george fell into this

keep extra clean for the picture

and to think i thought that i might find

a messy monkey

the tether link ripped off my suit

then you can't go outside

oh boy we have to scrub the mission

that city kid really gets around

george knew what he had to do first

rocket very quickly

the maze looked a lot more like the map

when seen from above

george turned the map just right

and george knew exactly where they had

follow charkie everywhere with his ears

you know normally if i heard yelling

something that felt like charkie

when he heard her bark he knew it was

i searched everywhere i can't find

this time george didn't just use the bat

he used sound

and smell

had suitcases

that airport was a fun place it was like

a vacation before vacation

this is not going to be easy

everything that comes into the

wastewater treatment plant gets sorted

into three categories

from construction or sand used on icy

they'd all be right here

but the sanitation workers said

it does except during heavy rains the

system can't handle all the storm water

and it overflows

right now the pipes and tanks are backed

up so anything on its way here

isn't going to get here

it goes down the river to the ocean

in the ocean

my teacher is never gonna believe my

homework went down a storm drain and got

destroyed

so when it rains everything goes into

the ocean

ah that's awful somebody ought to figure

out a way to warn people yeah they

should paint a model boat with an x

through it on the street drains so some

other kid doesn't lose his history

homework like i did

and while they're at it they should

paint like

birds and fish and and little wavy

things for water on the street drains

and then like paint a coffee cup with an

x through it so people know not to

litter because it'll end up in the ocean

that's a very good idea steve

it is um i mean yeah it is

this was a terrific idea for a class

the bad news is you won't get to be in

history class with betsy next year

an american eel i've never seen one here

before you've got to get his picture

that is rare he must have wandered in

while heading down river on his way to

the ocean

the next morning george headed out early

determined to catch a picture of that

rare eel

did mr quinn say you guys saw a neil in

this lake

eel's never come to this lake i'm gonna

catch it and take it home

you wanted to be the one to catch it huh

okay it's a contest i'll go get my

equipment

here was george's chance to get the eel

first so bill couldn't take it home

[Music]

the eel was out of reach and george was

out of breath

this looked bad soon bill would be back

with his new hook

[Music]

a hook was just what george needed

[Music]

now if only he could get the water to

sit still

[Music]

wow it looks like a big one

don't worry i'll help you

george didn't want bill to get the eel

but he didn't want the eel to remain

trapped either

george this is what happens when you

don't use the proper

fishing gear

it's just an old cage

hey

the eels in that cage and you're the one

who hooked him

up

okay you want but george we have to help

daddy he'll get back to its home where

it belongs

well that's why i wanted to catch it to

take it home to the ocean

being a city kid you don't know this but

eels travel from fresh water to the

ocean to spawn

bomb voyage mr eel

that's the proper way to say goodbye to

someone headed out on the ocean

all the fishermen came back with tails

that day

mr quint's tale of how he freed a whale

and george's tale of how he and bill

freed that eel

george had his seed system set

first he dug a hole

then he planted some seeds

then he covered the hole

he ate them

protected his garden from the birds with

a scarecrow

but how could he get it to move

it was the biggest pinwheel george had

some people use windmills to make

electricity

ah

i use mine to make flour

and

butter

that's the butter turner

those stones grind the grain into flour

for bread

bread and butter go together like

george could use a windmill to make his

scarecrow move

now what did mr quixote say

if you're building a windmill you need

sails

time to take those sails for a spin

[Music]

but his windmill stopped short

so george gave his windmill a leg up

four of them

his sails moved

but his windmill didn't

what was he missing

when the wind blows it pushes the sails

[Music]

george could push his sails but the wind

couldn't

mr coyote's sails were stiff

maybe that gave the wind more to push

against

all his windmill needed now was a

scarecrow mover

george had done it

he made his scarecrow move

but he did feel bad for compass and his

friends

now the pigeons could eat their food

while george grew his
