2018 - 2020 Land / Range Rover Remote Key Battery Replacement - DIY

Here is a quick video on how to replace the battery in the 2018-2019 Land rover key Fob.
When the battery needs replacing, there is a significant decrease in the effective range and the instrument panel displays Smart key battery Low.
To remove the emergency key blade, push the button on the smart key.
Pull the emergency key blade in the direction of the arrow.
Use the emergency key blade to separate the smart key's body.
Fit a new and unused CR2032 type battery, available from a retailer/authorized repairer, with the positive (+) side upward.

new battery this takes it to zero three
two I got this off Amazon it's about
three dollars and there's a link below
in the description I'll take you right
there now you could use a small
screwdriver if you don't have nails
which I don't so that's a little that'll
make it a little bit easier but
basically here's all you need to do
there's a little button right here and
that actually brings up this the actual
actual key so push that in and pull out
the key now once you have the key out
you can either use a screwdriver or this
key works fine stick it in here just
just a little bit just enough to pry pry
that part up okay and there's your
battery and I like to use the small
screwdriver at this point you know again
you don't have to but it just makes
makes it a little bit a little bit
easier so take that out and it says
right here down is the negative so
basically just put it in with the
positive side facing up and this has a
little little Ridge here that's what's
in cases the battery give that a good
squeeze you can feel it feel the clicks
put your key back in and you're all set
