we're going to be talking Financial

positioning for the year 2023 and

hopefully Financial quality is going to

be giving us like you know um the road

map you know taking us through the

Journey like holding their hands through

the Journey so Financial policies here

good morning Financial thank you yeah so

he's uh he's a financial person let me

just ask if he finances money about it

but I'm so excited to have you this

morning I'm talking financial planning

Financial positioning for the year 2023.

so how do I begin the financial plan you

know okay especially going back you know

checking how do I even review what has

happened one thing most people don't

even have any plan in the beginning of

the year they just go into the year like

um if you ask some of the viewers you

can ask yourself now have you sat down

even

um think about what 2023 is going to be

you know most people talk about

um politics and when you look at these

people their Vision years in 2020

they're already talking about 2023 and

that shows that they are thinking ahead

but you see people talking about the

memory local stuffs like that but if you

start now

um like just for one day and you're

thinking about 2023 or even thought

about 2022 what people need to do is to

see that if you are someone that used to

write a class you can go back to your

your book where you used to write down

on your plan and review it okay this one

I said I needed to start this business I

said I needed to do this why didn't I

start is it because of capital in fact

that we even help you to know that okay

this was the reason why I couldn't

achieve this so if I must achieve that

in 2022 I need to work on this thing

they are achieve and you know most

people don't plan the major thing you

need to do first is to sit down the year

is running to an end most people live

they just wake up in the morning walk

come back in the night next time to

relax and at least you can even take a

week break or two weeks break move away

from where you used to be I can tell you

by the time you analyze things and you

review your life in 2022 once you come

back 2020 you come back you're just like

slowing down to speed up so to slow down

Force everything you're doing check your

2022 check your work do I really need to

even start thinking about another work

you have to be very very analytic in

2023 because there are so many

uncertainties

the election

um looking at the implementation of the

new currency

um so many things is going to be

affecting the economy I I think it's

always wise for you to see them take two

weeks or even one day go somewhere no

one is going to disturb you like four

hours five hours think about 2022 and

start looking at some of the things that

made you not to achieve some of the

things you want to achieve and how can

you position you discover that you will

have much opportunity to speed up you

just have to be an optimistic person

because some things are going to happen

that in fact you you'll be frustrated so

you just have to be optimistic in 2020

just make up your mind no matter because

if you decide to be pessimistic and say

oh scarcity

um there is although people in his

custody because I'm surprised that can

never hold up his cars there's no fire

there's still hold up or so many other

things you just have to be optimistic so

um for me in 2023 I have

so like you said the goal and the plan I

have

known some things that I need to do so I

just need to just um take out time then

begin to put time

um make it timely okay in January this

is what I want to do in February this is

what I should get to in March in April

it could be quarterly it could be every

three months it could be every six

months so you have to

because if you don't put those time to

it you just discovered that

um the year is gone I have not been able

to do much so make your plan timely in

2020. your custom entities will happen

but just position your mind that no

matter what I will still have to be

possible because if you are negative um

you will attract negative results as

long as you are in Nigeria you can't

tell me that I don't have any I don't

have a business so as an individual a

company's cannot even if you are working

an organization the company that they

are having their own issues so you you

don't expect to most companies don't

really pay 100 what staffs want so as an

individual

you must know enter 2023 having a

mindset of just the nine to five income

just one

you must have a business in 2023 if you

don't have a business now begin to think

about it now what business do I want to

start if you now have a business now

begin to look at how can I multiply can

I have like two to three different

businesses because if you don't have

additional income such a size your

monthly payments the second thing you

need to do to plan for 2022 because the

truth is that 2023 rather the truth is

that money will not always be enough you

need to it's not really about how much

you make now

is about how much you keep you need to

be very very liquid you need to have

enough cash a lot of businesses make

money so save it yes a lot of businesses

make money but they spend it as they

make it whether you make little or much

make sure that you have something that

you keep aside because sometimes

opportunity can come and it might be

that little 100K that you needed I just

need to

key into that business opportunity

sometimes it might even be good it can

be some of these top companies

investment house and the savings

products that they have so you can just

kick start with that I have different of

those things it's always good you have

at least it's not really about how much

you make it's how much you keep because

the truth is that your ability to still

keep in the amidst some of these issues

is what you need to grow a business if

you have been able to save to some

extent by the time you start your

business you wouldn't just see your

profit as your income you would even

want to keep it more and expand your

business so in 2023 you need to have

something outside you need to have

something outside it's very important so

you try to enter another thing you need

to do is to create businesses start

thinking about from now they need to

think about businesses that you can

start that might not really require you

much money to start what are some of

those businesses I keep asking you and

we cannot continue to we cannot

reiterate enough because we need to keep

hearing the only way yeah yeah it's

sensing or something definitely in fact

there's some business that you can start

you don't even need any money or yes

definitely but you need to have those

skills

that would help you start those for

instance for instance okay

um now when I measured you don't need

money definitely you might need like

little amount like maybe 10K 30k 50k so

but having these skills will make you

not to need money to replicate or to

um to apply those skills take for

instance most people don't really know

much on some of these um Online skills

if you are very good with digital

marketing a lot of people used to hear

data market data market data market they

don't they are not so good with data

marketing if you are very good with data

marketing

you can make much more money

with digital marketing all you just need

to do is get a product and apply digital

marketing and you make money you know

making money is principle based if you

don't follow the principle you can't

make the money

so if you can sell through digital

platforms you can make money just get a

product um I think three weeks ago I

created a product online and that

product I didn't want to sell it for a

little amount I just okay let me just

even reduce the amount let me sell it

for 50 000 there

you buy the product is 50 000 and it's a

digital product

what is my district like a book do you

think an example is an ebook it could be

a video series a video that teaches

people on something something it is like

a package so sometimes you can create

like a a product that has like about

seven videos that gives people guides I

can talk about

um how to start an e-commerce business

and I create like seven videos that

gives you step-by-step guide and then

talk about how to start an importation

business and I create five videos I give

you step by step down and how to start

with 50 000 and the space of six months

you grow it to like 300 or 500k so I

create that course and because I

understand digital Market I really

create the cost once and because I only

pay for my digital marketing skills once

if I must apply the marketing speed I

don't need to pay any more money to the

person I learned so these are skills

that you will learn only once and pay

and you don't really need money again to

apply those skills so if I could create

a cost of fifty thousand and I have like

thirty thousand the advert I did was

like I think 15K and I sold two of those

courses and that's 100 000 there very

simple because I obeyed

um Finance principle money with you so

if you know how to Market and you have a

business or a product that you can sell

and you apply it some people do this

abroad that's why most companies they

already know how much some people some

companies advertise worth like 500 000

because they know that for every dollar

I spend on adverts this is the amount I

make so as they are making the money

they are pumping it because I know if I

spend five hundred thousand dollars on

that left I make five million so as you

spend five hundred thousand dollars and

they made five million they put another

500 so it's like Auto is is

creating the five million because you

already know those stuff so you have to

learn search out for businesses that or

skills that you can acquire that will

generate you money a lot of people or

let me use youth because we have so much

in Nigeria we cover majority of Nigerian

population don't have mentors and that

is why you will see so many of us

the result is slow

ly

we don't have mentors and that is why

result is slow and why is that so

because so many youth does not want to

serve

because for you to have a mentor that

will show you the way they always says

follow you know before we know you will

show you Road you must be able to serve

that person if what do I mean by service

sometimes you can do some things that

they say without even thinking about

them paying you one of the things

opportunities that I I benefited from is

because I had a mentor and from the

beginning there are some things that I

did that even I know that I have all

this thing but let me just do it and

there's some of the information that I

got

that was from my mentors so and in fact

in 20 19 or 2018 I wrote a book how to

attract the greatest method we have no

publish I published it online

by read the book on how to attract you

see someone that has really done it how

can you approach that person and make

that person

Mentor you and take the let the person

take you seriously and let the person

take you seriously they are principles

you have to follow to attract the mentor

maybe can I quickly around on that okay

okay so if you see someone that you know

okay this person is a Godly person and I

really want to replicate the success the

person has made try to

um know the person of course for the for

you to see the person that I want him to

be my mentor their events that the

person is running or maybe they are

businesses that the person is running

that has to do with you as a you might

be his first customer this customer

you know that I want this one to Mentor

me on business and it has several

business you can walk up to him and say

okay I want to buy this um products that

you are selling I say but how can I is

it like you are trying to develop that

relationship so you want to first

because you can't just walk into

somebody that is so busy and you expect

the person to Mentor so you have to

create a bridge that will make you have

that access and sometimes it's always by

you paying them for a service that they

are offering

attention yeah first things for you to

get the attention so before you can get

the attention you have to do it you have

to pay them for a service that they are

ranging then the number two thing is for

you to offer them a freestyle because

most people see big people and they

everything they do is ask them can you

help me with this can you give me money

can you give it so when they see you

with another Master let's say your

program is in the next two weeks how are

you doing I want to volunteer they see

you from another another aspect to that

this one is not even asking for money or

it's not even asking for me to help him

or he's not asking for they were able to

volunteer and support the person in a

particular whatever the person is doing

the first thing you get is that access

and once you get with that access just

start by serving the person maybe the

person has a product to push okay how

can I do this so how can I do your web

so that way you create that friendship

then later on you cannot meet the person

I say sir I really am because you have

already helped the person several times

over so many things like if someone

comes to meet you and say ah hello let

me just be your let me just help you for

some so many things you want to do and

when you call the person can you let me

do this the person does it can you help

me do this the person tried to do it can

you help me do this over a period of

chapter three months till the person

comes to meet you and say a few secrets

to the person in fact very simple yeah

so you have to first give to that person

before you stand up and what the person

will give to you in return is way more

than what you have been giving all these

months

so that is one of the ways to attract

some of these mentors give to them

whenever they want to give you a return

in fact is much more really an

interesting one on the show this morning
