DIY Cat Ears Challenge?! w/ Karina Garcia, Alexa Mae & Jill Cimorelli

for your first challenge you guys will

be creating a craft trendy enough to

wear okay what trendy enough to wear

does that even mean like I don't know if

I'm supposed to try to make clothes or

like an accessory it's gonna be really

tough but there's a catch you can only

grab three items from the store and you

have to use them in your craft

I will also allow you access to a box of

scraps that will be located in front of

you all right ladies I know this sounds

hard but you're starting off with two

minutes on the clock to go shopping but

here's your chance to gain some

additional time by answering this DIY

question correctly

I need these 30 seconds so badly my

edges can be jagged my edges can be

straight there is no way to draw outside

of the lines unless I break no I guess

maybe like a brush it's hard Jack we get

a hint I'll say this it's a school

supply and it helps for coloring 30

seconds of shopping time yes Howard did

I not get that I seriously need every

second I can get sorry Jill

so I'm going into the shopping room we

have Alexa in the lead with two minutes

and 30 seconds and in second place we

have a Jill with two minutes on the

clock to go shopping Alexa ready set go

oh my god I literally don't know what to

get this is so hard

oh my gosh this store is huge I'm

getting lost and I still don't know what

I'm making so I'm freaking out oh my god

no I'm so nervous about her having 30

extra seconds like that's so much time

to grab extra self now I feel like

I can make it happen and no idea what I

wanted me I just I don't know to do what

would like you something like very

Instagram though and something very like

alright we're coming up on two minutes

Jill ready set go bye Josh this story is

huge and Alexa has like 30 extra seconds

on the I don't even know where to start

don't know what that means

honestly see I'm thinking I think it's a

maybe I'm gonna try to make a cardigan

so just super easy just like fabric we

need to find the fabric fabric fabric

like where would fabric be in a craft

store they have to have something to

sorts huge they have everything here one

minute 30 seconds left it's ugly but can

you even wear that's trendy that you can

make I don't know this is so hard I

cannot find fabric anywhere and it's

really stressing me out so I think I'm

gonna have to ditch the cardigan idea

and come up with something else

I keep running into Alexa and it's

stressing me out did you get out of my

way follow me I don't know Alexa and I

have this really weird moment where we

look at each other and then both run for

the headband yeah I'm gonna better

anyways oh my gosh a headband yes making

me super nervous so hopefully she

doesn't have the same ideas me cat ears

are so trendy right now

I think watercolor cat ears would look

so cute perfect so that's what I'm gonna

do

oh no she didn't I can not believe she

snapped those rhinestones right out of

my hand taking them sorry not sorry

but I think that I have a plan B flowers

I'll get 30 seconds this source huge

I've no idea where I'm going oh my god

so much harder than it looks

yes I was fun by so fast like two

minutes is no time alright they need to

tell me about what you've got a leg you

go Prue I got some rhinestone I picked

those out first and okay but I have no

and then I have a headband and some

watercolor paper Oh

all right Jo so she took your

rhinestones what's going on what did you

plan out on your head alright so I also

got a headband and I decided to go with

some pipe cleaners and then after she

stole my rhinestones I decided that

these keeping flowers would be even

better

all right ladies well I gotta say I'm a

little bit disappointed you guys are

making basically the same thing so you

better make it stand out because if you

want to be the winner of this DIY -

challenge you got to get creative we may

be different don't worry I'm gonna win

all right

as I told you earlier you will have

access to the box of scraps in front of

you but you can only choose two items to

use it so choose wisely you'll both have

10 minutes on the clock and I'm gonna

step out come back in a few minutes to

check on you guys and your time starts

now

I don't know what I should take I know

me neither this is hard okay I

definitely need the glue so I'm looking

through this scrap box I know that I

need a hot glue gun so I can attach my

flowers but I think I'm just gonna grab

a pair of scissors too just in case

okay I got some glitter watercolor so

I'm gonna be really good

I've never done a DIY in ten minutes

before I'm gonna start by trying to make

my ears get a watercolor not really the

last time I water colored was in second

grade

seriously me too though try to double up

the ears how is still getting so much

done I'm still working on my watercolor

and it's not even dried yet I think Jill

might actually beat me I don't know are

you gonna cut both ears out of one paper

probably fold this in half and then

Gavin and then like cut yeah oh yeah

even though they might be a little small

got my water things are at the five

minute mark step away from the craft I

have another twist for you guys oh you

have to switch crap right you're like oh

my gosh this could not have been a

better situation for me I think this is

actually gonna work in my favor

I'm in full panic mode right now because

she hasn't even started anything really

she was just painting circles on a piece

of paper and now I have to figure out

how to put her craft together okay

that's kind of worked out in my favor

though because I love Lisa harder than

you with my supplies stuck with yours

Alexa keeps gloating about how her

project is turning out so great now but

guess what that project is mine I'm

still gonna win so no you're not but

even if you win it's really like I won

because okay that was my project that

really looks I'm finishing a project

never be as cute as what I like you know

make this point easy there you go I got

me a guitar

ha how did you get it so perfect I guess

I'm just not good at crafting wait that

looks good no it doesn't know this guy's

mine okay yours was like really good

just still wet but I'm just gonna yeah

it's fine good to go Alexa let's do this

three more minutes ladies no it's not

enough time can we get a bonus to me

well you can ask Alexa what she would

Street over here I got stuck with her

stuff

I don't know I'm worried for you guys

okay but it's gonna be fine I hope so

I'm coming back okay Venus just see me

out so much this is gonna be so I know

this looks yeah I know my ears this is

not good I was struggling at first but I

think these cat ears are coming together

Jill's are looking pretty good but I

think I have this one in the bag

possibly step away from no fur all right

all right all right I'm done I'm done is

on it

Jill tell me about your project well

when I got switched over to Alexis I

knew that I wanted both of the ears to

look different from each other so I

create another little watercolor and

these these are them now ready do keep

you did an amazing job on the water

right so yeah thank you

Alexa tell me about those well this

definitely worked out in my favor

because I got switched over to Jill's

tragic but yeah yeah thanks thanks no

but I just covered mine in little pinky

girls they're super cute and girly and I

love it's so funny because it's so

different from what I was gonna do so

it's funny like like you came up with a

different idea are you good both collabs

out you guys I am no I'm not glad I'm

really glad you guys went different

directions with your cat ears because I

was actually worried that you guys were

gonna do the same thing so I'm proud of

y'all and they look super cute Alexa I

love yours because they are very well

put together and I'm not online

I would I would buy them I don't stand a

chance anymore this cute and Jill yours

are super cute too the watercolor the

rhinestones adorable but I had to decide

on a winner

my gosh I am seriously no idea how that

happened because honestly I like the

elections better - but I am so excited

that I just won when I gave you guys

that twist and you guys switched I want

to do what stick those little flowers on

that's all you did basically but that

means true super cute I'm not gonna lie

they're adorable but you're not the

winner when you gave her your ears she

didn't even know what was going on so

she kind of just went with it and she

basically did it all her own I mean I

had to work extra hard in those last

five minutes to get mine together so I

am so happy that I came out on top

okay Jill's are pretty cute and she did

do a lot in a short amount of time so I

guess she deserves to win so
