2022 SunRay 109 Tiny Travel Trailer

hey guys this is corey with custom rv in

amarillo texas

and welcome back to another video today

we're going to take a look at one of the

coolest

little trailers we have on the lot

this is the 2022

sunray 109

from sunset park rv

this particular trailer comes in at 1280

pounds as we see it here equipped today

and is going to be about 12

feet in overall length

we're gonna do a quick interior and

exterior walk around video tour today

and show you all of the cool features

on this teardrop style trailer

so without further ado let's go ahead

and jump on to the inside

alright guys so as we step on to the

inside of this 109 sun ray as you can

see here you have a gaucho style sofa

this will turn into a bed and we'll see

what that looks like here in just a

moment

so this gives you kind of a nice place

to get out of the weather

and uh you know cool off because this

does have an air conditioner which i'll

show you here in just a second

now if you look up top you can see

you've got a fan up there now that is

the small four inch what we call the

fart fan

but you can

upgrade that to a larger fan and we do

have models with that

in there now that black box over there

is your furnace thermostat

you've got your propane leak detector

down here

you a uh your breakers and fuses

and then over here you're gonna have

your furnace now i believe that's either

a 15 or an 18 000 btu furnace which is

more than sufficient for this little guy

now this is the ash wood color

which is the darker of the two options

they also make this in naughty pine and

i'll leave a link in the video

description

where you can check out a 109 with the

naughty pine interior

now as we step on to the inside

you can see you've got your emergency

egress window pleated nice shades here

you've also got

another window up here which is pretty

cool

now as we look over here you're going to

have your air conditioner that's a 5000

btu air conditioner

spot to mount a tv if you did want to do

that

you're going to have a couple of handy

usb plugs right over there for some

phone chargers

little shelf for you know like a

nightstand so to speak you've got 110

volt outlet right there

a couple of light switches

and you've got your am and fm bluetooth

stereo system that'll control the

interior and exterior speakers

so real quick

let's go ahead and we will put this down

into bed mode and let's see how big the

bed is

all right guys so i've got the sofa in

bed mode here

now this is going to be a 54 inch wide

by 74 inch long with basically in

residential terms it's a full size bed

so this can sleep to adults now i'm 6'2

and i technically can fit here i would

just kind of have to curl up just just a

little bit since it is so small but i do

that anyway and i think most people do

as well

so now as we back up on to the outside

we'll start up front here

so you can see this is an aluminum sided

travel trailer we'll get to colors here

in just a minute

but you've got a manual tongue jack now

the cool thing with this manual tongue

jack is

this is how you can use the handle or if

you flip it this way

you can use your cordless drill to zip

this thing up and down so that's a

really neat feature i kind of almost

prefer that rather than the power tank

jack

let me know what you think about that

though

so over here

you're gonna have your rails for your

battery sp this is where your spare tire

will mount it does come with one we just

don't have it mounted yet and it also

come with a propane tank that will sit

up here as well

you got your rails for your battery

and then over here next to my jump box

you've got a battery disconnect

this is an aluminum sided travel trailer

wood frame construction so it is

uh

a conventionally constructed travel

trailer

now you can see that this one is red and

black which just really pops

people really like their bright colors

and there's multiple different color

options i'll leave some links to other

ones that we've done in the video

description so you can see a number of

different of these if you'd like to

now this one has the optional manual box

awning so that'll come out about oh six

or seven feet or so and then you can

stake it down if you want to

you can see you do have a screen door

single step to get up into the trailer

you're also going to or this one is in

the sport package

and what that gives you is the

aggressive off-road tires and a six-inch

lift for the axle which is really nice

especially if you're going to take this

out in the boonies i think most people

are

you've got an amber porch light here

dual outside speakers

you've also got an electrical outlet

and then back here you're going to have

a propane quick connect so if you want

to hook up like a blackstone griddle or

something you can definitely do that

now up top there you can see those

horizontal bars right here

that is your roof rack now that is rated

at 500 pounds and they sell a lot of

aftermarket kits for these for bikes or

kayaks

um which is really cool and i like that

they just have that standard

now coming back on to the back side of

the trailer here is where your kitchen

is

so you've got this big uh flip up door

that kind of acts as a second awning so

to speak

you've got your microwave up here and i

know a lot of people on this one will

pull that microwave out and use it for

extra storage but it's nice that they do

give you a microwave

you've also got the oh i want to say

this is a

three cubic foot

fridge freezer combo so you're going to

have your freezer that flips down right

here and this freezer i believe is

removable as well which is kind of a

neat feature this will work off of

propane and electricity which is really

nice as well

you've got your gfi protected outlet

a little storage right there

you've got a sink

with

the sink top cover

you're also going to have a two burner

stove with the cover as well

you got your light switch for your

lights back here

and then back in here is going to be

your water pump and water heater

switches which is really nice that this

thing does have a water heater

up top you've got more storage and if

you feel back where the cabinets go

together these are pocket screwed

cabinetry and when we took these on i

was not expecting that for how much

these cost

now the other nice thing is with these

doors that flip up they're using the

strut supported

hinges which is very nice that's a

higher end feature again they didn't

have to do that

as we come back over here

you can see there is your six gallon gas

water heater

and here's just another look of the

outside and there's a better look at

that roof rack system again

that is a

fully walkable roof 500 pound capacity

for the

roof rack system and that's a pvc roof

which is really nice

right here you're going to have your

city water and fresh water connections

cable and satellite hookup right here if

you do decide to add a tv to this little

guy outside shower and then right here

is going to be your 30 amp hardwired

cord

now right here you're gonna have a small

little storage compartment

great for some of that camping gear and

stuff you can see it is lighted too

which is really nice

and then lastly you've got your furnace

exhaust

so all right guys that's going to wrap
