look so you can decide if it's one that

you'd like to add to your collection

the app that we are taking a look at

today has over 600 live TV channels but

there's some good news and some bad news

first the bad not every channel is free

and there aren't any premium channels

the good news is there are over 100 live

TV channels that you can watch for free

without an account without a VPN and has

content in English and Spanish

it's definitely not going to be for

everyone and to be honest it's not the

best free service around but it is an

option and that's what cord cutting is

all about finding what is right for you

there are live TV channels that cover

many tastes and interests including News

sports kids entertainment comedy music

documentaries real life and music

channels load without any issues and

play in HD quality on most channels I

took a look at you can flick through the

channels and browse like a regular cable

TV experience

another feature of this app that

delivers a cable-like TV experience is

the TV Guide you can see what's on now

and coming up and it's really simple and

easy to use

as already mentioned some of the 600

live TV channels are available as part

of a paid package only

the premium packages are gold Latino

Mexico and Argentina and give you

hundreds of extra channels but these are

not premium network channels I wouldn't

really recommend upgrading to any of

these premium packages until you have

taken a look at the full list of

channels that are on offer with each

package as you may be disappointed

as well as live TV channels there's also

a small selection of on-demand content

that does give a few surprises

you can find movies such as American

Sniper American Gangster and Dangerous

Minds

if you are a fan of action movies you

can find many starring Jean-Claude Van

Damme and even more recent movies such

as John Wick chapter 3. as already

mentioned the on-demand section is quite

small and some categories such as

children's and Telly novellas don't have

any content at all

so that's a brief overview of the

content that is on offer if you think

you're intrigued enough to take a look

for yourself the app is called Viva live

TV and is available from the Google Play

and Apple app stores as well as on some

LG and Philips Smart TVs Apple TV Roku

and you can watch on any web browser by

going to Viva live tv.com

Viva live TV is not available on the

Amazon app store for Fire TV devices but

you can side load it and if you can't

get VIVA live TV from your app store you

can side load it onto these devices too

all you need is the downloader app

installed which you can get from the

Amazon app store or Google Play store or

you can open any web browser and go to

firetvstix.com forward slash downloads

if you are using the downloader app type

in

28907 and click go

when the page loads press the menu

button on your remote and press it again

to enter full screen mode

scroll down to the search box and type

in Viva

then click the back button on your

remote

click the red download button and

install the app

once the install has finished select

done and then select delete and delete

again

this will delete the installation file

as it's no longer needed

you can now go into your list of apps

and open Viva live TV from there
