I was never the traditional sort. I always followed my heart and my gut, and that’s what led me to quitting my job and travelling the world. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it was one of the best ones I’ve ever made.
I’d always dreamed of travelling, but I never thought it was something I could actually do. I was raised to believe that you get a good education, get a good job, and settle down. But I just couldn’t see myself doing that. I was restless and I wanted to see the world.
Finally, I took the plunge and quit my job. I sold everything I owned and bought a one-way ticket to Europe. I had no plan and no idea what I was doing. But I knew I had to go.
It was the best decision I ever made. Travelling the world has been the most amazing experience of my life. I’ve seen so many amazing things and met so many amazing people. I’ve been challenged and pushed out of my comfort zone in ways I never could have imagined.
I’ve learnt more about myself and the world in the past few years than I ever could have at a desk job. And I’m not done yet. I still have so much more to see and do.
So if you’re feeling restless and uncertain about your future, don’t be afraid to take a leap of faith and follow your dreams. You won’t regret it.
