, where you will find one speaker at the back

one speaker will be found at the side.

But Dolby uses Super Surround System, where you will get to

see speakers around the entire theatre, not just behind you.

Speakers under the base of your seat, and up on the ceiling.

And because of this you get the best sounding experience with good bass.

Means the sound and bass are such that you feel the seat vibrating.

But it is difficult to find Dolby cinema in every city.

But here you will get Dolby Atmos sound system in Maximum Cities

where you can take the experience of sound.

If there are Dolby cinemas near you, then go there to watch the movie,

my recommendation will be the same.

After that comes 4DX, 4DX 3D then MX 4D.

4DX is the same where whatever is happening in the movie

will also happen to you on your seat.

For example, if your actor is driving a boat,

water will be sprinkled on you so that you feel all that.

If the movie is on a roller coaster ride, your seat will move up and down.

If your movie scene is being shot in a gutter, you will smell that thing.

And if your actors are being punched and kicked,

then the theatre employees will treat you the same way.

But all jokes aside, 4DX stands for 4D experience.

And in this also you can choose 4DX or 4DX 3D.

Just there you will be given 3D glasses extra.

Last time I saw SHANG-Chi in 4DX.

And I enjoyed the first half hour,

but while going to the end where the fight scene comes,

if it is going up then our seat is also going up,

if it is going down then our seat is going down.

And if you are going to watch a two and a half hour movie,

then you will have to prepare for a headache.

So go after having one Desprin beforehand.

Seriously, 4DX experience is fine for once,

but it gets a bit irritating in longer movies,

so you can watch accordingly.

But let me tell you a fun fact, after the movie is released,

a person sits, selects each and every scene of the movie

and sees that in this scene I have to do programming of water,

or programming of air, or seats up or down, he does all the programming.

Apart from this, in the last few years after covid, two new

types of screens have come, which we call Ice 3D & Screen X.

If we talk about Ice 3D, then here Ice means, Immersive cinema experience.

And here you get to see the front screen as well as the side screens on both sides.

There will be five screen panels in your right,

there will be five screen panels on your left.

There is no movie project in the screens on both sides, just the kind of scenes

that are playing in the movie are blurred or its colours are applied here.

Due to which you feel that there is a very good 3D viewing experience, nothing else.

Now I don't know how good it is or how bad it is to experience but for now Ice

Theatres are only in few cities like Delhi, Noida, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune.

But yes, there is one thing that the seats of Ice theatres are very dangerous seats,

so you will get complete comfort there.

Then comes our last, screenX.

Now both Ice and Screen X are the latest technology,

there are very few theatres of these two.

But what is the difference between ScreenX and Ice?

In Screen X, you get the front screen, but you get to see the panels on both the sides

and there is also a movie project.

But the movie is stretched and projected in both the side panels.

It means that there are three screens in front of you

but you have to mainly focus on the front screen only.

Because of the projection on all three sides,

you feel like you are watching a huge screen.

But that production stretch on the side screen looks a bit weird

and now you can't avoid Sallu Bhai as he is going to appear on all three screens.

So for now both these technologies are new,

there are less theatres, I have not experienced either of these.

If you have experienced then tell in the comment section how was the experience,

I will pin it.

And if you believe me then you can go to IMAX theatres for the experience.

With the right IMAX theatres or IMAX 3D.

If you want overall good or best audio experience

then you can go with Dolby Cinema.

Both of these are best.
